I think Shugo needs some identity or more unique usage to his kit. Hitokiri just feels like a stronger Shugo because of his infinite chains, bigger unblockables damage and overall more pressure than him. I'm not saying Shugoki needs a dmg buff, but I think that some quality of life changes could help him a bit. Imagine if you could do an immediate demon embrace after gb, or if the demon embrace was overall faster (or could at least chase the opponents more, like the soft-feint demon embrace reach), that could be an alternative punish to the 24dmg demon throw. Just dropping some ideas overall.

I always get lighted outta my attacks as Shugo 😮💨 You ever get guard broken out of a light attack, too? Its been happening a lot more to me lately! Especially as Shugo and Medjay

@@marted7135 No he was fine, he’s slow, and has only 2 chain attacks, so he’s supposed to be a hard hitter by default instead of the feat when he takes a hit he gets a damage buff! Also demon’s embrace atm is trash, low damage, extremely low health back, slow move, and insane high recovery! It’s been nerfed so hard when he’s used to be trade with it!! Comparing to Shaman’s bite he’s nothing!
He called Toeknee out for being the absolute dead weight teammate that he is. "If you're gonna play a bash character do it next to the edge you fkn idiot". Toeknee couldn't respond because he was playing like a "fkn idiot" as he always does. 😂

He honestly didn't need it, now it's basically unstoppable, they could've used their time to rework into a morally decent way that b*tch of the Nobushi or give a buff to Warden who could really benefit from of a rework.

The developers clearly have a bias towards buffing hitokiri and kensei.
