Sir that is an absolute heirloom piece!! Beautiful in execution and form. You are a truly gifted woodturner/artist/engineer. Kudos!! 🎉
Nice design and colors! Looks great!
Love this. Well done.
Hi the artist. The jewels must be worthy of this magnificent box😀. Thank you for this beautiful sharing. Friendship of France.
You're welcome and thank you too Laster.., greetings from Indonesia 🙏🙏
The smell of that teak must have been divine. One of my favourite wood fragrances.
That's right, the smell of teak wood is very distinctive, the smell is very fragrant
At about 9:25 a little critter shows up in the background. 😆No doubt they wanted to see your amazing creations!
hahaa yes, it's true that a small frog entered the workshop, it's understandable that the workshop is near a fish pond 😁
@@mayukowoodturning7644 I love frogs 🐸 . We have found 🐭 , red squirrels 🐿 and chipmunks in our shop over the years. They make life more interesting 😀
That's very true friends, animals that we often encounter around us can accompany us when we are working
Another beautiful project. Keep up the great work.
Thank you Harry 🙏🙏
It came out nice brother
Beautiful box very elegant. Good job, thank you for sharing.
Fantastic piece! Did nobody else see the frog (or maybe a bat) go across the shop in the background at the 9:15 mark????
oh yes it was a frog that was accidentally caught on camera and I didn't realize it, the workshop is near a fish pond so there are often frogs that enter 😁
Beautiful
Excellent looking Box, superb contrasting woods. Well done 🙌🙌
Surely as precious as the jewels stored in it - if not more. Invaluable because being unique
Beautiful piece like always!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍❤️
Thanks Wanda , 🙏🙏
Really like that approach for feet, very subtle
Sorry, wrong comment, TH-cam jumped to this one while I was commenting on the one this was intended for

Another beautiful piece. The thin white line in the centre was a master stroke, Stewart, south western Australia.
Thank you Stewart, greetings friends from Indonesia 🙏🙏

obrigada Ranulfo 🙏🙏
Krásná práce 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Děkuji 🙏
Have you ever thought of using thin sheet metal (aluminum, brass, copper…) between segments for highlights? Love your work.
Yes, I've thought about making it, in the previous video I just made a job using acrylic as an insert
Muhteşem!
Завидую тому, кто купит подобную красоту.
جيد جدا 👍👍
You would get way less tearout with traditional tools
That's true but I'm not used to using traditional tools, thanks for the advice 🙏🙏
@@mayukowoodturning7644 I wasn't either, they made my work so much better when I learned them. You do have to buy a sharpening system though
@@paulhopkins1905 Well that's what I don't have, someday I want to have it too
You might find that making a tenon with a shoulder and NOT letting it touch the bottom of the chuck will give you a MUCH BETTER hold and will run truer.
Very beautiful. I do love rosewood. By the way, I noticed a rodent, perhaps a mouse, running along the floor in the back ground. A pet perhaps? 😉
ooh, that frog was accidentally caught on camera, the workshop is near the pond so there are always frogs 😁
@@mayukowoodturning7644 is that what it was. All I saw was a blurred movement
Beautiful. Love the burl. Just hope the burl topper is strong enough with a tight fitting lid??
Thank you, yes the wood burl is hard and strong enough to be the lid
I see a frog on the floor!
Yes, that's right, it's understandable that the wood workshop is near the pond so frogs are always coming in 😁🙏🙏
Que elegante.
Gracias Juan 🙏🙏
Better idea, it could be an M&M bowl.😃
hahaha yes it can be used for any storage

Maravilha!
..., from Brasil.
obrigada 🙏🙏
Bonjour, joli travail...pouvez vous me dire ou vous trouvez les pastilles avec votre logo personnalisé?, merci
Merci, je l'ai acheté dans un magasin de monnaie de ma région
...very cool and beautiful piece...love the choice of woods. By the way, was that your pet frog in the background at 9:26???
Thank you for appreciating my work, oh sorry that's not my pet frog, the workshop is near a fish pond so there's always an entry 😁
@@mayukowoodturning7644 ...a fish pond? That's so cool...and relaxing...we have a neighborhood pond in our back yard, so we also know about "visitors"...
Love your work and look forward to upcoming videos...!
@@_zhawkeye_9808 Yes it's true the fish pond has a natural freshness, I do woodwork which is a lot of dust and needs fresh air, thank you very much for watching my video 🙏🙏🙏
Just curious....where do you get your makers discs?
i made it at the coin shop
@@mayukowoodturning7644 Thanks. Best wishes.
9:25Лягушка
случайно попал на камеру 😁
What was the little creature in the background at 9:25?
oh it's a frog that passed by and accidentally caught on camera, because my workshop is near a fish pond and there are often frogs enter 😁
Not to get off track, but at 9:26 what is that crawling on the floor behind you? Looks like a frog. Is it a pet?
oh sorry that's not my pet frog, the workshop is near a fish pond so there are always people entering the workshop and it's accidentally caught on camera 😁
@@mayukowoodturning7644 I thought it was funny. You always do such good work. Nice job!
@@longdriver2 Thank you very much 🙏🙏🙏
what's with the mouse at 9:23? Seriously?!?
No, it's a frog that came in and was accidentally caught on camera , you know the workshop is near a fish pond so there are often a lot of frogs 😄
Can you please go back through your videos and edit out that terrible painful squeak from your equipment? I have watched a lot of your videos and I love them but there’s always a massive squeak that hurts my ears in just about every one of them.
It really is useless when not accompanied by narrative and instructions.
