My dude, they're in shock and have been fed a ton of misinformation. Stop projecting your trauma onto them and take into account the circumstances. They're not afraid of you, they're just in shock after going through all this and trying to figure everything out.
Okay, I listened to this whole series last night and enjoyed it so so much!! This video is so good, it sets up the story so well. I love the turmoil of him being upset about his friend possibly seeing him as a monster now.

At the same time, the listener survived a very, VERY close call with a pack of werewolves, confirming they do in fact exist and now their best friend confessed that he’s also a werewolf so I understand why they’d lash out with some unkind words. I guess in different circumstances, where they’re not being hunted for sport, they’d be able to understand each other. I am rewatching the series and I will say- I know why I was so pissed off this first episode. Like bestie, I understand we said some out of pocket things but considering; - information on werewolves is very falsified - we were chased down and almost killed - our BEST FRIEND didn't trust us enough to tell us something this big... mind you we've been best friends for 10 YEARS - we're definitely in shock and are scared - we're, ya know- F*CKING INJURED TOO! And the part that pissed me off most was the projecting and the accusations- like for someone that's supposed to be my bestie you're definitely not acting like it. I understand why you wouldn't tell me and why you would be upset from some things I said, but you should be a tad bit more understanding of OUR situation. I also really hated when he said "that's why I hate you humans" and I would've rethunk my friendship with my bestie of 10 YEARS for a while. Side note: I love our sense of humor and I think this audio was done amazingly!(along with the rest of the series). I was definitely be salty for a little bit after this first episode.
