The song "I Still Love You" is a song she wrote and dedicated to her estrange father, the man disowned his daughter because she married the man of her dreams, the love of her life. It is a very sad story line and to this day he (the father) refuse to have anything to do with her, he didn't even allow Mori mother and brother attend her wedding. Queen Mori is a rare gem and one of the sweetest person in the world she absolutely loves her fans and is always around them without fear. She is dearly loved in the Philippines and now around the world as well. The EP Signature has 5 songs that includes I Still Love You is a phenomenal EP you should check out the entire EP you will not regret it

Mori is so versatile she can change her voice to fit almost any song and every time she sings she surprises you. Rock. broadway, pop ,gospel. R&B, huge diva ballads, she Slays them all.

Mori performed Gento with AC in her recent concert. Stell has long wanted to do a collab with her. There was a time when SB19 met her and they were fanboying over her.

This Love You Still video was shot during the Covid lockdown and she and her husband Dave wrote it together, the song has a deep meaning as its pertaining to her broken relationship with her father. Also she did a sunset version of this song that is even more slower pace as well as a live band version that is just as awesome.

Did you know that SB19, especially Stell, are big fans of Morissette? Well, great singers emulates great singers. She is 27 years old now and have been in the music industry for more than 10 years. During her performance in the 2017 Asia Song Festival held in South Korea, representing the Philippines, she has been given the nickname "Asia's Phoenix". 🔥🥰
You have a great line-up here in this RV. These are some of the best performances and all-time favorites for Morissette reactions.
1. "Akin Ka Na Lang" is my most favorite Wish Bus performance. It's her original, written by Francis Salazar. This song will be Mori's legacy, just like "My Heart Will Go On" is to Celine Dion, and "I Will Always Love You" is to Whitney Houston. In the Wish Bus performance in 2018, Mori showcased her arsenal of vocal talents, from the sweet Disney princess-like tone, to her powerful belts, squeaks, growls, and her whistle notes. Those whistle notes are so clear and forward and sounds magical, like the mythical bird phoenix. And did you notice her belts are full, rich, not shrilly or screechy and annoying, but are gorgeous, and she is not struggling or straining in reaching those notes. She even looks gorgeous and stunning even when belting. 🥰
2. "Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw" is a broken-hearted song, written by Sheryn Regis. It was made to be a part of the OST of "The Broken Marriage Vow" and the show producers chose Morissette to do the rendition. It was her version that got so popular and viral. You watched her Wish Bus performance and now you know why. It's gotta be one of the most difficult OPM songs as it demands a lot from the singer in terms of continuous belting and portraying of emotions, and Mori nailed it, with her intense and powerful rendition. By the way, did you notice that the sponsor of this Wish Bus performance was"Puregold", the same brand that Justin of SB19 is endorsing.
3. "Love You Still" is Morissette's first immersion into songwriting. She co-wrote it with her now-husband Dave Lamar during the pandemic. They also self-produced the official music video. There is actually a sad story in Mori's life behind that song. You will get to know that as you continue to get to know more about Mori and her music. This song together with four others, "Phoenix", "Will You Stay", "Mirror" and "Trophy", all written by Dave and Mori, are in her "Signature" EP. I hope you will get to react to all of them.
4. "Never Enough" cover by Morissette is, for me, the best rendition of that song that it is even better than the original. That crescendo that Mori did in the end was not in the original, but afterwards it has been the standard for any other cover. Morissette sang this recently during David Foster and Friends concert tour in Manila. Please check it out, I recommend the Day 1 when she was in blue gown.
5. "So Close" was written by Sponge Cola, a Filipino rock band formed in the early 2000's, and they invited Mori for the collaboration. Please check also the OMV, it sounds a bit different as it is more on the harmonization and vocal layering, and it was not live like in the Wish Bus, but it's also a good one.

Can you please react to her Signature EP. This is the era when she try to write her own song (with the help of her husband Dave Lamar). It has 5 songs, Phoenix, Love you still, Mirror, Will you stay and Trophy. She had: a live band version of that 5 songs, also a RX Monster Radio version of also the 5 songs. I have never heard 'So Close' before. I don't know that singer but he REALLY reminds me of Jon Bon Jovi for his vocal style.
So Close is a fairly new song from a few months ago.... Spongecola is an alternative rock band from back in the early 2000s.

And Morissette is singing that power song sitting down with her legs crossed like she is at a damn Tea Party. Incredible. The lyrics are equally powerful. Google the English lyrics. Her music video "Phoenix" by Morrissette is also very inspiration and great. Don't forget her music video "Naririnig Mo Ba," watch the Wish Bus version first because it has lyrics. However, the music video tells the real story of the song with a surprise ending.
My favorite version of "Love You Still" is the "sunset version" which opens with a cello solo. This version is very emotional and filmed in b/w; Mori get very emotional at the end of the song.

Morri performed 'Never Enough' at live shows. One such performance in particular is labeled '(Highest Version)' in the video title. I think that stage may have been on a Mother's Day, or some other similar emotional occasion (but I could be wrong).
Anyway, whatever was going on with Morri that day, she was 'extra emotional' and she DESTROYED that song while she CRIED! Standing ovation lasted a few minutes.
People already knew about her, they paid to come hear her sing, they already knew what she could do because she had performed the song before. NOBODY was expecting her to do THAT with the song. AMAZING.

Yes it was her mother's day concert where she did the greatest ever rendition of this song, her mother was in the audience and she did a performance of wind beneath my wings and she cried all the way through the song because of the sacrifices her mother made for her in pursuit of her music, she moved with her from her hometown of Cebu Philippines to Manila Philippines at the age of 14yrs, please check out her EP SIGNATURE she co-wrote and co-produced with her husband DAVE LAMAR, the live band performances are absolutely vocal suicide for anyone to even think about trying to cover, the 5 songs are LOVE YOU STILL, PHOENIX, TROPHY, WILL YOU STAY and MIRROR, absolutely EPIC, the guy on guitar in these performances is the guy who helped mix the original recordings of this magnificent EP, his name is XERGIO RAMOS, yet another extraordinary talented Filipino ARTIST, her husband DAVE LAMAR does all the videography, her digital concert she did is another must watch, she was meant to do this concert live but the pandemic put paid to that so she went for the next best thing, she has is on her TH-cam channel in 5 parts, it's the best exhibition of vocals and performing that you will ever ever see 🇬🇧🔥👌❤️.

You are certainly right, Gusto Ko nang Bumitaw was that song also covered by YesMyLove. Even Mori's version is a cover, the original was sung by Sheryn Regis. This song is one song many of the power belters love to sing. There is a version where Mori sung it with a live band, and I believe that has english cc, so you can follow along.
Mori has such a huge music library, so make a playlist ❤ One of my favorites is her cover of the song 'Could You Be Messiah', her duet with Darren Espanto of 'A Whole New World', her duet with Daryl Ong for 'You Are The Reason' ; her duet with Arnel Pineda for ' I Finally Found Someone;

They started calling her Asia's Phoenix at the Asian Song Festival in Korea several years ago, and she has said that she likes the nickname because she feels that she has risen from the ashes of some early-career setbacks. Also, she wrote "Love You Still" for her father, with whom she is estranged. If I remember correctly, her family would/does not accept her husband, for some reason.
