Awesome website! I also trying to learn html ..but it somehow ends at displaying my header h1 trough h6 skills ..and then showing off to my little nephews 😊
Yes! Finally learnt how webpages do the magic. Btw I am not a network engineer. But it is valuable to know these things. It helps to connect the dots. I love the way pace your words. You would be a good lecturer in top universities. Thank you!
Looking forward to this, the current videos have been great. I've gone from procrastinating to watching all your videos on networking over just 2 days!
Hello Sir, that was a very good video on the HTTP basics. Would be really appreciated if you could provide a deep dive on the telnet protocol. Thanks for the video. keep inspiring us with great content.
Glad you enjoyed the video =). Telnet merely opens a TCP connection. THere isn't much more to it :) You can use it to open connections on port 25 to replicate SMTP conversations, or port 80 to replicate HTTP conversions (as we did in this video)
Very well. So the HTTP request consists of basically two steps 1. Make socket connection 2.Send appropriate HTTP protocol string and receive response ?
@PracticalNetworking I am also interested when we should expect the course to be released. Could you give some insights in the scope of the course because although I am interested into networking maybe it would be too much advanced knowledge for web developer and not the actual Network engineer
Good day everyone, I'm living in the Bronx NY.please were can I get a school here in the Bronx that can offer networking certificate caurse ? Please locate me thanks

You are without a doubt the best networking resource on youtube, if not the internet. Many thanks
Thank you. It is nice seeing the face behind the informative series of NETWORK FUNDAMENTALS. Thank you once again.

Is it possible to use WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) to try out telnet connection like that?
Yes! That is in fact what I was using.

Hi Ed, thank you for the awesome video series 👍 The first mention of the upcoming course was 3 years ago, do you still plan on going through with it?
Hi there, is there an ETA for the course?

Thank you for this awesome playlist sir. Go ahead. Can you please do a playlist on Linux?
I've already sketched out a video on common linux commands. But I have a few others I have to get to first before I can work on the Linux video =/
Great video. Could you do a session on coding a bare bones SMTP server ?
Thanks 🙏
now, could you explain what do you mean by establishing a connection and it's implications? also ports and tcp udp
thank you very much! great channel
Well, I am not a native English-speaker. Do you have caption on your website(multi-languages)?
Interesting 🙂
If a junior “developer” doesn’t know this then you made a bad hiring decision.
telnet protocol is used almost only in old systems. protocols like ftp, smtp, http, dns... is what devs should be familiar with
Thankyou very much

What if you ran telnet on port 443. Would it automatically encrypt it?
Can you teach us networking in the context of hacker ?
