- Yet from My Epic has become a cornerstone of the band’s discography. The record turned 10 this year and My Epic had planned an extensive tour to celebrate. Now that plans have had to change, My Epic have decided to celebrate the album’s 10th anniversary by releasing an updated mix of the fan-favorite song “Lower Still,” accompanied by a video. The song boasts a remix by long-time collaborator Matt Goldman, and new vocal tracks from the band’s good friend Levi The Poet.
Of the new “Lower Still” mix, Aaron Stone says: “It’s not a better version; just a different one, but we hope people will enjoy it. We are so thankful for all the friends and experiences that we’ve had and look forward to what lies ahead. Yet is a record that means a lot to us and we have been so thankful to hear how much it’s meant to others over the years.”
These words! THE TRUTH IN THESE WORDS! Every time I listen to this song, I cry out in worship! What Jesus did for us!!!! WOW!!!!!!

This song had me sobbing the first time I heard it. Such a powerful message of just how much our Savior loves us. I’m so unworthy. Thank you my Lord Jesus.

I seriously just got filled with the Holy Spirit listening to this song!!! All their music is powerful, but the Glory of God is on this one, absolutely beautiful and glorifying!! JESUS!!!!!!!!
This is the first time I heard this song. I just want to say that when I was a kid/teen growing up in the Assembly of God church in the 2000s I wish I had heard more music like this. Music like this did exist back in the day but it scared the hell out of the older/mid life and older Assembly members. To any youth pastor that reads this: do understand your battle is showing that there is godly music that is an alternative to modern ungodly music.

I felt like Levi was channeling some Aaron Weiss vibes, which I can totally get behind!
I’ve been listening and following since the Broken Voice EP and finally got to see you guys in Portland at the For Today farewell tour. I’ve always been impressed with the theological depth and integrity not just of Aaron’s lyricism, but the band’s outlook on songwriting in general. I still love watching the studio documentaries and seeing that process of asking “what does the song need” for that reason. I love watching live performances and listening to interviews because of that reason. You are worshipping artists, and that is reflected not just in your art, but in how you discuss your art between the songs.
In ya’ll I’ve seen a passionate and sincere pursuit of the Creator, which has definitely encouraged my own pursuit of Christ through the years. And for that, all I can say is thank you.

You guys came to Murray Hill Theatre in Jax Fl maybe 13 to 15 years ago. I was playing in a band called Red Letter Bullet and got to meet you guys in between sets. Y’all don’t know the impact you guys had on me. You are one of the only bands that I actually saw Christ in and it convicted me and made me want to be more like you guys. Thank you guys for your life changing music and living what you sing. You will never know this side of eternity all the seeds that you are planting in peoples hearts like mine. I don't understand how this is a remix; it sounds basically the same as the original version - just with a different vocalist for the one verse (which was frankly not as good as the vocalist on the original version, to be honest)...
This song is so powerful! So sick a “loving god” would force this upon his only son to go through. I used to think it was a testament to Jesus’s love for me now I can only pity him for having to go through this at the behest of his father
Love this band but Levi is too pretentious for me. Like way too pretentious. I can't get jiggy with spoken word. I'll stick to the original but thanks anyways.
