Every evening from May to October, the castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte and its gardens are adorned with 2000 candles for a timeless visit ... A gold and silver fireworks display closes this magical evening! !!
The castle of Vaux-le-Vicomte, located on the territory of the French commune of Maincy, 50 km south-east of Paris, near Melun is a 17th century castle, built for the superintendent of finances of Louis XIV, Nicolas Fouquet. It now belongs to a younger branch of the Marquis de Vogüé.
