Maaaan... that thick cloud deck at the beginning, the shadowing of the clouds themselves. For all those decades I have been into flight sims, this kind of realism was always missing in past simulators. I can't believe we can have this level of visuals in realtime on our PC's at home. Weather depiction in MSFS can be so stunning, it is what me always fascinated me about flying and never get bored of. And of course another educational banger you posted here Emanuel. Thanks for these valuable tips! Keep it up! :)
Love these shorter format videos! Absolutely great because they really get to the point of the video and take no time to watch thus if you need to check how to do smth quickly while doing a flight it's really great. Always wondered how to extend the centerline and now i know! Thank you very much!
I use the extended centreline almost every flight, I find it gives a good situational awareness prompt, particularly, as you mentioned, when you're being given vectors. Great video, keep them coming!
Great videos, thanks for sharing. Just for info airbus updated their FCOM a little while back to clarify nav availability in the go around is not related to flight plan sequencing, from a recent summary of changes -“Update of the content as the previous content was inaccurate. In fact, the availability of NAV mode after GO-AROUND is not linked to the F-PLN SEQUENCING.” References to way point sequencing and nav have been subsequently removed. Still a good idea to have way points correctly sequenced though👍
Hi, I'm currently working on my settings again, when I bought my laptop it completly deleted my previous settings (and their backups). When I'm done with it I'll put it into a video!
How to plan for a shortcut on longer arrivals in the A320? And how to do it without SEC FPL (FBW)? In B737 you can just edit the route temporarily and set the altitude planned by FMC, Airbus makes it more difficult!
Unless I've mistaken what you're showing here, this is done differently in the FBW. You click the topmost left key in the F-PLN list, click FIX INFO, specify the target then you can add range rings too.
is there a way to arm nav mode so that the plane will intercept the radial from your course on its own? also I seem to remember an mcdu trick to do with intercepting a track of a from to leg... Id love to learn more tricks like these for airbus
Do you have a suggestion how to do that in the FBW 320 as it does not support the radial in function? Thank you, your videos are very valuable for flying the 320!
These shorter smaller turorials are superb. Really enjoying these. Stops me from feeling overwhelmed. Love the detail and focus on one matter.
Ive said the same. Great format for many of us. Very direct tutorial for specific topics

This is great guidance. I have been going to the fix page and manually adding the reverse course from the FAF. This is even easier. Thank you!

I really like your recent videos, an educational content with a friendly tone

Could you share your graphics settings in a video? The visuals look amazing in this one!

What a coincidence! I was literally looking for how to do this last night 😂
Thank you for all these videos! 🎉
Love these short tutorials, thanks
Great video, thanks a los for yogur explanations, you are a great pilot and a better person!
What's missing to make it complete : The howto draw the centerline 😊

It was more than interesting! as usual
Can you make a tutorial on how to make waypoints on both Airbus + Boeing? It would be extremely helpful

The clouds looks niceee!!! Any modify?
Great video
What the difference between the way you demonstrate this vs Using the Fix option ?
I always ectend the centerline with the fix info

I can’t find the Boeing Video
Do you have a suggestion how to do that in the FBW 320 as it does not support the radial in function? Thank you, your videos are very valuable for flying the 320!
You can achieve this in the Fix option as I do in the FBW
Hi can you help me to install it?
cool.. does this doable on FBW A320?
Can I use it during the VOR approaches?
Sure
I just use the fix page its much easier
And what do you do if you need to go around and your flight plan is not sequenced?
@@A330Driver I do it all over again lol
