The video spans 191.6 kilometers from Xi'an to Ankang, running longitudinally through China's famous Qinling Mountains. There are as many as 70 tunnels in this less than 200 kilometers of expressway, including the Zhongnanshan Tunnel, the longest expressway tunnel in China.
Qinling Zhongnan Mountain Expressway Tunnel 00:18:46 It is a through-mountain passage connecting Xi'an City and Shangluo City in Shaanxi Province, China. It is located in Qinling Zhongnan Mountain and is part of the Baotou-Maoming Expressway.
The construction of the Qinling Zhongnanshan Expressway Tunnel started on January 8, 2001, and was completed and put into operation on January 20, 2007.
The Qinling Zhongnanshan Expressway Tunnel starts from Qingcha Village, Wutai Street, Chang'an District, Xi'an in the north, and ends at Xiaoyukou, Yingpan Town, Zhashui County, Shangluo City in the south. The total length of the line is 18.02 kilometers; the road surface is four lanes in two holes and two lanes in one direction. The design speed is 80 kilometers per hour; the total project investment is 4.027 billion yuan.

Wow! 18 km!! Speechless 🙊 In România it took 30 years to make a bridge (2 km long) that was closed after a month ( construction problems and of course coruption). Not to mention nonexistent highways not even 1000km in 30 years in all the country. Congratulations China!!! You are amazing!!

I've been to both Xian and Ankang before. I took morning train to Ankang from Xian. I took afternoon express bus back to Xian. A Chinese man who sat besides me seem to be proud of that long tunnel in this video. I went to Ankang for clean air and nice mountain view.

Impresionante obra de ingeniería, mi admiración a los ingenieros del gigante asiático; y al gobierno de China, en 191 kilómetros no encontré lo que se conoce como peajes, no hay uno solo sitio donde se paga una tarifa para mantenimiento de estos corredores viales, que por cierto hay muchos de ellos en estos trayectos en mi país.
