Hello, beauties today's video will be a new major small fridge deep clean and organization. I'm going to show you how to create more space in your small fridge. Since we've been on lockdown I've stocked up on stuff and it's time to organize this small fridge. Finally a fridge I can relate to! Only thing is that you have a lot of stuff in original boxes, and that takes a lot of space.

Hey girl. Great video, but I'm actually here to offer up some tips for you. So I see that you were trying to store A LOT of drinks in your fridge. While it's a good idea in theory, you're not going to go through all those drinks in just one or two days. What I would recommend is instead of those bulky plastic bins for the drinks, use plastic "canned drink organizers." You can actually search that on Amazon and it'll come up. I'd recommend two or three of those and replacing the cans you used up daily and also placing them on your top shelf near your eggs for two reasons. 1: Canned drinks don't take up a lot of vertical space so you can use the middle shelf for taller items (like jugs of juice or pitchers) and 2: You NEVER want to put your raw meat items on the top because it's closer to the light bulb (which means it's not the coldest part of your fridge) and also if one of your meat packages has a rip in it or leaks, then that's a whole clean up job that I promise you is not fun lol.
Secondly, a lot of your items are still in its original packaging. Best thing you can do for freezing means is, if you aren't using it soon, take it out of its original packaging and put them in freezer ziploc bags or if you have a vacuum sealing machine. Label what the item is and the date you bought it. Then I would organize them in your fridge by the type of meats they are. For example, you can have a bin for chicken, a bin for beef and a bin for seafood. Hope this was helpful to you. (:

Thank you so much for the tips but we do go through those sparkling waters pretty fast I keep them in the fridge because of that reason 😂😂😂.
I organized during the beginning of lockdown so used everything I had on hand Amazon wasn't shipping out packages unless it was essential. The meat I take down and put in the fridge gets cook that day.
I agree on the beverages. Even if you drink them quickly, they're taking up valuable space in the fridge. I'd put one days worth in the fridge and restock at night so that they're cold and ready to go the next day.
The meat in the freezer....the store packaging is bukly and the plastic isn't thick enough for freezing. If you have room in your kitchen, a good saver would be a great appliance to add. Prevents freezer burn better.
I pull pizzas out of the boxes and just take a pic of the cooking instructions.
Your end result looks GREAT!! I love the clear plastic bins. I have those in my fridge, cabinets and have organised my bathroom cabinets with them too.

What I have in the fridge would probably last us two days in my house 😂😂😂 I have 3 boys and my husband we go through drinks pretty fast that is the reason it's mostly drinks at the bottom
I agree with almost everything you said. The only thing is, refrigerators that have a freezer on top (like hers) will have the coldest compartment on top near the light bulb actually. That’s because the cold air from the freezer sinks down into the regular fridge part (I only know this because I used to work at an appliance store 😂😭)and also that’s why sometimes people’s’ eggs or fat free milks’ tend to freeze on the top shelf. ✨

FYI, I like using the extra tall squeeze bottle from the dollar tree for salad dressing. I labeled mine and put clear tape over it. With the tall skinny bottles, it is less wasted space and since they are all the same size, I fit more on the door instead of so many different-shaped bottles. Thanks for sharing.

Just a tip; When you put the breastmilk in the freezer, lay it flat to freeze. This is the most important thing that you can do to maximize the amount of milk that you can fit in your freezer, because you can stack it more compactly when it's frozen flat. :))

Another tip momma that I’ve heard is that storing the milk in the freezer door is not the best place because it fluctuates in temperature so often so maybe like use one of the boxes and store the milk as deep in there as you can🥺 I hate it cause it’s so convenient in the door but the milk will definitely last longer 💓

I have a small freezer so for meats I like to remove them from their packaging and put them in zip lock bags and stack them. For box related items, if they're prewrapped, i throw away the box. That way there's a lot more room for storage. I think you did a great job!

A real fridge clean out!!! I take out all freezer packaging. I will either tape directions to the food or use a sharpie to write directions.

Glad to know I’m not the one who was looking for a video like this with a regular, standard white fridge! Every other video out there has a stainless steel/“fancy fridge, which I don’t have 😂. Love this video!

Great job! All boxes and packages takes a lot of space. I recommend you to use freezer ziplocks for all the meats and that will leave you extra space. Also love the music👍🏻

Tamerica Shelly I know what is to make magic to try to organize without space on the freezer. Also if you use the ziplocks, use the method of seal the meats dipping it on water to take out the air before freezing it.

You could put your pizza boxes under your bin with the pancake sausages. That way you are utilizing the full height of the freezer and are able to put other items where the pizza is. It will easily slide out from under the bin when you want to eat it.

Getting rid of boxes and buying rectangle freezer containers helped me with organizing the freezer specially using that container for my meats I had Ziploc.

I noticed you holding the door with your foot and it’s just so incredibly relatable I had to let you know. Every place I’ve rented the fridge and freezer doors will not stay open lol it’s sooooo annoying
Great video ! I find it easier to remove everything from the box and use a Ziploc bag to store it . Also with the meats you can store that in a zip lock bag and either write on the bag or label it

Hey this is my first time viewing your channel you popped up! You have a “normal” fridge I love it. I know because you had to remove the ice tray you guys like cold drinks I get that concept (I love my cold drinks too) Everything looks great my only 2 things (you know your fridge better than us and the durability it’s also preference for your breast milk if your still pumping and storing freeze them laying flat. This will allow you more space in your freezer especially if you have a goal for the milk and also if your not able to get a small deep freezer right now. I won’t say inexpensive because I don’t shop from no ones pockets so just do research on what works for you and your family. Other thing reverse meat with the drinks just so nothing drips on your drinks. I know the tray is there and the light of course is off when it’s closed but just in case you have to stack or side by side it. Thank you so much I've gotten that suggesting a lot and I didn't even think to freeze my breastmilk flat. I will do that next time if we decide to have another little one. He is 18 months now and all of the liquid gold is gone 😊.
We wanted to purchase a deep freezer but we didn't have that much longer here. With everything that happened, it pushed back our move date, but now we have 3 months left. When we do move I will purchase one.

I love this! We drink sparkling water too but our jit was spendrift. ALL DAY EVERYDAY I finally gave in and got a soda stream on sale. BEST EVER saves not only a ton of $ (we go thru about a box every other day, without guests) but also less waste and more space!

Just a suggestion you should take your meats out of the packages that they came and wrap them in aluminum foil and then place them in freezer bags that will give you more room and your meat won’t get freezer burn.

Investing in a deep freezer will save space in the refrigerator freezer and allow for more food, and keep from blocking the vents in the refrigerator freezer. Then you can you the refrigerator freezer for mor frequently used items. Then you can buy certain things in bulk and move to the refrigerator freezer when you run low.
Thank you so much for that input but we are military. It is not guarantee that the deep freezer will be able to fit in homes if we move overseas. We've thought about getting one but we move so much

When I was breast-feeding and pumping I bought a deep freezer to store all my liquid gold. I filled that thing up !!

Great effort. May I suggest you remove all the packaging and vacuum seal most of the items. You will have so much room. I also bought a deep freezer. I had the same issues before I was given the same advice I gave you. Blessings to you.

Watching this video was very satisfying for some reason 😂. Love the music as well. Isn't it crazy how nasty the fridge can get? Like spills happen that you never even see. This is a great idea to put the trays in the fridge. My mom was just saying she wished our fridge had more trays too. Great vid sis!

Tfs....so relatable. Helpful hint dont store your milk in side door in freezer bc its less consistent with temperatures. Also I buy EVERYTHING in bulk and break down. So for meats use baggies and date/label for the waffles and frozen veggies stuff like that use the side door and stuff your milk toward the middle/back. Not like out of reach area but in the cold zone to prevent temp changes from opening the door. You could use one of the plastic bins to.store milk.

Ik this is months after this was posted but a tip for meats it to take them out of the package and put them in ziplock baggies (gallon) then it won’t take up so much space

Hey mama. Great job!! I have this exact refrigerator so I’m definitely going to take a page out of your book. Only thing i wanted to draw attention to is be careful storing your breast milk on the door. It’s recommended that it’s stored at the back of the freezer so maintain optimum frozen-ness or something lol idk just read it in passing during my breast feeding journey. Thought I’d (attempt) to pass on knowledge. 🤪
