@@GreenandGrain I use borax dissolved in hot water added to it as the plants need it cuz it’s boron. And use the water daily on plants like the potted plants that are away from the regular watering source. Then the summer months I need to empty it once a month to clean refill and add more borax dissolved in hot water. Like a cup to a gallon.
What do you think of pea gravel patios? I am on a 5 year home renovation journey so my funds are pretty tied up with that. But, I have a sweet little yard that I have been putting in all the pretties and I would love to have an area to put a table and chairs so I can enjoy my yard. I would love your thoughts on that, thank you!
is there a standard width one should use for pathways? I want to add an arbor with a climbing rose but want to make sure I can still comfortably use the pathway next to the arbor (not under) with out being pricked by rose thorns.
Primary walkways should be a minimum of 4' wide (4-6') to accommodate two people walking side by side. One person passthrough would be 2-3' for a non primary walkway. But, if there are thorns etc I would go wider than these numbers, ouch!
@@PrettyPurpleDoor thanks for the tips. If I have 40" inches between the arbor and the garden bed do you think that's enough space to add a rose against the arbor to grown onto of the arbor for NON primary walkway, or would I regret it because of the thorns?

I bought a 300 gallon water trough so on hot days I can dip and also scoop up a watering can for outliers like pots small trees and such.

Good solution, very cost effective. But difficult / hard work to remove it later.
Just make sure you do it correctly so it holds up 😊

Any pitfalls with drift roses. I’m thinking about including these in my landscape
