No doubt, sethuram is good old person,but he is not enough grown up mentally. This is mainly because,he is telling that Hinduism is always targetted for criticism by others. This is totally wrong. Hinduism is no doubt an ancient religion and a noble religion with all virtues.But it does not mean it is totally free from defects and lapses. In ancient time upto medieval time, in hindu society there were several cruel,inhuman and unsocial practices and rites. We must accept them with open heart that they were blunders of hindu society of that time. Whatever the pro-hindu people defend them, they cannot be denied that is the fact. But for these defects, Hinduism shall not be blamed. But the people of that time particularly the priest class for their own vested interests and selfiesh ends they have manipulated hindu dharm and oppressed the lower class constitutes majority people who were ignorant and illiterate. In modern India with the spread of education,the people are enable understand what are their merits and demerits. To conclude, Truth is always is truth, we need not hide or defend it,it always reveals itself.
