    I don't understand why we are so blind? The ANC has long betrayed black people, even before 1994. We were told to forgive people who never asked for forgiveness, they left us to the hands of our oppressers economically , hence that's why today we are much poorer than before. When the youth embark on a just revolution, all the occupiers of Luthuli house should be rounded up and charged for treason.

      @The Flying Dutchman your flag disgusts me, what I said was not because I agree with racist white unpatriotic people like you who do not see fellow black country men as there equal, you too would be imprisoned in our next revolution. Hope you somewhere in Australia, we do not need people like you

    The EFF suffers deeply from the failures of the ANC and this failure has placed a dark suspicious, doubtful cloud over the EFF as a black political party in a landscape where black reflects ANC as Gogo indirectly puts it, the EFF needs to free itself from ANC politics and prove itself as truthful and with the political wellness to do the things it says it will do. I guess the EFF understands this by its recent desire to govern in order to partially free itself from the cloud which it finds itself under.

    Agree that the current political system won’t bring about the change that is needed in SA. Agree that SA has become vulnerable to external forces. But SA has always been molded to some degree by external forces. The country does not exist in a vacuum. There is a global market and it has a place and a role that it sees the country playing. The country is weak and broken just like the ANC. What needs to be realized is that you cannot step outside of the world markets - you have to play by its rules or it will step in and crush you like it did to Gadaffi. Big capital cares about money, not people - that’s sad but it’s true. The only feasible way forward is to play the role we have to play and yet play it in a way that can uplift the nation. Mbeki was doing well, but the people grew impatient. It will take time, but we have to play within the rules set up by the dominant world markets - whether we like it or not.

    I'm scared at the comments about how our system of governance or our liberal democracy needs a new revolution. I know uGogo says the political ideologies are outdated but I think this is a result of how the ANC has been captured. This is also a result of looking at the shortcomings of western capitalism. Corruption is a feature in both ideologies but socialism is the worse system because it requires a certain type of character to lead in order to have even a chance of being a positive governance system. Ramaphosa is weak in the sense that he has failed to leverage his power as the president to effect the change he wants. He needs to take a page out of the JZ book, grow a pair and be decisive rather than being influenced by this unity nonsense. Great interview!

    As erudite as he is, gogo has contradicted himself. He said that the spiritual realm is nonbinary despite having earlier said that he has been captured by a “female spirit”. The Bible and many other holy books present God as a male being. The story goes that after the Bible had been written God breathed life into it. If the foregoing is true and reconcilable with what gogo has said then it means that God breathed life into a book that misleads us about his/her gender (if s/he has one).
    Thank you for an intellectually stimulating interview once again. SMWX provides welcome respite in a space characterised by lethargic presentation of current affairs.

    • @thabangsekaja3615
      @thabangsekaja3615 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Tankiso, he explained it eloquently though, that whilst the spirit world is gender neutral, it still presents itself to us on this side of the realm in a shape and form that we recognise,i.e gender. For our minds cannot recognize the spirit if presented itself in a non-binary fashion. Hence he said when he dreams of his father, who is now a spirit, his father would present himself in the picture that he, as the dreamer, would recognize that it is indeed his father. Meaning he will see the father he new in the physical realm.

    • @tankisomoeketsi6163
      @tankisomoeketsi6163 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      How does he know that its nonbinary. Whats the source that he relies on when all known sources (at least all sources known to me) present God as a male. Whats the source of his view that the spiritual realm isnt gendered?
