Thanks for taking us along for the ride. The route looks different when there is just one rider. The nerd that I am, I gawk at the EV's more than the views.
Love your videos, I got me a Storm and liked the review , thanx for the reply about that before, I just recently got this one for $500 off someone with less than 200 miles on it, problem I notice to get it cheap was the stem creaking when turning the front handle left and right, needs greasing correct? Or something, also the rear was flat and I couldnt fill it up with my portable air inflater, I believe it's tubed this bike and should have it with some slime you think?
I just orderd the Aniioki A8 Pro Max 52v and it claims 100 mile range on throttle and 200+ miles on PAS. Its new to the market so I thought of you when I ordered it. I love your videos bro, you inspire me.
Awesome YogiSteve, enjoyed the unedited part. I know you try your best to make a quality show, and this was indeed, but seeing some of the background stuff is kinda cool... Take care brother... 👍👍👍
Just remember on most of these scooters when you drop below 50%. You really drop below 50%? Then you have to watch out on the voltage. You can't trust the percentage once it drops below 50% cause. It could be at 30% not really 50%. Just remember that thanks and cool video.
The hills where I'm at on the East coast don't compare to what you encounter in your area! Question, if you don't mind: Do you feel like your powerful scooters with ABS use more or less brake pads than those without? I went from modding rental scooters to owning a Dualtron w/ ABS, so I don't have any experience with other powerful scooters or any reference point in-between. I am happy with my scooter, though I asked about brakes because my friend is trying to decide what to buy, and he doesn't always trust my opinion because I love to tinker and mod everything, where he doesn't like to do anything beyond routine maintenance, and would like to keep that at a minimum. Great video!
I’m pretty sure my ABS brakes are off. The main difference between mechanical and hydraulic brakes mechanical brakes tend to go through pads faster. That being said none of this is really that significant when making a purchase. If you go with a big brand like Dualtron or Kaabo you’re good.
The only issue I have with these scooters is the portable weight of the scooter, the more miles and the higher the top speed the bigger the battery and the more heavier the scooter will be, love it other than that.
good video steve beause i have been thinking on getting a mantis king gt and i wanted to see how far you could get real time and your right steve about its not easy riding a scooter , when your like me live in a hilly area and you are going at say 30 mph and you looking out for pot holes its a work out mate especially if your anythink like me 55 and smoke too much smoke hahaha
Definitely was a nice route, was very enjoyable. I think I went faster on this trip then I ever have on my nami, and that was going up hill trying to keep up with the front pack 😄. I uploaded the group ride from my perspective on my page, broken into 5 parts at 4k 60 FPS if anyone is interested in seeing them.
yes you definitely can waterproof it but i am not sure how - adding silicon i guess - probably best to look this up and see how regular rain riders do it
I did my first delivery today on the Emove Cruise-S today. Do you still use yours? Do you swap out scooters throughout your shift to alternate charge them?
If I'm gonna do a lot of driving, I usually empty the battery on one scooter and then go home and get another one. I did 1000 deliveries on my Emove cruisers so I know you can do it.
Also don't forget cars have to follow the signs because cops will be looking for them, and the cars have to stop at the stop signs or almost stop or they could get a ticket I guess.

When travelling down hills like that you would be better off using regenerative braking not only does it put power back in to your batteries it slows you down. It gives you more range, long hills are better.
Did you get some volts back on the downhill? I don't need mirrors either, I can look behind me without changing my line easier than on a bike, strangely. Something to do with being on my feet It's a nice scooter it's just a shame no Kaabo has folding bars
@@yogadude1234 ok... Just got the chance to ride a mantis v2 base and definitely get volts back from regen braking. Has to be down a long hill and you don't get a lot back but definitely some

My rear tires keep popping I don’t know why!!! My front tires no issues. In 250 miles I changed out 5 rear tubes already. It’s exhausting and costing me money.
that sucks I've been there! Make sure to rub your hand on the inside of the room and make sure there's nothing sharp in there. After 5 flats I would assume it's not the tire it's the rim.
I was riding my Mantis King Gt one day. At the begining of the ride it showed 93% battery. As I rode for about 3 miles, it showed 30% charge left. But when I finished riding, it poped up to 73%. Did you have anything like that at any point? Outside was temperature about 40 degrees Fahrenheit.
I’m not really sure. When you hit the throttle you’re going to experience what we call voltage lag where the number goes down. At standing though the number should go back to whatever the voltage is.
I think it's surprising. Got my first scooter yesterday. I'm the sedintary type. Rode for an hour last night. Sore. You're using muscles and muscle groups not used in routine life. It's a workout without realizing it. It would take 30 days of daily ride to get strong where needed. Balance isn't good if those muscles aren't trained yet. Actually I've realized e-bikes are about laziness and scooters are about racquetball.

Hi there, awesome videos bro, now what's the best tires for this Mantis? PMT tires or road tires for the 10"? Thanx
I'm not really sure I just got tires off of Amazon your best bet to ask this question to go to the Facebook group they will know
@yogadude1234 nice so you ride with off road tires or road tires? And if so , do u use slim or some type of liner? Thanx
Hey yogi, love your videos. Is there anyway to waterproof your scooter? or is it best to just stay out of the rain?

Another question, what kind of pressure you are putting in you tires?
I keep my pressure relatively high usually 50 psi+ it is my opinion that flats are more often caused by low tire pressure than high tire pressure
