Just think of all the flowers that would be placed on Nelson's grave if we could all visit. Thank you for doing this. I means a lot and brings tears to my eyes.
He bought so many people together and he is still doing it amazing. Love the man
Thank you for taking the time to do this, I'm a huge fan of Nelson's from Canada and always hoped that his grandparent's house still stood and was well maintained, it's an amazing example of a big southern house. Tragic how his mother and Nancy had to go on for so long without Nelson in their life, I'm sure he was the brightest part of it.
Another Canadian fan here love him and his work so much
He died so young but lived life to the fullest. They haven't posted anymore of his videos since his friend died.
I think about that often as well.

This is my cousin's grave site he's a distant cousin I never met him he was dead when I was a baby but I always grew up watching his home videos now they're on TH-cam so that's how I got to know my cousin Nelson Sullivan my mother's maiden name is Sullivan related to the sullivans
Makes me think about my own pending death one day. All the tough choices through our life’s and all the memories through the years are all swept away. We leave it all behind, our remains and a simple headstone is all that’s left. Live for today and don’t let the little things get you down. Just like when Nelson thought not being invited to a party was a big deal. In the passing of time it just doesn’t matter anymore.
Nelson's interaction with Mrs. Mobly was the sweetest gesture. I knew from that moment that Nelson was kind, decent and well bred.
I came to visit his grave today left him bright yellow flowers RIP Nelson

RUPAUL needs to bring some of that LOVE she/he Always talking about to Nelson
He's spoken about Nelson in public many times. Close friends. I'm sure hes paid him a visit since his passing. As a matter of fact, rupaul moved into Nelson's apartment after he passed away and shared custody of watching blackout with another one of Nelson's friends.

RUPAUL is a good person ,,,yes,. ,I was just saying. Nelsons resting place should be More Comfortable....So The Soul has a Nice place to return to when it is Done Wandering.
Thanks for doing this. Seeing the gravestones really shows you how important Nelsons videos are, as they would just be words on stone without Nelson preserving who they were.
Looks so lonely and sad. The grave was all moldy. I remember someone cleaned it up.

Died on July 4th. I mean no disrespect, but what a Nelson thing to do. May he rest in peace. And be careful out there, kids. Partying is fun. But it can definitely catch up to you if you don't know when to pump the brakes.
What does partying have to do with Nelson or his death? He passed away suddenly from a heart attack. It wasn't cancer or aids. Heart disease runs in his family and I believe his grandfather had also died from a sudden heart attack out of nowhere. I doubt his lifestyle had much of anything to do with it.

I never got to meet my cousin but you sure did seem seem fun I know we would have gotten along
It makes me so sad to see Nelson & is Mum Blanche and is Aunt Nancy's graves it feels so final, but we have memories immortalised on celluloid film tapes for ever.?. I wish was able to put a red rose on each of there graves to say thank you for the road trip around 70s & 80's New York City, it was a trip and a half.!. and not for getting that Dick Richards Nelsons child hood friend from Kershaw, South Carolina as also passed away, a few years, not sure actually when though, but it was long after Nelson passed away. I was able to find the grandparents' house on Google maps, but I don't know the address of Nelson's childhood home. I also was able to see Nelson's church, the downtown area, and the Gold Mine railroad depot all shown in Nelson's videos.
His childhood home is just across the street from his grandparents, but on the side where the famous grape arbor still stands. Hope that helps ❤

I spent way too long tracking these locations on google street maps when I could've just watched this video. I walked along with Nelson, so it was ok.
Are the homes currently owned by the Baker Family in Kershaw? The family that owns Baker Funeral Home?

probably not, as his funeral followed a Presbyterian Service, where in-side burial is preferred to cremation.
