North America simply cannot compare in the least bit: the infrastructure and the scenery is incredible.

    • @chksevil

You don't need to trade that much of "good" infrastructure for clamorous conversations among locals, dilapidated buildings and allies, jam-packed living space, polluted air and food, and the savage and self-centered driving habits of the locals. A third world country is always a third world country, and an autocratic one too.Besides, the enormous amount of money that spent on infrastructure are tax payers' money which usage is supervised by taxpayers themselves in North America, they are spent elsewhere like medical service and education. But in an autocratic state like what your seeing now, CCP spends money only on prestige projects to showcase its own great achievements to outsiders, in order to secure promotions for themselves, while showing no concern for actual issues related to people's livelihoods. As for the concerns for the "road condition" part, North Americans have access to one of the best and cheapest off road car markets in the world, so I wouldn't worry about that.

@@chksevil You are right. Apart from being beautiful, these roads are of no use at all. A nuclear bomb can turn these roads into ruins. We Chinese people hope that the government can build 10,000 nuclear bombs to protect the country instead of making these useless roads. , but the Chinese government simply doesn’t listen to the people’s voices.

I like the healthy rule in Chinese traffic: a pedestrian is made 90 per cent out of water, and a car is made 90 per cent out of metal. So a pedestrian cannot win with a car, naturally :) . That's why car is superior on the road and it just comes out of logical thinking. As simple as that! :)

I have no idea of what is there to show for an autocratic third world country. Maybe something that Europeans and North Americans can hardly see in their lives like clamorous traffic and crowd, loud conversations among locals, dilapidated buildings and allies, jam-packed living space, polluted air and food, murky and humid climate, or perhaps the savage and self-centered driving habits of the locals as part of an enthusiastic welcome ceremony.

The western pirate civilization, which made its fortune by robbery, forgets its past and mistakes itself for civilized people. But don’t worry, this economic crisis will soon knock you back to your original shape and make you realize that without the wealth plundered by your robber ancestors, you will have no competitiveness in the face of the smartest and most diligent East Asian civilization. The dirty and smelly Middle Ages are your true colors, mother fuckers. Run away quickly from Sodom before it is destroyed by skyfire, bitch.

Right now the USA looks like a third world country with its level of crime, murders, homelessness, drug trafficking, extreme poverty, indebtedness, dirty and poorly maintained cities, bridges that are literally falling apart, an overwhelming social decline for most people except for the ultra rich and politicians who live off the backs of the people... while China is the epicenter of the 4th industrial revolution, contributes 36% of world growth and has a middle class larger than the entire West, and all this without bombing and destroying countries and causing suffering to the world as the United States and its allies do.
