I've been using Wet n Wild since I was a teen, a million years ago. I have always thought the name was so embarrassing, lol! But when you're a teen in the 80's and only have a dollar to buy a lipstick, Wet n Wild is the way to go.
Agreed. I think I used to get this pink with a slight hint of purple . It was kind of frosted but it was the only color I wore with a lip liner in a similar color but a little darker. Wore them right into the 90s

I’ve been using the dewy foundation with my dry skin and I love it. It needs a primer (not their dewy primer. I ended up looking like a disco ball), a light dusting of powder, and setting spray and you’re good to go. It’s my new go-to and I’m used to spending NARS $$
I love this foundation! It wears so well on me and the coverage is perfect for what I like. I don’t find it to be super dewy but just a nice natural finish. I have EXTREMELY dry skin but I put an oil under it or moisturizing primer and just be sure not to apply too much. Definitely my current fave!
I also wear oil. I use oil retinoids, then a moisturizer that I add Argan oil with. I’m super dry, but I notice the original foundation does well over all that oil. I was wondering about my oils and the new dewy foundation. Thanks for posting your comment! You sold me on it..
I just bought this for $2.50 on amazon and I am loving it. I’m 36 with more combo skin and it’s been holding up nicely. Really natural on me. I can’t believe Wet n Wild made a foundation I like better than my Charlotte Tilbury one. Wet n Wild was THE drugstore makeup I remember growing up. Can’t believe they are still kicking and apparently killing it lol

I swear I’m not doing this for clout but you guys!!!! We need to seriously get more on Taylor’s ass about how AMAZING it is that she literally deals with chronic pain and still manages to take this job seriously and does things even when she “doesn’t feel like it”. Other you tubers take weeks off because of some random event in their life that happened (which I’m not downplaying mental health but come on, if it’s your job you don’t get to call in because “you just don’t feel motivated”) Taylor. I applaud you for your work ethic.. honestly your one of the palest you tubers out there with dry skin and we have literally nothing in common in our “looks” (Im a woman of color, oily skin, I don’t like the whole “glammed up” full on eyeshadow everyday look) but I still watch all your videos because you do what you came here to do on TH-cam. You are a reliable source for information when it comes to products and I’m very thankful for that. Wishing health your way.
I know you don't like health advice or comments on this section. But I just have to say Taylor, I struggle with so many of the same health problems as you, and I've been a long time viewer, and I can't underestimate what an inspiration you are to me! How tough you are and how much you're still able to do in spite of the pain makes me feel like I can do it too. Thanks for doing all you do to represent those of us with chronic pain issues.

I think when the brand first came out it was nail polishes only. So the wet is from like the glossy finish and the wild is from the color variety. I think!
I love that when you show us the problems you get close enough and don't have crazy filters. Other TH-camrs, who shall remain nameless, do it and you're like , where I can't see anything.
Sitting here watching this I was just having a pitty party for myself. I currently have a sinus infection and just want to feel normal. I can't imagine having chronic pain and discomfort. I’m obsessed with this foundation currently!! It wears amazing all day and has the finish I’m always on the hunt for. I don’t really powder my face at all so I don’t have any trouble with it getting dry or cakey looking through your the day. Thanks for the heads up on it being so cheap at target and Walmart though. I’ll for sure be stocking up!

I’ve been using this for about two weeks now and after all these years and thousands of dollars on high end foundation and drugstore crap I have finally found my holy grail foundation! They better never get rid of this or change it lol lol I already bought two bottles lol lol I have mature very dry skin and I literally look younger with this foundation and it lasts so long for me and doesn’t settle into my wrinkles and the best part I have very large pores and every foundation I’ve used shows them and my texture and makes them look horrible but this?! Omg they are not emphasized and look smaller and smoother and no texture ! I freakin love it! luv ya 💜💜💜
Wet n wild foundation is around $14 here in New Zealand (Revlon is around $25-30 depending where you shop, L'oreal infallible is $43, ELF is still $10-25 depending on where you go & what you get & MAC studio fix is $64, MAC Pro longwear is $75 ) so I really REALLY appreciate these reviews before I go out and buy!.. i love this foundation! i have normal-oily skin but i set this with a matte powder and my skin looks poreless, flawless, & smooth all day. i love the coverage too!!!

I surprisingly love this foundation. After watching some of the reviews on here, I didn’t have high hopes because it didn’t seem to preform as well on the reviewers as I’d hoped. But I’ve been wearing this foundation non stop for literally the past 2 weeks! It performs exceptionally better (IMO) blending in very small amounts on the face with a brush prior to using a beauty blender. If I don’t apply it that way, it doesn’t last a work day on my dry skin.

jessfher1611 the only issue I had with it, is the same as Taylor, it broke down on my chin. And I woke up this morning with a massive breakout. Pretty sure the breakout is from a moisturizer i used previously, and I wanted to try it again to see if I had the same breakout and I did. Once my face clears up I’ll the foundation again. Other than my chin, it looks amazing on my skin. I do have oily skin so I use mattifying moisturizers and setting sprays so it’ll last.
I have dry skin and The first time I wore it I think I powdered too much and it started looking horrible and very drying. The second day I only powdered under my eyes and it wore great for 10 hours. Also I applied with a brush the first day and the sponge the second day and I prefer the sponge.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who had the same issues as you did with this foundation. The same exact thing happened to me this weekend while wearing this foundation. I'm hoping to give it another chance because I love love the shade and how it looked everywhere else besides my nose and upper lip.

I have dry, sensitive skin, I live in a mountain town with a long winter... I tried this foundation today, and OMG. It goes on so smooth, even, and set nicely. 8 hours later and there's some dry patches showing on my chin and near my nostrils (didn't use a primer), but that's pretty normal for my skin. I think this is a winner.... My other current favorite is the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation. I've been using that for a month now and it's great! I tried the new Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk foundation and was super excited...but I didn't like the smell, it didn't go on well (hands and sponge) and definitely oxidized quickly. It didn't last through the day, was very streaky.
I just have to give you a huge applause for letting us see your real face! I know I have said this before but no other influencer does this and let’s face it none of us look blurred, we all have something on our faces that bother us. So thank you for just being you!🤗❤️
Ashley of Naath Sadly Wet n Wild is selling in mainland China now meaning they are not truly cruelty free now. Their products can be tested on animals by the Chinese government and they still chose to sell there.
try revolutions hydrating foundation, its dewy, inexpensive, and actually cruelty free unlike wet n wild who technically aren't now. Taylor did a video on it and liked it
Its too bad about their business move. In a few months I will be decluttering/finishing up all my Wn’W products. I heard NYX Born To Glow foundation is a good cruelty free alternative and Logical Harmony approved. Sharing in case anyone cares. Lol.
I've been using this foundation for a couple weeks (Nude Ivory- I came out of denial about being fair-skinned last year) and I find that I like it. I use a pore minimizing primer, though. I have huge pores. I haven't been having major issues with creasing, but everyone's skin is different. I was totally looking forward to this review, though! Love from South Dakota!
I actually love that companies are also coming out with way more light shades, because I used to never find my shade match... Either it was too light or too dark. Companies have really been putting thought into every light, medium, tan, and dark shades there are. I look forward to the day that every foundation has every shade range, to where it be impossible not to match you.

Does it have the same weird paint smell as the original Photo focus? I loved the look of that one but never use it bc I absolutely can't STAND the smell.

I've just recently acquired a bottle of the new formula and can't say it has that same odor either but I've not really had a lot of experience with it yet. I'm hooked on the Believe brand foundation from Dollar General with the Elf primers (original pore and luminous).
Yeah I used it over the wander beauty glow oil once and Touch in Sol prime essence another time and it worked awesome for my dry skin. I’ve been playing around with different powders because it doesn’t last as long as other foundations I own but you can’t even feel it on your skin it’s great!
The DE Babyfacial didn’t make me purge (but I’m 52), but holy shitzees did it make me peel! Especially around my mouth and corners of my nose. And I use retinol, AHAs/BHAs, on a regular basis. Weird. Taylor, I hope you are feeling much better by the time you posted this!!! It makes me so sad to hear you’re feeling crappy. I’m very curious about the coverage and formula compares to the original. I use the original to color correct & brighten my cc cream in areas. It is bit thin, and not the best coverage, but it looks fine added to my cc cream.

i have fairly normal skin, slightly oily in some areas and dry around my nose. i’ve been using this foundation in combination with the elf lore less putty primer and the new elf hydrating concealer for everyday looks, like for work, and i LOVE it. i lightly set my face with powder, and just go a little heavier in my oily areas.
Yes. The baby facial does the same thing to me. I used it last night. And i woke up with a massive deep pimple that is several layers down, rock hard and super painful. But when it doesn’t do that, ( because it doesn’t always) it does remove a lot of the texture from my skin.
As someone who went to school for cosmetology masks are made to bring all in impurities to the surface to clean your face. So when you use anything like an acid peel or a mask you will break out. After you want to use a toner or put cold water on your face to close your pores. That is a extremely important step.

Also, you are one of the few TH-camrs who I feel like I can trust with describing the coverage of a foundation (light, medium, full) cuz you actually KNOW what a full coverage foundation should preform like! La Roche Posay has put out a new like kinda tinted moisturizer foundation but it has way more then sheer coverage (id say a good light-medium) and its supposed to be super moisturizing, I know you loved the sunscreen so you should try that too!
Okay, I totally agree about having too many similar shades, BUT i absolutely LOVE that more brands are starting to come out with "rose ivory" because it's been almost impossible for me to find a good shade match that's pink enough.
You should try the Kat Von D Vegan True Portrait foundation! It's a very liquidy formula and it dries down to a powder matte finish but it's light weight enough to not make skin look dry and cakey. I think it might work for you Taylor 🙂

I agree with you 100% about the Drunk Elephant Babyfacial. I thought maybe it was just me so I was relieved to hear you mention that it brings all of the small bumps up to the surface or your skin also. I still don’t notice a huge different from using it even after they clear but I love so many other Drunk Elephant products. ❤️
If you have clogged pores, AHAs & BHAs (like the baby facial from drunk elephant or the ordinary one) will bring what’s clogged to the surface. I’ve had it happen with both. I do like The Ordinary peeling solution better for many reasons. When I worked at Ulta, we got a shipment of 50. I put them all out & we were sold out within 36hours. People *LOVE* that stuff!
Yes on the baby facial! Every time! I’ll get small bumps/ pimples on my nose and I normally don’t. I love the way it makes my skin feel but man it draws oil so bad and I also have dry skin. I wasn’t sure if it didn’t like my moisturizer but I tried it with several.
This foundation is the perfect foundation to use one layer then go over and set with a powder or even a powder foundation. It needs to be set because it's basically just pigment and silicones if you read the ingredients. The ingredient list reminds me of the Angel Veil NYX primer formulation. No need for a primer under it unless it's a very mattifying primer. It would also work great with the Moisturize/SPF, light powder, setting spray, allow to dry then either press it in with something like Tatis Blendiful or bounce sponge it on so that you aren't moving anything under it technique. I love it because I can use one layer then set it with my powder foundation and it looks so amazing that way.
The original (non dewy) broke down on my face just like that. It starts out so pretty though. Someone told me to mix it. I know you're a pro at mixing foundations! Thanks for all that you do. Hope you feel better soon.
Idk if you've tried it, but the secret key lemon sparkling peel mask is amazing to get rid of dead skin. It feels great and doesn't irritate the skin. Hope this helps 💕

I bought this a week ago and I agree with you. I did a tiny touch up mid day and that helped a lot and it made it last all day. Price wise is great so I think it is worth it. I use Rose Ivory.
My face will look cakey like that when I use sponges that are too soft but sometimes even my more dense sponge wont make much more of a difference either & that's when I'll use my artiste type brush. When I saw your 1st check in I felt like it wouldn't have looked that cakey if you'd used that brush & i always use very minimal products underneath. Seems like the forehead always looks the best I think bcuz it's really getting pressed or blended in better compared to the rest of the face bcuz the rest of the face is so soft, luv yeeew Taylor ❣🖤

I bought this when it first came out. An just picked another bottle to have a back up. I use it everyday as a work foundation. It looks so pretty sheared out, on a natural makeup day!
i've been using dermalogica skin resurfacing cleanser for 8 months and it totally fixed so much of my weird texture issues! it's an aha cleanser with no scrubby bits and it's ok to use daily on my sensitive skin. within the first couple uses my skin was so much better!
@@ranrae3712 i haven't tried an aha toner before so i'm not sure. i have really sensitive skin and haven't ever had an issue with the dermalogica though. i use it every night after cleansing with cetaphil daily face wash. i do moisturize pretty well but i haven't had any issues with it making me too dry.
Omg The peel from the ordinary that’s a dupe for babyfacial brings everything up for me too! I haven’t tried the baby facial yet! I’ve been told that the Paulas choice 2% BHA solution really clears up your pores though so I’m going to try the one in the charcoal bottle and the extra strength one from their clear line because I have super stubborn blackheads on my nose and chin
This wears exactly the same around my mouth and chin. Completely breaks down and i really want to love it because price. Ive been pairing it with the revlon pore primer that you suggested and it does help a bit
I’m currently on accutane so it’s been quite a time going from oily skin to dry skin. I like to do a 50/50 mix of this foundation with my moisturizer (the cerave daily moisturizing lotion) and it is by far the best foundation i’ve tried. it gives me a really skinlike appearance while still evening out my skintone. Samantha Ravndahl is a big inspo in how i do my makeup; i use a lot of the techniques she talks about in her videos. i also pair this foundation with the wet n wild hydrating primer serum and their cucumber primer water.
Omg Taylor I have the same issue with Babyfacial but I swapped that product for The Ordinary 30% acid peel a long time ago, it gives the same effect but without the irritation and no purging for me! It’s just more gentle. Plus it’s under $10! Have repurchased multiple times! You can get it in Ulta stores now I think. (I also just found a dupe for their Protini moisturizer - the Acure whipped night cream at Target! Nearly identical ingredients!)
I’ve been following you since I discovered you in the first dollar tree video 3 or 4 years ago and I am so blown away with how far you’ve come you’re so beautiful and gorgeous and just so fun to watch
I like this foundation a lot. I tend to use light to medium coverage foundations. This is one I can wear a light layer and feel like I'm put together. I do also use a pore filling primer. I'm also their lightest shade Porcelain.
I felt the same way about this foundation. When something says dewy, I don’t expect it to be cakey. But the first time I wore it, it looked awful. I’ve found that if I sheer it out with a drop of facial oil and use a little amount of the foundation (like you said, a little goes a long way) and use a damp makeup sponge to apply, it looks good.
I tried this foundation for the first time yesterday and I was really pleasantly surprised! Foundation always starts creasing / disappearing on my nose and chin after a few hours. This one started to break up at like hour 5 or so, but I touched it up with a small drop of foundation and a damp sponge and it layered up beautifully! I was honestly really surprised. It ended up lasting like 5 more hours! Also, Wet N Wild is unfortunately no longer considered cruelty free.
My skin tone is almost like yours but I’m a little more pink so I use Rose Ivory. Still haven’t tried this version but the original Photofocus is my go to.
might have to give this one a try. the original photo focus was my original favorite foundation and the rose ivory shade was a 100% shade match for me.

Hi Taylor...I so wanted to love this foundation but I agree it seems to enhance all my pores and fine lines too. Even with a pore filling primer. I have dry skin too but I don't see much dewyness with this foundation. 😕

I can’t believe Wet n Wild made a foundation I like better than my Charlotte Tilbury one. Wet n Wild was THE drugstore makeup I remember growing up. Can’t believe they are still kicking and apparently killing it lol

I swear I’m not doing this for clout but you guys!!!! We need to seriously get more on Taylor’s ass about how AMAZING it is that she literally deals with chronic pain and still manages to take this job seriously and does things even when she “doesn’t feel like it”. Other you tubers take weeks off because of some random event in their life that happened (which I’m not downplaying mental health but come on, if it’s your job you don’t get to call in because “you just don’t feel motivated”) Taylor. I applaud you for your work ethic.. honestly your one of the palest you tubers out there with dry skin and we have literally nothing in common in our “looks” (Im a woman of color, oily skin, I don’t like the whole “glammed up” full on eyeshadow everyday look) but I still watch all your videos because you do what you came here to do on TH-cam. I’m obsessed with this foundation currently!! It wears amazing all day and has the finish I’m always on the hunt for. I don’t really powder my face at all so I don’t have any trouble with it getting dry or cakey looking through your the day. Thanks for the heads up on it being so cheap at target and Walmart though. I’ll for sure be stocking up!

They better never get rid of this or change it lol lol I already bought two bottles lol lol I have mature very dry skin and I literally look younger with this foundation and it lasts so long for me and doesn’t settle into my wrinkles and the best part I have very large pores and every foundation I’ve used shows them and my texture and makes them look horrible but this?! Wet n wild foundation is around $14 here in New Zealand (Revlon is around $25-30 depending where you shop, L'oreal infallible is $43, ELF is still $10-25 depending on where you go & what you get & MAC studio fix is $64, MAC Pro longwear is $75 ) so I really REALLY appreciate these reviews before I go out and buy!.. I surprisingly love this foundation. After watching some of the reviews on here, I didn’t have high hopes because it didn’t seem to preform as well on the reviewers as I’d hoped. But I’ve been wearing this foundation non stop for literally the past 2 weeks! It performs exceptionally better (IMO) blending in very small amounts on the face with a brush prior to using a beauty blender. If I don’t apply it that way, it doesn’t last a work day on my dry skin.
I really like this foundation!! So happy it doesn’t smell like paint!

jessfher1611 the only issue I had with it, is the same as Taylor, it broke down on my chin. And I woke up this morning with a massive breakout. Pretty sure the breakout is from a moisturizer i used previously, and I wanted to try it again to see if I had the same breakout and I did. Once my face clears up I’ll the foundation again. Other than my chin, it looks amazing on my skin. I do have oily skin so I use mattifying moisturizers and setting sprays so it’ll last.

I have dry skin and The first time I wore it I think I powdered too much and it started looking horrible and very drying. The second day I only powdered under my eyes and it wore great for 10 hours. Also I applied with a brush the first day and the sponge the second day and I prefer the sponge.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who had the same issues as you did with this foundation. The same exact thing happened to me this weekend while wearing this foundation. I'm hoping to give it another chance because I love love the shade and how it looked everywhere else besides my nose and upper lip.

I have dry, sensitive skin, I live in a mountain town with a long winter... I tried this foundation today, and OMG. It goes on so smooth, even, and set nicely. 8 hours later and there's some dry patches showing on my chin and near my nostrils (didn't use a primer), but that's pretty normal for my skin. I think this is a winner....
My other current favorite is the L'Oreal Paris Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation. I've been using that for a month now and it's great! I tried the new Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk foundation and was super excited...but I didn't like the smell, it didn't go on well (hands and sponge) and definitely oxidized quickly. It didn't last through the day, was very streaky.
I just have to give you a huge applause for letting us see your real face! I know I have said this before but no other influencer does this and let’s face it none of us look blurred, we all have something on our faces that bother us. So thank you for just being you!🤗❤️

Ashley of Naath Sadly Wet n Wild is selling in mainland China now meaning they are not truly cruelty free now. Their products can be tested on animals by the Chinese government and they still chose to sell there.

I've been using this foundation for a couple weeks (Nude Ivory- I came out of denial about being fair-skinned last year) and I find that I like it. I use a pore minimizing primer, though. I have huge pores. I haven't been having major issues with creasing, but everyone's skin is different. I was totally looking forward to this review, though! Love from South Dakota!

I actually love that companies are also coming out with way more light shades, because I used to never find my shade match... Either it was too light or too dark.
Companies have really been putting thought into every light, medium, tan, and dark shades there are.

I am loving this foundation! It's crazy bc I also have dry skin and a lot of foundations just sit on top but this one doesn't. It is amazing how everyone's skin is different.l and foundations react differently to everyone.

I've just recently acquired a bottle of the new formula and can't say it has that same odor either but I've not really had a lot of experience with it yet. I'm hooked on the Believe brand foundation from Dollar General with the Elf primers (original pore and luminous).
Yeah I used it over the wander beauty glow oil once and Touch in Sol prime essence another time and it worked awesome for my dry skin. I’ve been playing around with different powders because it doesn’t last as long as other foundations I own but you can’t even feel it on your skin it’s great!
The DE Babyfacial didn’t make me purge (but I’m 52), but holy shitzees did it make me peel! Especially around my mouth and corners of my nose. And I use retinol, AHAs/BHAs, on a regular basis. Weird. Taylor, I hope you are feeling much better by the time you posted this!!! It makes me so sad to hear you’re feeling crappy. The Soap and Glory Kick Ass foundation is the same ingredients. I think it’s a dupe. Taylor did a video on it.
I’m very curious about the coverage and formula compares to the original.
I use the original to color correct & brighten my cc cream in areas. It is bit thin, and not the best coverage, but it looks fine added to my cc cream.

i have fairly normal skin, slightly oily in some areas and dry around my nose. i’ve been using this foundation in combination with the elf lore less putty primer and the new elf hydrating concealer for everyday looks, like for work, and i LOVE it. i lightly set my face with powder, and just go a little heavier in my oily areas.
Yes. The baby facial does the same thing to me. I used it last night. And i woke up with a massive deep pimple that is several layers down, rock hard and super painful. But when it doesn’t do that, ( because it doesn’t always) it does remove a lot of the texture from my skin.
I've been loving this foundation and I'm oily! I even wore it for my engagement pictures and it looked awesome!
As someone who went to school for cosmetology masks are made to bring all in impurities to the surface to clean your face. So when you use anything like an acid peel or a mask you will break out. After you want to use a toner or put cold water on your face to close your pores. That is a extremely important step.

Also, you are one of the few TH-camrs who I feel like I can trust with describing the coverage of a foundation (light, medium, full) cuz you actually KNOW what a full coverage foundation should preform like! La Roche Posay has put out a new like kinda tinted moisturizer foundation but it has way more then sheer coverage (id say a good light-medium) and its supposed to be super moisturizing, I know you loved the sunscreen so you should try that too!

Okay, I totally agree about having too many similar shades, BUT i absolutely LOVE that more brands are starting to come out with "rose ivory" because it's been almost impossible for me to find a good shade match that's pink enough.
You should try the Kat Von D Vegan True Portrait foundation! It's a very liquidy formula and it dries down to a powder matte finish but it's light weight enough to not make skin look dry and cakey. I think it might work for you Taylor 🙂

I thought maybe it was just me so I was relieved to hear you mention that it brings all of the small bumps up to the surface or your skin also. I still don’t notice a huge different from using it even after they clear but I love so many other Drunk Elephant products. ❤️
If you have clogged pores, AHAs & BHAs (like the baby facial from drunk elephant or the ordinary one) will bring what’s clogged to the surface. I’ve had it happen with both. I do like The Ordinary peeling solution better for many reasons. When I worked at Ulta, we got a shipment of 50. I put them all out & we were sold out within 36hours. People *LOVE* that stuff!

Yes on the baby facial! Every time! I’ll get small bumps/ pimples on my nose and I normally don’t. I love the way it makes my skin feel but man it draws oil so bad and I also have dry skin. I wasn’t sure if it didn’t like my moisturizer but I tried it with several.
This foundation is the perfect foundation to use one layer then go over and set with a powder or even a powder foundation. It needs to be set because it's basically just pigment and silicones if you read the ingredients. The ingredient list reminds me of the Angel Veil NYX primer formulation. No need for a primer under it unless it's a very mattifying primer. It would also work great with the Moisturize/SPF, light powder, setting spray, allow to dry then either press it in with something like Tatis Blendiful or bounce sponge it on so that you aren't moving anything under it technique. I love it because I can use one layer then set it with my powder foundation and it looks so amazing that way.
I love this formula of the foundation! I find that if I prime and powder before I put it on I can make it last all day and it stays looking dewy💜

Idk if you've tried it, but the secret key lemon sparkling peel mask is amazing to get rid of dead skin. It feels great and doesn't irritate the skin. Hope this helps 💕

I bought this a week ago and I agree with you. I did a tiny touch up mid day and that helped a lot and it made it last all day. Price wise is great so I think it is worth it. I use Rose Ivory.
My face will look cakey like that when I use sponges that are too soft but sometimes even my more dense sponge wont make much more of a difference either & that's when I'll use my artiste type brush. When I saw your 1st check in I felt like it wouldn't have looked that cakey if you'd used that brush & i always use very minimal products underneath. Seems like the forehead always looks the best I think bcuz it's really getting pressed or blended in better compared to the rest of the face bcuz the rest of the face is so soft, luv yeeew Taylor ❣🖤

i've been using dermalogica skin resurfacing cleanser for 8 months and it totally fixed so much of my weird texture issues! it's an aha cleanser with no scrubby bits and it's ok to use daily on my sensitive skin. within the first couple uses my skin was so much better!

@@ranrae3712 i haven't tried an aha toner before so i'm not sure. i have really sensitive skin and haven't ever had an issue with the dermalogica though. i use it every night after cleansing with cetaphil daily face wash. i do moisturize pretty well but i haven't had any issues with it making me too dry.
Omg The peel from the ordinary that’s a dupe for babyfacial brings everything up for me too! I haven’t tried the baby facial yet! I’ve been told that the Paulas choice 2% BHA solution really clears up your pores though so I’m going to try the one in the charcoal bottle and the extra strength one from their clear line because I have super stubborn blackheads on my nose and chin
This wears exactly the same around my mouth and chin. Completely breaks down and i really want to love it because price. Ive been pairing it with the revlon pore primer that you suggested and it does help a bit

I’m currently on accutane so it’s been quite a time going from oily skin to dry skin. I like to do a 50/50 mix of this foundation with my moisturizer (the cerave daily moisturizing lotion) and it is by far the best foundation i’ve tried. it gives me a really skinlike appearance while still evening out my skintone. Samantha Ravndahl is a big inspo in how i do my makeup; i use a lot of the techniques she talks about in her videos. i also pair this foundation with the wet n wild hydrating primer serum and their cucumber primer water.
Omg Taylor I have the same issue with Babyfacial but I swapped that product for The Ordinary 30% acid peel a long time ago, it gives the same effect but without the irritation and no purging for me! It’s just more gentle. Plus it’s under $10! Have repurchased multiple times! You can get it in Ulta stores now I think. (I also just found a dupe for their Protini moisturizer - the Acure whipped night cream at Target! Nearly identical ingredients!)

I like this foundation a lot. I tend to use light to medium coverage foundations. This is one I can wear a light layer and feel like I'm put together. I do also use a pore filling primer. I'm also their lightest shade Porcelain.

I felt the same way about this foundation. When something says dewy, I don’t expect it to be cakey. But the first time I wore it, it looked awful. I’ve found that if I sheer it out with a drop of facial oil and use a little amount of the foundation (like you said, a little goes a long way) and use a damp makeup sponge to apply, it looks good.
I tried this foundation for the first time yesterday and I was really pleasantly surprised! Foundation always starts creasing / disappearing on my nose and chin after a few hours. This one started to break up at like hour 5 or so, but I touched it up with a small drop of foundation and a damp sponge and it layered up beautifully! I was honestly really surprised. It ended up lasting like 5 more hours! Also, Wet N Wild is unfortunately no longer considered cruelty free.
My skin tone is almost like yours but I’m a little more pink so I use Rose Ivory. Still haven’t tried this version but the original Photofocus is my go to.
might have to give this one a try. the original photo focus was my original favorite foundation and the rose ivory shade was a 100% shade match for me.
