Thank you! This has been my biggest pet peeve with all Bethesda games. There was an old mod for legacy Skyrim that did this and it worked so damn well! Could even see your shadow cast by light sources. Very cool. Thank you!!
im so confused. ive tried multiple mods in fallout 4 that claim to do exactly what this mod does (and ive tried this mod too) but all of them use the "custom camera" mod. and then fake a first person view with the third person camera. and no matter how i set it up. it never quite works for me. when i look down my body is invisible in first person, now if i go into third person camera i can zoom in waaaay closer then normal, and when i look down, i do see my body. but when looking straight ahead the camera is now on top of my characters head, with my hair glitching trough my FOV when ever i move around. so that means i have to switch back to first person, and then my body is invisible as it normally is. what is so different between skyrim and fallout engine wise, for skyrim i can just download a single ESP file, that only needs SKSE, and no third party camera mods, and it just functions as expected. not faking a realistic first person view by editing third person view camera, but instead just doing what it says on the box and making your body visible in first person. why is there no such thing for fallout 4, the mod for Skyrim also enables the third person animations to function in first person view. literally all it does is make your body no longer invisible and enable the third person animations for first person view. really annoying because i have a really nice playthrough going with quite a nice 300+ mod list. but every time i look down and see my i am invisible it just pulls me right out of the game XD.
I uploaded it on google drive, check the Video description. 😊 Just be careful of the performance, you need a good CPU and SSD. I have categorized most of the mods so you know which do what.
For suit: Motoko Kusanagi outfit + GITS_RECOMBI and RETEXTURES For mask: Half Face Mask + Half Face Mask CBBE Mesh Fix Ears: Animal EARS (CBBE_Vanilla)
You can also do this in Left 4 Dead 2. Both using third person to achieve that immersive first person view. The only problem is the janky clipping mostly the head, due it using the character world model.

I downloaded all the specified mods, transferred the falloutcustom file to the folder, but nothing worked. Why? Did I do something wrong?

You have to zoom in third person to see your body.

It's because the player model stops rendering in first person.
Impressive bruh, the name of the Mod for the vendors list & how you can C 3D object with texture!!

@@neonic252 You're welcome. ☺
ROSY REALLY
Yes really. 😊
hows this affect fov changes and shooting in first person
It does not, it’s using third-person camera to mimic first-person view.

Da bobees
So for male characters hiw would it be fixed
What’s the issue with male characters?
Doesn't this mess up your third person though?
With the correct settings it can be done without issues.
Is this first person mod on ps5
Xbox port?
