I listen to this when I finish work and the day has been a bit tough. My battlefield is a hospital ward with long hours caring for others. It just feels comforting to have someone look after me. Nursing staff look after others, often at expense of their own needs. To have someone invested in my wellbeing just feels nice. It is like a hug at the end of the day, especially when the day has been hard and our patients have been extremely unwell. I love my job and wouldn't change it for anything, but there are days that can be difficult to process emotionally and mentally. Having something to listen to that allows me to slow down, rest and breathe at the end of the day is so very much needed at times. Thank you :)
