1979 93ci shovelhead #119 motor rebuild bike repair FL FX harley by tatro machine
this was a very long project (as in over 10 years) for the customer before i took the job in to get it done. most of the parts were purchased many years before so my job was to use as much of those parts as i could along with a few updated parts to make a nice bike for the customer. as you can see we had lots of problems to work thru but in the end it turned out to be a good bike just the way kelly wanted it to be.

nice bike but not my choice of color.
Nice matte finish on the paint job. A couple of LED bulbs crapped out in the right rear marker, headlight rattle and breather oil blow-by. It's a Shovelhead alright.
BTW the oil blowing out the breather is because it doesn't have a loop in the line to keep it from syphoning out from the case and it only happens once in awhile after sitting for long periods of time.
Love the paint job looks awesome

Built plenty of shovels that never leak if done right. Always have a harder time keeping oil in the 4 speeds
Question, can you still use your 80 inch intake on that 93 inch motor ???
only if you shorten the cylinders up and run way to much compression for the street.

Why is it puking oil on the rear tire?
new motors have blow by because the rings need to beak in. he also likes to run the crap out of it. evos and twincams need to watch out or they might not like what happens.
