Thank you for just explaining the process and not just talking and talking . Made it simple and informative.
A super and easy tutorial to watch! Thank you very much for creating this video. Saved my mom a bunch of money by not having to take it to her local dealer.
Im about to do my own and save me some time and money.
Great simple video. Love it!
Thanks bro, straight to the point 👉
Excellent video! Helped a lot 😊
Good video it really helped out thank you!
I’m 99% sure that car is supposed to be running orange coolant or universal yellow, its cooling system is not meant for green.
Whats the name of the tool to tale off the hose clamp
Thanks for this video!!
Great job thanks👏👏👏👌.
Amazing job
Great video !! very helpful
Great tutorial. Thanks
Great video. 👍
Is there a way to reset the error code after replacing or does it go off on its own after a while?
Great video
What tools are needed to do it yourself?
Good video....thank you......
What tool is that you’re using on the clamp?
A C clamp
@@DULLAHGOSOHARD i was about to ask that never seen that before its badass
Thanks
what if I didn't bleed the system?
Never use Duralast parts (autozone) you’ll be sorry ..
Right on
Would you want to put the hose on first? Or does that block the bottom bolt? I am SO not a car guy, but I'm trying to learn ..... baby steps.....
the hose has more give and play. always important to line up the bolts first
@@1on1c5 The video helped, and I did successfully get the thermostat changed. Thanks!
Is it a 10mm wrench you use?
Yeah, he mentioned it. Hard to hear tough.
10mm racheting box wrench is the easiest way it's tight
Is this the same for a 2009
My 2013 Dodge Journey temp gauge goes hot after awhile of being parked,so I assume I gotta replace this thermostat 😫
Or cooling fan
There's also a radiator Fan Motor Fuse (40amp Green) (#F148) in the {underhood} fuse panel. Check this as well.
@@Westlake that actually was the issue bro!! What about my ‘17 dodge charger pursuit? Any idea why is over heating?
Do you happen to know about how many times you had to turn the screwdriver to release all of the air? Obviously it was at least three times, but I’m assuming more also?
I think he said until it stops bubbling. I'd imagine he let it run for a minute or so to let the air bubbles rise up.
Did you drain all the coolant out first ?
You could, but no need to. Your just draining whatever is on top of the motor in the passageways.
Did you do this while the car was running??
Nope the system will be to hot car needs to be cold
To you have a video for dodge journey 2010
Should be the same
Makes me upset my wifes they wanna charge 140+ for this e z job. Im out of state 😠
People always get mad at repair shop costs. Have to remember they’re a business with lots of over head they need to cover and still make a profit.. These shops have bills up the ass so all that is factored In the price !
It has 2 thermostat
The thermostat they gave me looks nothing like that lol
Would someone please take the key out of the Honda? Or close the door?
🤓
How I know is I have bad one tho
My check engine light came on for it
@@michaelmolkentin6262 does it go off immediately, or does it go off once you add new coolant ?
@@emmore436 update turns out the code that came up for it was actually my oilfilter cap leaking strange but fixed now
@@michaelmolkentin6262 Okay, yea I changed my thermostat and added coolant the next day. A little Over a week the engine light turned off
Mines just blowing cool air somewhat warm but not really lol
This is not for V6 model 3.5 L
this looks like such a pain in the ass
