Thank you that was extremely useful! Not a lot of information out there on this important subject. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and interesting opinions.
very helpful information and I've taken notes on everything that was mentioned; will be considering all the options when looking into teaching ability with your website. Thanks much!
Why cant you just have each member have to register an account? Once done they are allowed up to 2 different devices ( have them register by a 3 point system user acct info, user ip address, device MAC address )that they can access said course ( people don't need to be able to access the course anywhere imo, I meanit's a LEARNING course ). From there add some sort of strike counter. If the course is accessed by that user anywhere else but the two devices they set up on their account, they get banned and would have to make a new account which I might add needs to cost a few bucks. It sounds bad sir but there are only TWO sure fire ways to get people to stop stealing courses. 1. The first and obvious as easiest is to not put it online ( of course thast defeats the purpose of what you're trying to do. ) and 2. The second is to punish them in a way that costs them MONEY. People do NOT like to spend money for their own mistakes. You could make the fee refundable if you wish once the course is completed. You CANNOT stop someone from stealing a course without such counter-measures. And do you know who usually has the easiest access to do this? Online gamers. Just for an example I literally recorded this entire video pressing the ALT F9 keys which are my default keys for when i record online games, but mine is set to also record any desktop activity. Anything I see and hear, it does too.
great advice. I am concerned about people doing screen recordings
Thanks, I'm currently planning to create my own online courses, and these advice were very helpful !!

I was wondering if there is some sort of confidentiality agreement you can have people sign? But all of this video was helpful
Is it worth it to register a copyright to protect each online course you create?
