Great review! I like the duo format as well. I will agree the ums were distracting, but it was only really noticed in the one segment of the video and is something likely to fade with practice/time. I did find myself wishing a little more had been summed up so that it was closer to a 15 min video rather than 23 min. But overall great job, you both have great personalities, make good points, and are interesting to listen to.

and.. Would that improve the 1vs1 mode? I'm just guessing that the snowball effect comes largely thanks to them, what do you think?
Played this at 3, and area control didn’t really come in to it. Was just las one standing
Finally managed to get this to the table over the weekend playing solo.
Is it just me or did the AI only Activating one enemy per turn seem to Easy/ not enough challenge?
It's kinda balanced out by the card used for activation giving the AI a bonus to movement/attack power, plus the AI can move AND attack in one turn without gaining weakness unlike the player. They also don't have as many movement penalties to deal with. Besides, your REAL enemy in solo/co-op is the timer, 7-6 turns before you lose is not a lot of time to explore the dungeons and fend off the AI at the same time.
If it's too easy, maybe experiment with different characters for enemies and allies, if all else fails, try using two AI in one turn but only have the 2nd AI Move OR Attack, not both.
I find the tokens very fiddly. This is my first Tiny Epic title and I already want that game to be bigger :D They slide of the cards so easily, because they are curved and 'smooth'
I got Tiny Epic Zombies and same thing. That game NEEDS to be bigger. Just way too much going on.

I love this game a lot because of the size and simplicity. Yet gives a full skirmish game feel and look. Good buy for the price point.
Two player cooperative dungeon mode is best for two players in my opinion. Overall as a board gamer always on the move, this game really appeals to my friends that are more causal players. the fact you can play it on a coffee table and sets up in 5 mins, makes it easier to get to out and play.
I’d suggest to teach players. playing a quick death match on the biggest box, along with the longest box. It has all the terrain types and a control area. It makes for a chaotic action packed introduction.

All these tiny epic, with their meeples and mech and 3d maps, look cool, but defiitely not my cup of tea. I'd like to buy these games just for having fun with meeples (But I won't).
Seal of approval? None of you liked it that much. Too many games to keep mediocre games in a collection.
Hey, Roy! Public speaking tip: Watch videos of yourself and pay attention to the "umm"s. I know you don't realize it when you're talking, but it becomes very distracting to the audience. It's something you absolutely can learn to control once you notice it.
Good overwiev. My problem was with the rules explanation where you used slot of "filler" noise such as " uuihm". Using filler sounds like that is very distracting and makes it hard to listen to. It's better to stay quiet when you need to think to avoid unnecessary wounds

Also might work on using "like" a bit less. I enjoy the opinions, but there's room for improvement. Keep 'em coming!
Maybe Roy is a little excitable for us oldies and even Mike is speaking a little faster than i'd like but i thought they did well overall. High hopes for future reviews.
