Being a general pool servant has no real advantage over limited, sure you can get spooks or you can go for higher chances on actual rate up banners. The last time I got anything worthwhile from a spook was Artoria np1 over 2 years ago, everything since then has been someone who is generally pretty bad or just plain worthless for my account. Of course this is only from my own experience, but spooks are not a reliable source of new SSRs as the pool getting larger and larger lowers the chances of getting a specific spook.
There are 27 SSRs right now and the chance you have to Nito in a spook is a 3.7% chance.
The chance of getting a spook and for that spook being Nito is 0.037%
That is so unfathomably low that to rely on either of those numbers to get extra copies of her right now without rate up is ridiculous. In the future when we get more permanent servants the numbers will be even lower.
Yes SSR tickets can null that chance all together, but who's to say when we'll get another SSR ticket?
She may not be the best but she is easily the coolest looking.

Honestly I think her release is just to give non-whales or new players a chance of doing multi-core and castoria farming. Because for Spishtar, Kama and Ibuki they might not always have reruns or summoning campaigns. So you would technically have a (very small) chance of pulling a good arts farmer in the general pool. Also she will probably be available in the ssr ticket in a few years.😂
They have been giving options to non-whales for a while now. Tasui, Summer Valks, Iyo etc. All better than Nito. And spooks are not easy to come by unless you're a whale.
@@kun2588 Spooks are defs hard. But since Nito isn’t limited, she will probably have more summoning campaigns compared to Spishtar, Musashi, Kama, Kiara, Ibuki for example. And eventually she will be in the SSR ticket.

@@ningen6392 Honestly, if that's you're argument, I think saving up all your quartz and wait for a banner with a more premium Arts farmer is better than rolling on every banner praying for a Nito spook. An NP1 Spishtar outperforms an NP5 Nito anyway.
Farming aside, Nito Alter is the best AoE generalist Arts for the longer boss fights. With a standard Castoria + Lady Avalon setup, she has better tools than her rivals for hard content. Triple Arts deck for easier Arts chains, autoheal, debuff immunity, etc. And the AoE dodge (instead of invuln) is synergic with Castoria NP.
Ryouma/Lolivinci is better in that department.

it's nice to know her pros and cons now but knowing me I'll still try to NP5 and 120 regardless lol. I'm sure by the time she comes to NA I'll mostly want her because she's waifu and I like seeing Nitocris shine. I'm actually using Murasaki and Summer Kiara to give my NP2 Space Ishtar a break. I got her to NP2 during last year's anniversary GSSR and she went from bond 5 to bond 10 before 2022 ended 😂
Nowadays there are so many good loopers that it doesn't matter which one is more broken. Use what you like best.

good loopers but not enough resources to roll for all of them. You are forced as f2p to choose which is the BEST ONE among all the others due to limited saint quartz. I with 90% of the audience here would definitely go for the better art loopers that do the most damage each wave.
Sure if all you care for is meta then you can have that mindset but this is FGO so for the most part we can force our servants to be decent with grails and appends. The F2Ps I know play for waifu/husbando first so they always go for the servants they find appealing before they think of skills. Lasagna always shower us with quartz too so even F2Ps can have some decent luck without spending.
Friend of mine on NA has NP4 Hao Hao and he 's F2P. The only thing I would recommend before a waifu/husbando is probably some supports to help your account but if the servant you like is good support or meta servant then that's a win win.

I agree with going for your favorites, I'm f2p and got np3 SMusashi and SIshtar, I nearly didn't get Musashi at all when she released with 300 SQ but when she reran I was able to grab 2 more copies with 150 SQ or so, I also was blessed with np3 SIshtar within 300 SQ when trying to get Jane on their release banner. I do agree that I was blessed with those rolls and that not everyone's going to get the same results as me, my point is just that you can go for multiple if not all of them if you wanted to, just make sure to save at least around 300 SQ for each to at least get you maybe one or 2 if not all of them albeit np1. Also it depends of if you're fine doing 5 or 6 turn farming or if you're really stingy and want to always 3 turn farm, if you're the latter then going for a lv120 np5 10/10/10 - 10/10/10/ 2k fou might be your best option.

What I gathered is that, on looping specifically and not focussing on 90++ :
_At np1 and with no Oberon, she's gonna struggle compared to the other 2 when facing high hp enemies
_when at a higher investment ( np 3 or so ), or near max investment ( np5 ) + Oberon she's gonna be fine in nearly any node accompanied with the fact that she would outperform the other 2 in irregular nodes or 1/1/x nodes specifically.
I've a dream that lv 1 esport space Isatar became viable in one specific challenge quest because you need the other two teammates to not be charmed for three turns. There is a moral somewhere in there maybe.
What a great and detailed analysis, when she gets to NA I'm going to make sure to put her at least once with Bakin or Astrea.
Don't count on spooks. As f2p and playing for 1000+ days, I've only spooked for only two times (Artemis and Anastasia).
It could be worth making a video about the permanent servant pool in general as many people use a servants permanent status as if it guarantees everyone to get the servant. As an example I don't think that the 5* ticket would have been called Waver ticket though if you'd reliably get him through spooks. I actively play NA since around somewhere between Guda 1 rerun & CCC amd don't even come close to owning all permanent 4* or good 5* at all.
Great video! I always hope to see this series pop up whenever a new servant appears and so far I've never been disappointed. Also really easy to recommend to newer players for them understand the basics and some nice set ups to run with a particular servants (recommended your Van Gogh vid to a new player who got her through the GSSR recently).
I'd say the "hot take" ironically does fit in quotations, since this seems to be quite a cold take if I've ever seen one.
The idea that people think Astarte could be kill is beyond laughable, she could lose a battle but will ALWAYS win the War. Her Omni present in builds makes her eternally meta untell she gets power crept by a literal Mk2 version of her

@@luciebarathlone730 People overvalue general pool, the chances of you getting a spook and it being Nito (or any specific servant) is around 0.037%, this number decreases over time as more servants are added to general pool.
Even if you remove the 1% chance to actually get a spook, the chances are still only 3.7%, again decreasing the longer the game goes on.
The only real benefit to general pool is when they decide to give SSR tickets, but those are so rare that you're better off rolling on a rate up banner and picking a better option from the ticket like Tamamo.
Being non-limitedd also means she's likely to appear in any future "pick a free ssr" campaigns we get

I just think she's dropping in a really rough time. They obviously counting on the waifu bait to sell her, but we're literally a week away from the lb7 banners dropping with (what I'm sure will be) cracked limited servants. Followed by whatever Solomon-esk chapter is coming soon thereafter. It's risky to roll for a servant that doesn't bring a whole lot new to the table.
Yami Nito may not be the best looper, but she's definitely on my must roll list. Her sprite and animations are top tier

The probably with ST is that Summer Erice and Kriemhild are such high level even just as SRs, it's like how Rider Kintoki dominated that niche for so long.
With the buffed Single SR rates now Summer Erice/Summer Ibuki is a prime banner to roll on.... the new summer servants need to be really good to compete with that banner...
Also ST has a problem with Kintoki being so good, his banner was on rate up for 3 days last year and FGO was ranked 1 on 2 of those 3 days... not even Oberon hit #1 on his rerun.
How would she make Type Earth sad (assuming that's the Moon Princess you mentioned) if Nitocris Alter was Buster or how she would change the Buster Meta in that regard since we already have and elephant in the room by the name Melusine and then Type Earth both with 100% Batteries and the prior having it on a 6T CD (assuming Black Grail usage and 3T looping). I could see Type Earth and Nito Alter kinda being equals if not Type Earth being a little better overall if Nito Alter was Buster in an alternative timeline. I am curious to see why you mentioned that :O.
She would basically be arc 2.0. Melusine is different because you cant repeat her 100 battery therefore you are required to have both double koyan and oberon plug to farm

Man, with all of these flaws you mentioned, I wish she was a limited servant at this point because then she might be better. Sure, she's permanent, but we don't have a free SSR exchange with the updated roster, so the chances of a new player pulling her (or anyone, really) is literally 0.006%. Might as well try your luck with the GSSR.

Honestly I only wish the community could take a single step back and look at both positive and negatives of a unit. I can do that and even when a unit is brain dead hyped to the ultimate some obvious answers of what is lacking somehow go unsaid. Bringing up ibuki summer being easy to explode isn't downplaying her damage potential same as space Ishtar regain/chance or skamas damage range.
Basically when you can look at everything a unit's potential truly shines bright is what I want people to understand. That mindset helped me find the true potential of space Ishtar and musashi zerk when I still played and how much missed testing was left out until this year.
People want nuances when the end all be all way to win is to kill the enemies
@@ACertainMan I feel it's also ego that takes some credit for this to keep happening even if they are right. Castoria is probably the closest thing in fgo to being a "perfect" unit as support but even with the best of the best arts quick or buster farmers they all have a few things lacking but that doesn't mean they aren't good.
@@ivanbluecool a servant can have short comings yes even the most perfect skillsets will have them due to the fact that they are made by a human at the end of the day. In many cases people tend to exaggerate these short comings, 99% of the roster can be made to work and by covering said short comings or dealing with it but people don't want to put in the work.
@@ACertainMan yeah basically that. My guess is most people don't test if they don't actually get the unit which keeps most of the servants from full testing and get forgotten about as most staples haven't changed much from release on each color group.

She looks cool, she spooks, she's really good, it's a great accessible option.
The probability of her spooking you is too low and not worth it when you compare to her limited options. An NP1 Spishtar outdamages an NP5 Nito. So, even if you spark her 5 times on like 0.00012%, a Spishtar that you rolled on rateup would still be better.

@@de158 Artoria is a Buster Omnifarmer option and has been available there forever. There are other more valuable farmers in the gen pool too, like Zenobia, EMIYA, Percy etc. It's not like Nito brings something of value to the table over them either. I'd rather they make her limited/story-locked and improve her kit a little tbh.
I think it's absolutely fair to compare avengers to berserkers, all omni-loopers will be used to farm the same content and therefore are direct competitors. That goes for avengers, berserkers, rulers and mooncancers as they're mainly meant to be used on neutral (the aoe examples specifically). If you have summer ibuki your need for nito-alter is lower and you're less likely to roll for her, that seems like a good reason to compare them.
Even some normal class servants can be mentioned in that argument if they're actually relevant, although there aren't many servants of the 6 main classes capable of competing with equal np levels, not in arts looping at least. There are a few in buster looping like altera, artoria, mordred, gil, melusine and CasCu.
I hate when good loopers come out. I have NP5 jarcher, Sushi, and Astarte so I just immediately feel 0 need to roll. All just trying to grab SR copies lol. Sushi can refund some 2 enemy waves if they are high refund classes at NP5 especially if you can force a 4support team even from 0.
Are you not considering Summer Musashi in the comparison because she doesn't have a battery?
If we are talking pure looping capabilities it has to be Jeanne Archer, She can with a decent plug she is even able to loop irregular nodes. In terms of pure refund I don´t think there is even a close second. In second place I´d say Rider da vinci whose skillset and NP effect also make her a looping machine and considering she´s a rider you´ll mostly use her against casters who give the most refund. Spishtar is good, but without a plug or fragment of 2003 MC (the one that hgives one turn of np gain) she is often stuck at 95/96/97%, wich is irritating cause you need to make sure to time your skills whereas with the others you can activate all skills at once and simply loop 3 times, wich during lottery is really pleasant
I decided to skip on Nitocris Alter the moment I found out she is permanent. I already own Spish (albeit NP1 in JP), so I don't need to worry of her.
I don't see how she could be better than Arc in the hypothetical scenario if she was a buster servant...
Avenger Atk mod + all of her damage would be buffs rather than Arc having a debuff, obviously her s3 arts buff would be turned into buster.
Switching Nito's Np to buster and having the same buffs and Atk stat, BG included and only at Np1.

Really it just comes down to Nito's 2k extra Atk stat as an avenger gives her an edge in damage as their farming rotations would be pretty much the exact same, Nito would also get both her damage skills turn 2 while Arc has to wait until turn 3 to reuse them.
I hope they buff her NP after completion of Lb7. At NP1 she does wet noodle damage and I don't have BG💀. She is grailed to level 100 though

@@dellee4793 I use castoria from support also buff her with Reines and her bond CE and Santa Martha(Sometimes I do double Vitch since there are many Man enemies to farm) . Also ik I have been using as neutral dps so I shouldn't complain about that

Wouldn’t it be even worse for her in theoretical 1/1/1 nodes because of how low her damage is? Nodes with 1 enemy usually have very high hp.

I juat want to say that you could have a similar point of view with any servant in the game. After all there is a finite number of combinations of skills and everything just depends on the player. Do you want an all-rounder, a specialised unit or a support you can have them all. The same with farmers: do you want the most damage, the most safety or the most utility? Nito has her place like all the others do. What if i dont want to fight man using buster? It is my wish. We should stop building metas for singleplayer games that are built actually just as waifu/husbando collectors with story.
well I'm not putting a knife to your throat and telling you to not pull for nitocris, i pulled for NP4 lol, I'm just trying to examine the servant and provide my take on her pros and cons compared to her competition. I certainly brought up points of strength of nitocris in this video as well, they are just usually not things most people care about.

@@watashielshaeddo5454 i didnt say anything about getting useful supports. I just believe that choosing farmers should be left for the player. To be objective there is no best without drawbacks so you cant advocate for a best farmer.

If she's being compared to the 2 best Neutral Farming Avengers in the game then that at least speaks volume for her given that she's a Spookable unit since we don't get a lot of those. Tho yeah, the Buffs S2 provides should've lasted at least 3 Turns while her NP gain doesn't have to be as crap as Young James

Jokes aside. It's the same dance we see constantly happening with every new release of a "broken" unit. People don't take the time to actually test units themselves
. Nitocris alter is great but it's probably not easy for people to have not sunk cost fallicy to make thier rolls really matter in thier mind.
@UC1zb-f1n0NLREQ1M06icsdQ honestly I agree with you on that aspect. The sooner a "review" comes out the less I believe testing was done fully. Your channel is one of the few I actually watch due to taking time and working on the unit's potential
Same with afterwards when the unit is more common. Some servants can shine in specific events or farming nodes so repeat testing is always nice.

Actually NO, in a similar relative farming comp Nito still outdamages Arcueid on neutral, because Arcueid is the gold standard of potato damage.

Honestly what I think gives her a leg up is 1: she isn’t limited. So getting spooked or just more copies in general are relatively easy. And 2: at the end of the day, a battery is still a battery. As for the bust thing, I think it’s one of those skills that’s more situational. You might not use it but it’s nice to have. Also implying that she would be a “killer” feels disingenuous to me. Like, does she really need to be? Like yeah they all have their own place. But that doesn’t really mean that one is better than the other
It's not really easy at all. There are currently 30+ permanent servants. So the chance to get her is less than 0.007% per roll
So to get at least 50% chance to obtain her as a spook you need about 10000 rolls. Not sq, single rolls. It's relatively easy only for a whale.
Lol you must be a newbie if you think a permanent SSR is easy to get. It's NOT, it's super hard to get spooked by a specific SSR unless you are a mega whale, and even harder since she's not in GSSR, you realistically only have the chance to get her by rolling her banner like other limited servants. I have played JP for 4+ years and rolled a decent amount of banner, and I still don't have many permanent SSRs like Artoria despite them being there since day 1.
