It's no more an amazing family. In the past I could connect with his love songs because it felt like he sang them for his wife of 25 years. He was one of the few artists who had a stable family life. Now all that aura is gone. He has divorced his wife of 25 years who bore three beautiful sons and sacrificed her acting, dancing, and singing career to raise the kids so that Richard marx could reach his full potential in his singing career. Without any gratitude he has taken another wife and gloating about it. Now all of a sudden his songs feel empty and does not stir that same emotion in me anymore. Very sad.
Thank you so much for saying that. I have been wanting to say it for a while now, but I thought I would get slammed. Poor Cynthia, I feel for her. If that was my dad, talent or not, I would have disconnected from him. I used to LOVE his music, but that's about gone . Thanks again for posting.
