    This is awesome! No worries to ride in the rain. Did you seal anything for the holes and wirings so it would be waterproofed? Or all ar stock from the product? Thanks for sharing rides

    Congrats for the video. A kind question: In your opinion, are the handlebars too high for a 1.70 m person? I would need to know the height from the footboard to the steering knob to realize this.

      Thanks buddy, I am 5 ft 11 and this scooter was perfect for me in everyway. I'm not sure of the measurements as I sold it to my friend who also loves it. You say your 1.70 m I make that about 5ft 5 if i'm right then it might be abit high for you.

    Would you do some range tests? One in slowest mode to see true max range and then one how most people would ride daily? I’m thinking about buying one of these after winter

      I have both the 18.2ah Mantis Pro and the Mantis King GT. They get the same range of about 30 miles. I am kind of disappointed. I was hoping with 24ah sine wave, my Mantis King GT would get at least 40 miles.

    • @escootersfpvrides2723
      @escootersfpvrides2723  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@108mtsan Thanks for the info mate I am going to do a range test myself soon, what is the volage cut of point please and have you gotton any more than 43mph out of it on gps?

    • @108mtsan
      @108mtsan ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@escootersfpvrides2723 Both the Mantis have a cutoff voltage of 48 volts. The minimotors display of the Mantis Pro is accurate in terms of GPS and I got 41mph top speed max on it. The TFT display on the Mantis King however, isn’t accurate and shows a higher than normal speed/distance. I didn’t test the top speed on that though.
      But from phone GPS measurements, the true mileage compared to what is shown on the TFT display is 90% only. So if on your Mantis King GT, you are traveling 10mph, in reality you are only going 9mph. If you are going 20mph, you are only going a true 18mph. And if you get a range of 40 miles, in reality you are only getting 36 miles (40x0.9=36)

    How did you clean the Mantis after that rugged wet ride? Can it handle pressure washer?

    • @escootersfpvrides2723
      @escootersfpvrides2723  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure if it can handle a pressure washer, I just used a damp rag and one of those bottles that sprays water then I apply some gt 85 to help prevent rust.

    Hi E Scooter Rides..... How do you find the Mantis King GT for trails / light off road in terms of comfort, performance & reliability? I am looking for a dedicated trail option just NOT a beast (Wolf King GTR, etc) due to the hefty associated pricetag

    • @escootersfpvrides2723
      @escootersfpvrides2723  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Well it definitely has comfort performance & reliability, just sold mine to a mate and he is loving it. it does ok off road . I have had 44 mph out of it on a gps. I got the daultron thunder 3 now thats why I sold mine.

    anyone know how this is compared to the solar ff lite?

  • @Bobbrians
    @Bobbrians 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is promotional and does not represent real ownership, don't be dumb.
    There are three large holes in the front area of the deck and the side led lights have no protection against water, if you try this with your Mantis GT you will screw something up, no one will warranty it and no one will feel sorry for you in the forums.
    Modification to the deck is required if you want to ride in wet conditions, the motors also will allow water intrusion and corrosion will form inside the motor housing.causing premature failure.

    • @escootersfpvrides2723
      @escootersfpvrides2723  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Well there is no problems with mine, and I do ride mine in wet conditions, so stop being rude and if you have a problem have ago at the guys that makes and sales the bloody things and not me.

      No, YOU stop telling people to do things that will damage their scooter, it is pure dumb luck that you have gotten away with it for this long. I have had these units apart for service and know their weaknesses.

      @@Bobbrians I have'nt told anyone anything if you watch the video again you will see that I set out to do a speed run, I caught out with the rain. Not once did I mention that this scooter was fine to ride in wet condition. In fact I said lets see if this scooter will get me home, which it did. it's not my fault if people are having problems I just share my experiences.
