I thin every machine or piece of equipment has its place, and that set up will make money. I like it I bought a 14’ dump trailer and look8ng to buy a smaller tracer like a bx. Good video, enjoyed it.
Good timing on this video, I am researching dump trailers for my BX23S. I have 1 ton truck with a 13,025 GVWR, a 14' trailer has 14,000 GVWR & puts me over 26,001 which would require a CDL. I don't operate a business, so i really don't need a CDL. If the BX23S will fit in a 12' trailer (12,000 lb.) I'd be under the 26,001 requirement, but it sure seems silly that I have to select a smaller trailer, so I don't have to jump through the hoops of the required CDL.
Update - I asked the trailer dealership if I can buy a 12,000 lb GVWR 14' trailer. They said they can talk to the manufacture and issue a new title and nameplate for an existing 14' - 14,000 lb GVWR to downgrade it to a 12,000 lb trailer (even though the axles are rated for 14,000 lb.). I didn't know that they could do that. - I ended up ordering a 14' - 12,000 lb gooseneck Sure-Trac - should arrive this month (October).
That was a great fit and the ease of loading and unloading was super. I do like the dump trailer idea for trailering my subcompact from point A to point B without any issues. I have a Massey GC1710 w/ backhoe and your video gave me an idea of how a subcompact would fit in a 14 foot trailer.
@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead So far it's been great. I use it predominantly for hauling trailers on the land and a whole lot of mowing. I want to get a 3rd function so I can put a small grapple on the front. Thanks again for the video.
that dump trailer is something that bi have wanted for a long time. i lucked out. my buddy bought 2 of them so i can use his anytime i need it. the only catch is, he rents them out so if i have it and somebody wants to rent it, i pay him rent or drop what im doing and take it home.
My BX23s fits in my open 6x12 no issues. I put the button on top of the front rail and I put the backhoe over top of the rear lift gate been doing it for years.
Great Video and Here is a tip for you: I raise my bucket and lower or it tilt the bucket down so that the top and bottom are parallel you gain almost a foot of forward travel. I don't have to swing the back hoe boom and keep it travel locked. Keep the videos coming!
I’ve got a 16 foot Lamar dump trailer and I can fit my bx23s in with the pallet forks on and swing the bucket over. I put the bucket on top of the forks and I’m ready to go
Yeah the right answer is really different for everyone so I figured this is something that would help folks get an idea of what to expect. A dump trailer would be nice for sure!
When loading or unloading a trailer like that it is very important to prevent the trailer from lifting the rear end of the truck. It only takes a small amount of lift on a slope to release the traction provided by the rear wheels of the truck. If the truck and trailer are on a slop the whole kit can roll up or down the slope freely. Loading and unloading on level ground is always good practice - th-cam.com/video/5iy0E1gKQn8/w-d-xo.html. As always, I enjoy your adventures and comments - play safe with the roll bar up and the seatbelt on!.
Fit like a glove! We need a dump trailer at PG! Tractor Hard! 🚜💪!
Yes you do! Would be so handy!

Heck yea man, we load em in those all the time, seem to do just fine.
Nice trailers for sure!
That BX was a perfect fit I really enjoyed making that video with you Lucas!
Same here, Man!

Oh yeah! How you like that Massey? I’ve heard good things.

Dump trailers a definitely versatile. I wish i would’ve bought one of those instead of a regular utility trailer.
I could put one to good use for sure!
Let's say I got the cart before the horse I really injoy your show keep up the great work
lol. It happens! Thanks for watching! 👊

You could probably get the Bx23 in a 12’ unit if you adjusted the bucket.good vid tx.
Probably so.
You can. I have been doing it for years on my open 6x12 utility trailer.

That ain’t going nowhere. Benefit of a small machine like that. Is it fits where mine wouldn’t
New Sub Here
PJ Dump Trailers are a solid choice for multiple applications 👍
I use it often

No that is an awesome setup! I like to hear the combinations people are using.
Nice, I’m debating between a 14’ dump trailer, or a 20’ car hauler.
My current 10’ trailer can only haul the bare tractor.

👍. Подскажите как называется эксковаторная установка? Чтобы её найти отдельно в интернете.
Lucas: I see a dump trailer coming to your driveway soon. Take care and stay safe.
Sure would be handy!!!
Try a 10 ft
If I could get access to mine, I would!
