As a Pat fan, we were dominant for 20 years then I’m glad we stunk for like four years because if we did not, we would have never got Drake. This kid is just going to keep getting faster and stronger. He just turned 22 like a month ago. Wait till they get the best tackle in the draft to protect his blind side. Then get a veteran receiver. I bet you, Calvin Ridley regrets not coming to New England. He’s putting up nothing over there in Tennessee. Drake is going to make some receivers here in New England a lot of money.
Exactly.. the offense is 100 percent Drake Maye right now lol.. maybe sprinkle in a little hunter Henry but besides that the offense blows and the defense is trash minus gonzo
I believe Jerod said that if they did go for 2 and missed, you all would be criticizing him as well. So honestly, the lesson here is: the media loves to hate on everyone.
Yeah, that's what I was saying. Going for 2 can be risky at times because there's a chance the team misses or the opponent team's defense holding up. But on the other side of it, when you go for OT, stuff like getting picked off happens and you still lose. So i guess it's a matter of preference
I'm a happy Pats fan, since 1968, and I hope they keep their heads up and their voices down. The Pats need a few more pieces, and hopefully they will get them through the draft, a couple of OL and skill players, and some DL and LB pieces and we will be good to go back to the final game of the year. Drake Maye is set, just got to keep him healthy.
Drake Maye said in his press conference with Patriots media he was cramping after the last second touchdown. Patriots had no chance at getting a two point conversion.
Why would they go for 2, with the game on the line, especially when the run game was not punching through. I understand Mayo felt they had a better chance in overtime. If he had went for 2, failed, everyone would be slamming him for going for 2 instead of taking it into overtime.
Also, I don’t even care that we lost. We need to get the best tackle in the draft and I don’t want another team picking a better tackle over the Patriots. Remember once you lose in the playoffs, you’re in the same situation as the Patriots. It’s only one team that raises that trophy. That’s all that matters not the team that comes in second place.
Nope. We need the best WR in the draft. Desperately. Grab tackles in round 2 or one of the 2 round 3 picks we got. And if we end up with pick 1-3 we can probably trade down a couple picks for another round 2-4 pick. You can find good tackles after round 1, finding a WR is a lot more rare
O line play after qb play is the most important factor to sustained winning...sell out in the draft for the o line and buy skill players in free agency...wrs are dime a dozen these days with many studs being drafted outside the first..quality linemen are simply a far rarer commodity..
@ WR are absolutely not a dime a dozen. O line is useless without WR that can run a route and catch consistently, and even better if they are skilled and can beat coverage. Ours can't do any of that currently
@ Douglas can do it. Baker will eventually be able to do it. It’s called rebuilding just like Detroit did. For the first two seasons everyone was saying to fire Dan campbell but look how wrong they were. Just give it time, man. That’s all you can do. I’m very excited about it. I feel like this team is going to turn into something very great in the next couple years.
@@Whathappened875 I understand your argument, but if you don’t get a good line to protect Drake, it does not matter what receivers you have. Look at the San Diego Chargers right now. They use their early pick on a tackle. They have one of the best running games now. Herbert’s not getting murdered anymore. They are building up their team and if they can go get a good receiver, they will be much better. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I’m just saying I disagree. That’s all you make a good argument too.
@@WhattheRuck I would play the WHOLE roster to see who can play and who can not so they can turn the roster over and rebuild, that would probibly lead to losing games (tanking).
Does he win games though??? He looks real good at times but then he makes mistakes like he did again in OT!!! He's cool with his scrambling abilities and long passes but he's not going to lead the Patriots to the playoffs in the next few years

The RB is averaging less than 2 yards per carry, the receivers can't catch, and the blockers can't block. There's your answer.

Maye looks amazing too bad he will have too wait it out till he gets the right pieces . Next year will be better .
Isn’t this the clown that said Maye was a bust?

Patriots should tank for picks and build a team around Maye then maybe they could contend for the playoffs in 2027.
No
Tank implies not playing to win. These guys are all professionals and have huge egos. None of them are tanking.

Chris finally going to admit he was dead wrong about this kid.. ☕
JT QB School butthurt to this, yelling at Sims YOU CAN'T GIVE IN 😭😭🤪
Chris Sims is so bad at evaluating QBs.
lol Mac jones had a better rookie season than maye. Patriots fans need to hold their horses and stop being delusional about drake maye.
I am sorry but this is brain dead drakes played 3 games, on a worse team
lol..yeah because the way Drake is playing is worse than what Mac was doing 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
They might be true so far but u can just tell who's naturally physically better
