What I like about David is his quirky style and his high spirits for such a serious subject. He is a legend.
All people of good conscience should be supporting him. Good luck to him.

In 2016 in Townsville, I was set up & unlawfully charged with assault by our Army neighbour Alexander Anderson who was a DV perpetrator against his girlfriend, and when she finally left him we became his target, he was a nightmare neighbour to say the least.
He buddied up with a crooked police sargent & charged me with assault because the water from my hose went over his fence & he claimed I deliberately squirted him, even though I couldn’t see over our high fence & his video footage that they tried so hard not to give me, giving me a blank disk the first time, the footage showed not one drop of water landed on him.
I was innocent & unknowledgeable about my rights back then, and I couldn’t afford a lawyer at the time as I had spine surgery & wasn’t working.
I was told to make a plea of convenience to plead guilty. Now I know what I know I so regret that I listened to that advice & as a result my citizenship application was cancelled, when I had been in the country for 50 years with no criminal history.
This guy is pure evil. So much corruption it’s putrid!

I’m loving your book David & can’t believe how quickly it arrived less than a week including the weekend all the way to Far North Queensland - I’m up to chapter 9, I’m allowing myself 3 chapters with my morning coffee ☕️🚬😮‍💨 🫣🤣😂 🤓📖 every morning then it’s too hot 🥵 to sit here any longer & I have to get onwards & upwards with my day, a slow going nightmare- I’ll get there in the end..
You’ve melted my heart a few times already 🫠 the most recent; you’re friendship with Kit. I’m 3 years younger than you and although we have had remarkably contrasting upbringings, I can relate much to the times we both grew up in, weren’t they just the pinnacle of years to grow up in Australia - I feel extremely blessed that these were THE BEST years to be our age and experience the best of both eras in this expansive and FREE land Australia.
I was born in England, Harrogate Yorkshire to be exact, and came over by the Sitmar line ship the Castel Felice, ( an Italian ship ) on her 2nd to last voyage before she was scrapped, embarking from Southhampton later part of 1969 I was 3.5 years old, I have so many vivid memories of that voyage even down to the smells of the food, the smell & feeling of deep blue ocean crashing the side of the ship spraying onto the deck and coming in the open portholes.
The Neptune party for crossing the equator, and docking at ports along the way. South Africa being the most remarkable stop for me, there was a hot sand storm as we ( my parents & I ) alighted the tour coach and everyone was wearing sunglasses 😎 to protect their eyes from the relentless hot wind bellowing sand hitting our faces, and I was crying ( perhaps screaming 😫 😂) with none 😭.
Arriving 6th January 1970 disembarking in Port Adelaide ( of all places to choose 🙄 the city of churches and famous murders ) in this great wondrous new land in as Ten pound poms, awaiting our trunk, tea chests and Morris 1100 to arrive some weeks later. Staying with my Auntie Peggy, Uncle Geoff & Cousin Mark (not blood related) who came over the year before us, we stayed at their house for about 6 months until my parents bought a near new colonial house around the corner.
I think we pretty much overstayed our welcome as Mark & I used to clash.. he was just a mean spoilt boy who separated his dinner into individual piles on the table refusing to eat his peas, and everything he ate had to be covered in tomato sauce, strange boy. Even at that young age I remember being astonished that they allowed his behaviour. My parents were way more strict than they were.
I remember Auntie Peggy always having a fruit bowl of plastic fruit on the table, even now I can’t work that one out, why would you have plastic fruit and not fresh fruit 🤔.
Then one day I must have been bored and I took to their new red vinyl couch with a blue biro drawing a big ship, 🚢 which my mum sat on all afternoon until my father arrived home with my uncle from work, they were both chippies. No doubt I got a walloping from Dad, that I don’t remember. I think they Vim’d ( the abrasive name before Ajax ) it off the best they could but there was a faded stain left as a constant reminder of my naughtiness that day 😔
Looking forward to getting to know you better as I continue to read your enjoyable book 🤓📖 When is the final outcome of your court proceedings? Praying you receive the justice you deserve for possessing an honourable quality that seems to now be a rare diamond- a moral compass and integrity, or in the least you receive the leniency and grace in their crooked Legalese Masonic - admiral snake 🐍system.
    🙏🏽❤️ 🌴🦜🌤️🥭🍍🍹💚💛🧡❤️🐸

It's no wonder that so many Aussie soldiers have been committing suicide, what a sh1t show the ADF seems/seemed to be? Have bought your book, on its way, will be the first book I will read in 20 years, looking forward to it. Stay strong mate, what is happening to you is not right, far from it, it's time for a change to our cowardly reality. Thankyou David.

    David & Goliath
David stood and shook his head, this didn’t make much sense
all he did was tell the truth, and not sit on the fence
Yet here he was, he chose to stand, they tried to make him drown
They’d bury him in legal fees, they tried to cut him down
In court they said, ‘You can’t depend, on truth as your defence’
‘We’ll rig the case so you can’t win, ‘cos truth is an offence’.
‘We’ll hold the trial in secret so, the public cannot see’
‘We’ll do our best to lock you up, and throw away the key.’
‘How dare you have the guts to stand, and face the likes of us’
‘When we get done, you’ll feel as though, you got hit by a bus’
But David stood and told the truth and others came to see
how governments abuse their power and good men are not free
Not free it seems to tell the truth, about war crimes and lies
Not free when killers walk our streets, beneath blue summer skies
While gormless politicians all, just stand around like sheep
What passes now for justice, is a lie that makes me weep
It’s time for us to make a stand, to be by David’s side
Tell others how the law’s an ass, and spread it far and wide
The spirit of Eureka now, we need to see this though
For truth to win, it’s up to us, it’s up to me and you.

    Great talk by David McBride.
Some good quotes (not exact words)
    * Public service (ADF) & other PS heads - probably 30 + truth benders like Catherine Campbell (Robodebt illegality) here in Canberra & she is probably not the worst example of a captive Chief Secretary.
    * ADF is run not for protection of Australia but to make Minister look good.
    * Ben Roberts Smith was, besides being a killer of unarmed civilians, a "good" decorated SAS officer - because he was good PR for Minister & Generals (who never get investigated over such ADF war crimes).
    BUY DAVID'S BOOK !
