The game is called "My Trucking Skills"
The game is available on PC, you can find it on my website, mytruckingskil...
It can be played with any type of controller.
    Download for iOS Devices here
    apps.apple.com...
    Download for Andriod here
    play.google.co...
Email me at mytruckingskills@gmail.com For Any Reason
This Trucking Game may not be a view from inside the cab, but it's the most realistic physics that a truck makes where you get to understand how to truck operates in reverse. American Truck Simulator (ATS)and European Trucking Simulator 2 (ETS2) are the best trucking games that you get, and I recommend that you play them, but my game is created for people to just get used to reversing a trailer.
I have heard from so many users that truck schools across the country use my game and use my videos to show their students how to back up.

WOW...Amazing..I like your angle degrees animations, it's similar to what goes in my mind too when I'm backing, it's all about angles, geometry and perspective, I'm glad that you talk about the articulation angle, that determines the tires travel line, the only trainers that mention it a lot is you David and Scott Zane.

The Steer tire in between the Wheel turning, the various angles on the equipment to calculate, the view from both side mirrors... Your approach to video presentation is a marvel.

I know you love talking degrees and angles and it works great, but consider describing it in a clock manner too. Ex: make a right until 2 o clock, straighten out until 12 o clock. I think it would make it much simpler. Degrees are more accurate but the clock angles are more memorable for me.

Good video. I was lucky. When I was young, I worked as a yard spotter. I went backwards almost as much as forward. I'd bump a dock numerous times a day. This experience really helped me when I started driving over the road.

Trying to get an idea of how (from an above angle) to pull a travel trailer as a newbie. Couldn’t find anything from that angle. Love how you show the starting wheel at the same time. I find myself trying to steer it while watching. Trying to understand why and when to go right or left because it seems counter intuitive.

I know it's a nuts idea, but what do you think about affixing (with Velcro tape or something) a small hand compass on the dash while practicing your backs. I'm a sailboat captain getting into the industry for the first time, so I can't help myself. This is how I think! Basically determine a relative bearing to your present position dead ahead while setting up, then steering to that bearing until you hit it. Just during the early days until you're proficient enough not to need it anymore.

    • @MyTruckingSkills
      @MyTruckingSkills  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Now...I'm not going to say flat out that this is a bad idea, is just a bit overkill. But I liked your initiative.
Adding a compass to that mix would mean you are looking at your mirrors less. By the time you take your eyes off the mirrors, analyze your compass then look back at your mirrors you are in a different position. Your eyes need to be watching the trailer as much as possible especially when doing a straight back and when you are jackknifed sticking your head out the window. If you keep the steering straight you will keep the same barring but your trailer will jkife.
Setting up using a compass...I just don't think it's a good idea, you need to be looking out the window at stuff that you could be hitting. Good luck though with your new career, I'm excited for you.
