- Visiting Maine for the first time, Zach Fowler took me lobster and crab trapping on the bay! We then brought our catch to private island and had an epic cookout with camping afterwards!

Little known fact about Maine is that way back in time 1700s an 1800s they use to feed lobster to Maine Prisoners and it was stopped due to cruel and unusual punishment, they hated it. Shortly later it’s now a delicacy

Lobster was essentially considered slop - only fit for prisoners until east coast restaurants began serving it in the 1880s, according to History.

I live in Maine and let me tell you... Catch and cooks in the Environment here are absolutely amazing! Whether you're fishing or hunting for game you get the full experience. nothing beats trapping your own lobster and crabs up here

Was fascinated because our states are the furthest north. Just retired so now I am going to fulfill this dream. Can't wait to experience Maine.

I think this Maine series is my new favorite. It reminds me of being home in Newfoundland, which has a very similar lifestyle. I can even smell the salt water watching this.

Incredible!. I loved the raspberry island as much as Zach's vegetable garden. Something curious about survival is that you must be a good cook too! What a blessing to be able to fish and cook your own food in those places.
