Hi Steph (and Steph’s viewers), thanks for including me. A great group of channels here, including some I haven’t seen before and I’m looking forward to checking out!
Recommending cottage garden-style, "The Perennial Garden" with Allen & Lars Wildes in Fredericia, Denmark; zone 8 (Allen is originally from southern Georgia, USA). You will love them, I PROMISE you!!
Thank you so much for including me! What a great list, and what an undertaking to put this together. I love how different all of these gardens are and looking forward to watching my friends grow 😊
You certainly have nothing to be embarrassed about - you should be proud of the gorgeous gardens you've created, and your tips and information are very valuable. I especially like the format of your videos: not too long, lots of luscious visual content, and concise and clear talk. Love watching you and George work together (Dream Team!) to fulfill your landscape vision. Kudos!
Hey Steph & George! You totally deserve to be in the number 2 spot! I love it and watch every one! Congratulations and thanks for this poll. Very interesting!
You mention some of my faves plus some new ones I’ll have to start watching! You are still number one with me. I get so happy when I see a new video from you. It’s because of your lovely smile, positive attitude and joy in all you do. It’s contagious!
Great job, Steph and George! I love your channel and style. And I'm glad that Northlawn Flower Farm rated highly...Danielle is such a truly complete gardener and has such innate style. Plus, she is just so genuine. My favorite gardening channel. I love Garden Queen who gardens near St. Louis...she is a natural, instinctive gardener and has so much personality...just love her. Being a garden designer in San Francisco, I always see what Janey is up to in Davis, CA.
If you like the whimsical in your garden another great channel for that is Moxie Garden. His garden is beautiful AND he creates areas in his garden that one might think fairies and gnomes would inhabit. It’s really quite cute ! ❄️⛄️💚🙃
Thank you so much for this video! There were several gardeners that I didn't know about whom I'm now subscribed to! I've literally just started my own channel this year! I've been gardening for over a decade. My gardening style has evolved to a more a natural style (100% organic) and I love to show the local wildlife that shares my garden space with me. I'm looking forward to learn about how to record and edit videos from watching these great channels. Steph, I love you guys because I'm in MA also, and you're one of the first channels that I found who was gardening in the same zone as me!
Steph, you are so amazing and humble. You have a beautiful intro to all the gardeners, thanks for all the work you and George put in, and looking forward to the gardening year with you both.
Nice job Steph and George! I do not agree with all the channels listed but I do understand that each viewer has specific interests so to each their own. Your content is right up my alley. ❤
You absolutely earned your place in this list. You have created a beautiful garden! I was pleased to see all my top favorites made it to this list. I love how the gardening community is so supportive of each other. Thank you both for providing this wonderful opportunity to check out new channels.
Thanks for this great video! A few years ago more You Tube gardeners highlighted other channels and I've missed that. I'm so glad Olga Carmody made your top 20. She's a super-smart master gardener with a special interest in David Austin roses. I especially love her tours of private gardens we'd never see otherwise.
I must be a gardener because I’m either subscribed or have watched all of them 😂 I love these videos because you get to discover or rediscover great gardening content.
Fantastic list! I have to say the Garden community is the best! I was surprised that I watch every single one of those awesome channels except for one new one to check out. Thanks so much for sharing this!
I was so excited to see the results post and I am not surprised at all of the top 2! Congratulations!!! I can appreciate all of the time and effort that went into this video - great job to you both - it’s BEAUTIFUL! I really enjoyed watching and I found some new gardeners to follow. Have a beautiful weekend 😍
Congratulations to the Top 20. I’m looking forward to watching some new channels I didn’t know about. As a landscape designer I really appreciate watching and getting inspiration from everyone and sharing the compassion. Thank you for putting this together.
🙏 Thank you for doing all this! I started gardening in 2021 & this list is a great resource. You can tell it was a true labor of love. I’ve been following you, & a few others on the list. I can’t wait to check out the other channels. I love that you go to the local stores & show us what may be available. Keep up the good work Stef & George!
Great list and work, I follow them almost all 🤗 the only one missing here is Guiding Green Thumbs! Shelley has the most beautiful shade garden I ever saw, and her vigour is infectuous 💚
I am also a fan of guiding green thumbs and surprised she didn't make the list. She and her husband recently bought a farm. She tirelessly is working towards creating a flower farm. It is so neat to see how far she has come. She has the most beautiful day lillies and hosta's and so much more. Her garden combinations are beautiful. She doesn't use any pesticides or herbicides, which I admire. The list is incomplete without her.
I enjoyed this so much! Thank you to you and George for doing the research. I love watching you and George, Linda Vater, Laura, and Janie. My top favorites. I will check out some of the others. I live in Florida so I also like watching Jack Barnwell. I love to see how you acknowledge and support others. You guys are a class act. ❤
Have no idea how you did all the work for this one, but it is such a great idea! I watch many of the channels featured! You two are very much appreciated!!
, yes,, you definitely need to check out Linda Vater. She’s awesome and such a good conversationalist. Her videos are never boring, and she’s great with tips and tricks of things for the garden and living a gardening lifestyle. I love her!💚
Steph and George, thank you for your hard work and introducing us to new gardeners. Congratulations to all!👩🌾👨🏻🌾 Never seize to be amazed at the beautiful gardens in zone 6/7 …. dealing with deer 🦌 pressure, snow ❄️, humidity, rabbits 🐇, etc… It was nice to see zone 9 👩🌾👨🏻🌾 . No matter where you are I learn so much. Thank you Love from California zone 9b❤
This was a great video! You and George did an excellent professional job of pulling all the content together. I follow each of the channels but two. I will definitely be checking out those two. Isn’t it neat to know that Jes has started a channel for her music?! Most of the channels are not large like Garden Answer, but I enjoy every one of them. Some I stumbled on like Jes, Dig, Plant, Water, Repeat, and Hooked and Rooted. Watching HortTube led me to Gardening with Creekside, etc. I enjoy everyone’s content and all the beautiful gardens they have. It’s so interesting and inspiring to learn what others are doing in their gardens, and I always learn new things. I’ve gardened for over 50 years, and I’m still learning. I have to confess that I envy those who garden without the heavy pressure of deer and rabbits that I have. Thank you for sharing your gardening knowledge and your beautiful garden. Kudos also to your multitalented garden assistant George. He’s a great partner for you in making your garden such a lovely place.
Thanks Steph for taking the time to put this together. Very informative and you also reminded me of a few channels I forgot about. Thanks to you George. It was excellent.
Congratulations Steph and George. Love all the garden channels who were part of the survey you posted. Thanks to both of you for taking the time to show each of the gardens/gardeners and processing of the survey. Well done!
Thanks Steph and George for all the hard work you did to create this great video. I watch almost all of the channels on this list. And now I have a few more to check out too.
I really appreciate these recommendations - especially your efforts in compiling all the responses! As I am a professional ornamental gardener in z5b/6a Massachusetts, I spend most of my time following gardeners in zones 4-6b with all garden styles. These channels typically feature similar soil/weather conditions and offer plant selections/combinations that work in my and my friends' gardens.
Fantastic video! Thank you for all your hard work putting it together. Don't be embarrassed be proud, you work hard and deserve to be noticed. Thank you again. 🌼
WOW, i just want to say "thank you" to you and George for putting this together. It sure does show the love for gardens you both have. I am subscribed to 19 of them and enjoy everyone of them. Even though i live in zone 3b/4a (Canada) i still watch these channels and have learnt so much and incorporated ideas in my own garden.
Thank you for the push to look for more channels to watch. For those leaning native, I would also suggest Grow it Build It as a resource is it updated regularly? No. But his videos IMHO are really helpful because he not only talks about how to grow from seed but also their ecological/wildlife value
Hi Steph and George, I can’t believe I missed your post with the poll! But the video you put together was so worth your time. I already follow most of these gardeners, and I’m happy to learn of more that I can check out. Thank you!
I’ve been following and learning from every single TH-cam channel on this list!!! These channels have brought me so much joy especially after the holiday season. I always leave so inspired. These channels have helped me on my self-care journey.
I watch some of these, including yours, of course, but I do try to search for gardens across the world, too. I'm a great believer in diversity, and it is always interesting to see the problems gardeners are facing in various countries and climates and how they deal with them. Thanks for sharing.
Hey Steph & George! 😊 Just loved this video! Thanks for sharing the results & helping our gardening community find even more great content. Amazing editing job & appreciated all the hard work you guys put into this for all of us. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Keep doing what you do & so happy for how far your channel has come along…you completely deserve your high ranking. As I’ve mentioned before, you’re my absolute fav # 1 gardening channel! 💯 Enjoy your weekend! 😉
Always a pleasure, Steph and George. Well done. Your coments on each channel were interesting and upbeat. I garden in California zone 9b so I always have to watch other channels bearing in mind what will or will not work in my garden. But getting inspriation from you and others is really fun.
Loved that you did this. I watch all of these. Hard to pick a favorite although I am partial to Linda Vater since she lives near me and I even have plants from her old garden. I noticed her garden long before I started watching gardening videos. Linda really inspired me to start a garden in my backyard. So I started with Linda but now get so much knowledge from all of these folks. One of my absolute faves is Laura at How’s It Growing. Not on the list but so worth watching her. She does all herself and so do I so she is truly inspiring. Oh And Jay’s Garden Journal. She will get you going on no dig beds which works so well for me. Thanks again!!!!! 🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱❤️🌱
Well deserved Steph! So many good channels listed that I'm sure we can all agree we've learned so much from. I found you Steph a few years ago when I was learning how to winter sow. ❤
Yes, we enjoyed!! Thank you for all the work to make this video. I love watching you-tube gardeners, and you listed a lot of my favorites! I did learn of a few more to check out. I also really like The Middle Size Gardener. She's across the pond, so not sure if she qualified for your poll.
I filled out your poll, but had since forgotten about it, so this was a fun surprise! Thanks for gathering all the information and presenting it so well. I regularly follow everyone in the top 10, but have watched videos from all the channels mentioned…except #20. I’ll have to check out her channel. Thanks again Steph!
What a great resource for new content. Some of these channels are new to me, so that will fun to explore. Some I watch for knowledge and some for inspiration.
Steph and George...Great video and congratulations on being #2!! I've learned so much from you and enjoy all of your content. I also learned from you recently to purchase the chocolate croissant from Trader Joe's and I'm having one tomorrow!!! It's cold here in Texas and today I will be rewatching most of your videos even though we are in different zones. You may have to come and visit to help me sow all the seeds I purchased last year after one of your garden tours. I'm very excited. We have a lot of heat and humidity so we'll see. Again...thank you so much for doing this video and for your channel. Can't wait until spring!

Garden Moxie is great! So is Rosy Hardy and Middle Sized Garden in UK. Both great!!

Rosy Hardy Gardening too. Nobody on TH-cam has more knowledge about perennials than her.
I wrote her in. She's very good

Wow! Great recommendations! And the timing is perfect. I love to get ideas for the spring and summer garden. Thanks for sharing!
What an excellent video. You guys worked so hard. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much Darcey!
This was a GREAT video. Thank you both for taking the time. I know and visit about half of them. Now I have more to explore.
