Out of these three choices I would choose Red Deer. 1. You are relatively close to both Calgary and Edmonton. 2. You have less traffic and less travel time between home and work than in a big city.
Lethbridge is an hour and a half from Calgary which includes a pit stop in Nanton for a cuppa. I know this as I've recently driven to and from Calgary for many medical appointments.
With all the building happening around Airdrie/Calgary, there are a lot of construction jobs in this area! They're also building a decent amount in Red Deer & Lethbridge, but not quite as much as here.
Is it true that Alberta towns aren't able to keep up with the influx and can't develop the infrastructure?? Road congestion, lack of medical services, electrical grid, water service, erc ??
It’s fairly true to most places in Alberta right now yes. Lots of population growth in a short amount of time means that it will take some time for infrastructure to catch up. Definitely more road construction and less doctors per capita than we’re used to. Only 1 scare with the electrical but nothing came of it, and the current water situation is due to a main water feed break in Calgary. Once that’s fixed we should be okay again
@spawn11, some of the reasons you’ll find in this video, while others can be found on other videos on my channel such as “Pros & Cons of living in Airdrie, AB”. Thanks for watching!
I really like living in Sylvan Lake. Location close to Red Deer, Calgary and Edmonton cannot be beat. All these places are good but Sylvan Lake is very, very nice.
Comment below which city is your favourite! ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Gonna go ahead and put my vote in for Lethbridge. ❤
I’d expect nothing less Murray! Thanks for watching and commenting 👌🏼

Once Calgary market gets saturated! Lethbridge and Reindeer will be on fire 🔥 for sure
Yup this is definitely likely to happen as Airdrie/Calgary continues to grow!
Lethbridge #1
Lethbridge is okay.. 😏
Airdrie for sure
I’d have to agree 😅
Why?
Cochrane is closer to the mountains and very close to Calgary.
Looking at moving to Lethbridge. Concerned about crime rate. Are there areas in Lethbridge that are more prevalent than others?
Yes. Ask a local. There are 2 spots id advise against. North end of 13th st and 2nd ave north area
I have a great agent in Lethbridge that I can recommend if you like! Send me an email or text and we can chat about it 👌🏼
What about jobs and construction ?

Airdrie is more like a suburb of Calgary.
It’s definitely not that far away from Calgary!

@@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor How can they possibly have the Stampede if it will raise water usage?! Are they crazy?
@@dovygoodguy1296 don’t have an answer for you on that one! I tend to stay out of Calgary problems, and stick to Airdrie 😅
Airdrie
I’d have to agree with you Lukas!
Airdrine won this one
I agree! 👌🏼
Live anywhere not in Alberta. I specifically hate living in Methbridge and can't wait to leave. Alberta is the laughingstock of Canada.
Where are you off to next??
@brad.walker.airdrie.realtor Spain
None.
Where is a better fit for you?
Airdrie no.1 city to live. The best city in Alberta to live is Airdrie
Why?
Totally agree! Thanks for watching and commenting 😁
