She's just the greatest thing that's happened to music, her whole persona is just off the charts, she's without all the pretence that unfortunately plagues the mainstream, she's very unscripted, always expect the unexpected with MORISSETTE because her own band don't know what she's going to do but she hits the mark every single time, her consistency is unmatched 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.
It makes me wonder how at a very young age Morissette has gotten all that music in her head. She has survived all the tests, from surgery on her throat to being snubbed by judges at those singing contests. When she covers a song she elevated the song to her higher version. There are so many talented singers in the Philippines and the world for that matter. Morissette is a different kind. She can convey emotions like no other singer I've heard, its not just belt outs and high notes. I've never cried in my whole life from listening to a singer before. And, her versatility is unequaled. She can sing in any genre. Also, Morissette is probably the greatest example of how the modern electronic age influences your art. From karaoke, to watching the internet to buying records. She doesn't have the culture of a Motown to be familiar with, just from watching performances. The best thing of a Morissette performance is the opening notes, the worst is when she hits the last one. Morissette is a drug ingested through your ears and your eyes. Once you'll hear her you keep asking for more, and to me I just like to hear music coming from her, how she interprets it. She is quite a phenomenon in our time!
