@@jackasad2180 Definitely. You can play this build without the uniques i mentioned in the guide. They will provide alot of dmg and are good chase items while leveling with non-unique gear. Mechanically everything is possible without the uniques, just lower dmg numbers.

I started playing a month ago and I think it's time I try out this new build. I have already gotten 2 Fulgarites 2LP ready to go. So excited to try this build out.
After the fire shield throw (first one I tried in game) this one feels so smooth and fun. Still learning the gear & min-max tho but the monolith farm is hella entertaining. Thanks for the amazing build, no chance I could create anything like that ever :D
Very nice Build indeed and very well done. I have Tested the two Variants. I am playing only Solo. The defensive one is definitively my preferred . I am playing at the time being at 200+ corruption and everything is quite easy. so lets see how far i can go. I Will test the dungeons later. A must to have build to farm the monolyth at least. Just to add the clearer speed in monolith is the fastest one that i have played. Very Well done Sir!
Idk if anyones mentioned it since I suck at searching for comments lmao; flip of a coin only counts as 2 shuriken always for keen throw. It says it in the alt information ^^ "For calculating the damage bonus of the Keen Throw node this effect counts as if it always added 2 shurikens."

I saw that i have both legendaries for this build so I'm leveling a blademaster rn :) Can't wait to reach lvl 71 (only have 1 dagger so far :D) but I just found an Idol which converts my shuriken dmg to lightning which is kinda awesome :) Ty for this guide and video sir! :)
Glad you like it. You can also get 100% conversion with helmet/body armour affix. No need to waste the big 4x1 idol slots for conversion. I would save idols for life/res. Also the lightning conversion is not necessary to make the build work.

Im glad you like it! Of course you need both luck to find good gear but also know how and when to craft your perfect items. The gear that i showed in the video is completely crafted by myself and not far away from the build planner. Took me a couple of days to get it. But im also playing this game for 3 years, so this comes with knowledge and also patience and dedication to one build to keep on grinding.

@@joelfitzpatrick3025 you will get it no worries. The uniques are not required to make the build work. You could either farm with a different char or alrdy start with only rare items. I got my items in monolith, just casually farming. You could try using rune of ascendance on gloves and daggers.
This build is great, but it has 2 problems right now: 1.) The lag/getting stuck, when you cast synchronized strike sucks. Most likely you will probably die cause you just stand there. 2.) You are very squishy. I am only 74 but I can get instgibbed. However, you clear really fast, so its a trade-off.
How do you figure entry points gives 180% more dam? The way I read it, you only get 90. Whatever combination of ailment stacks from bleed or poison, it caps at 90. Let's say you have 7poison and 8 bleed, there's your 90%. Now if you have 10 poison and 10 bleed, it's still 90 since you have reached your maximum of 15 collective ailment stacks.
I also thought it works like that. But i saw the difference once i added bleed to the build aswell. Then i asked one of the devs and he confirmed that it's 180 and it's possible to reach 15 stacks each with bleed and poison for the multiplier.
Hey! Awesome guide! I might give it a go. BD used to be my favorite class, though recently I've been doing more necro/druid for high corruption farming. I actually have a 3 LP version of that staff. Could that conceivably be better than the dual daggers, and if so, what should I try to Leg it with? Any thoughts appreciated!
Dual wielding daggers will be superior at the end since they provide you with alot of base crit and flat dmg. You will also miss throwing attack speed and crit chance on passives while not dual wielding. I think the staff is more designed for shurikens rather than chakrams because of the ricochet node, but the staff will do its job into endgame for sure. Probably going low life with deaths door passive is the go to for high base crit, but needs alot more uniques to work properly. For LP i recommend crit chance, crit multi, shock chance and then chill or slow. So make sure to get the perfect exalted staff ready for the craft.
New player to Last Epoch here. How exactly do you get this mandatory unique for the build? Is this truly a beginner build with a hard 'need this staff' drop like that?
In the video and written guide i mentioned that you dont need any of the uniques. They are recommended for dmg boost. Rune of Ascendance or Monolith target farming will help you get the uniques. The staff is only recommended for leveling because of the +3 to Shurikens, you also dont need it.

I brought this build out exactly one year ago. Maybe some people thought its not viable anymore because its old footage. And its not on maxroll ;) but im glad you are enjoying it!
Where can you farm Bo's Anarchy? I'm still learning the game and can't figuer out the "Target" farm of uniques, yet... Thank you for this great build @TriKster
Its a random "common" drop. I would only recommend to play with the staff when you already have it. Otherwise do not target farm for it. Just use 2 rare daggers until you get fulgurites.
Im new, never played before, want found your build, going to try it, looks very fun. But how do i get the Fulgurite Shard? Tried google it, but did not find much info. Is it just random drop that drops anytime, or do i need to kill a boss that drops it or craft it?
It is a random drop but you can target farm daggers in the Reign of Dragons monolith timeline. You could also use your Rune of Ascendance on any non-unique dagger to chance the fulgurites. Its a gamble but there are not that many unique daggers in the game, so maybe you find one. Good luck!
I did all the content with what i showed in the video so i personally dont need any upgrades. The new amulet is probably BiS for mono and t4, yes. So if you need more life just use it.
Dude, I know all the guys from maxroll very well. We are CT's and play the game for many years already. And I like and use maxroll aswell. That comment was towards some community members that believe that there are just a handful of viable builds. Dont take this too serious, i was just joking around.

I would really like to see more players coming up with different builds. I like build diversity and just in general to talk about different concepts and ideas. Really love this build, insanely strong, easy and fun to play. But I have serious survival issues when it goes to empowered monoliths. The main reason is that I have low health, at lv95 I am still at 1317HP. I tried to improve HP pool but can't find the items to do so. :/
Try to get alot of hp/vitality idols with resistances. You can setup the lootfilter for it. Increased hp on helmet/body armour/belt, hybrid health on boots/belt. Good luck!
Glad you like it. I dont share my lootfilters. They are too strict and will not help you. I also think everyone should create his own filters since they are super easy to make in the game.
On rings you can get the ''Throwing Damage and Reduced Mana Cost'' affix. Tier 1-5 already provides you with -3 mana cost which will make Shurikens cost 0 mana. Should be super easy to craft or find early on while leveling. Just highlight the affix in your lootfilter and you will never miss a ring with that affix.
Hey man first off great build! This is my first toon in last epoch and the damage has been fine with the 2 unique daggers. However the defensive side of it has been really tough even in 100 corruption monoliths. Ive got max res (and the throwing dmg leech blessing), now working on getting max crit avoidance with the blessings, what else should I be doing to maximize defensive aspect of this build?
100% crit avoidance, 60% endurance, 2k+ hp, high movement speed, should be your goal in empowered. You could also swap to 1dagger+shield setup if you cant survive. Dual wielding is always risky. With more experience and playtime you will learn more about enemy/boss attacks, so its not always about the numbers and stats.
Hi TriKster, thank you for your great build and clear video explanation. I confused about Ricochet node (does not scale with points allocated) and Massacre (crit multi on top tree). Does it mean that if I allocate point to both Ricochet and Massacre node, crit multi on Massacre will not working?
I'm glad you're enjoying it! The Crit Multi from Massacre will still apply, but i put 2 points out of (losing 50% crit multi) to get 100% crit multi from Ethereal Blades (100% pierce chance -> 100% Crit mutli). So effectively we gain 50% crit multi with the skilltree switch to Ricochet once you are able to spam a 9 mana cost Shuriken. If you dont play with the Ricochet node, because you dont have -9 throwing mana cost, you simply put the points into Massacre.

hei at first awesome guide ! im relative new to the game while leveling should i go for Phys dmg (didnt have the conv. mod for shuriken) or put 4 points in charged steel ?
Go phys dmg first until you get lightning conversion affixes on helmet and body armour or 2x fulgurites. No need to spec into charged steel for conversion.
Lightning Shred is an easy blessing to get on lagon timeline since most of the other blessings are bad there. Shock is one of the best dmg ailments to buff a dmg type. Fulgurites already provide 100% lightning conversion. At the end it doesnt really matter. I dont care which conversion does more dmg. Lightning looks cooler and worked out perfectly with the additional flat dmg/conversion on affix.
Just started playing after the official release. Is this build still viable? Everyone is playing Falconer and it seems so boring. This looks a lot more fun

You can already reach 17%base crit with shurikens. With Relic/passives i have around 60% crit + 20% added base crit vuln. The crit chance on daggers that i included in the build guide you technically dont need so i will update the guide some day because as you can see in the video i perma crit. Crit multi as much as possible. 500% is easy to get and was enough for me to beat all the content.
can i ask you a question? if you convert your shurikens into chackram how does having + to more shurikans throw add to the damage? IF ITS CONVERTING into 1 chackram anyway
Me as a noob, im lvl 26 now. Just got bladedancer. Where do i get that bo’s staff and those gloves? Is it random drop or is it from specific Boss? Should i gamble from vendor to get it? Should i use materials to upgrade gear or should i wait? Great guide 👌🏻
They are both random drops but you could target farm uniques in monolith. Vendoring uniques is not possible except from soulfire bastion dungeon. You could technically use rune of ascendance on gloves and daggers. But i would not waste my time on Bo's if you dont find it. Its just good for leveling. But rare daggers will do the job until you get fulgurites.
@@trikster08 i saw now That there is no forge potential on falgurite so cant use creation on it, kinda obvious now when im thinking about it😅, I upgraded a rare one with ascendence and got it on first roll 😁 how are you targeting specific items in monolith? Just use loot filter and go thru them or a specific monolith?
A dev confirmed that the max bonus dmg multiplier of 90% is affected to ONE ailment. So getting 15 bleed/15 poison stacks on an enemy will grant you 90% each.
It is possible to proc SD with sync strike and smoke bomb. But we would waste so many points in their skilltrees for such a low SD proc rate. Umbral Blades and Shadow Cascade are the best skill to proc SD. You can get so many defensive stats out of sync strike/smoke bomb.

@@lorzkotzros smoke weaver has shit ton of flat dodge on it, makes it more tanky on SD build. Fulgurites are pure glas canon for chakram. So on chakram build we focus on pure dmg to destroy enemies before they touch us.
There is a node called Umbral Remnant in its skilltree. Whenever Shadows expire they leave behind an Umbral Blade. Therefore you can replace the skill with something else on your skillbar since the Shadows from Sync Strike+Shift will do the job for you.
is there a way to make is so that umbral blade is the main skill of the build? im on lvl 70+ and got all of thm unique equip but umbral blade dmg is so much better thn shuriken after the update dont know why... my umbral is around 5k and shuriken is 13k still out dmg shuriken... is it broken atm? disclamer.... my other item is still not that great, still farming for good exalted.
Umbral Blades is broken since its release. Mechanically it just outclasses every other skill. Especially with the ability to proc shadow daggers. You can run the same setup spamming UB instead of Chakrams and probably change shurikens to a defensive armour buff setup.

@@lorzkotzros nah its just too strong. HP builds cant keep up with ward currently. But everyone knows that its getting nerfed some day. And i dont wanna make guides just for the clicks to abuse something.
@@timrains3469 i have to check again ingame if something changes with the newest hotfix. LE Tools still says 30% more dmg per point. And you can have up to 3 points allocated.
Shadows vanish after using an ability like Shurikens/Acid Flask/Umbral Blades/Shadow Cascade, or after a duration of 5 seconds. So they immediately disappear after i use Shurikens by myself and then they leave UB behind.
You can play this build without the recommended uniques. They will greatly boost your dmg, but mechanically you can play the build without them. Once you spec into Sync Strike the build will do enough dmg to bring you into endgame.

@@raw_bigboy you need to convert it first with prefixes on helmet or bodyarmour. There are also idols/fulgurites daggers or the shuriken skilltree nodes that convert base phys dmg to lightning
You can pretty much level with this build from the beginning. Once you have sync strike you will not have any problems anymore. Otherwise bleed puncture and umbral blades are strong leveling skills.
@@trikster08 ty, also im having trouble finding the Bo's Anarchy, I just reached 26 and unlocked bladedancer...is it ok if i use 1 one handed and 1 shield until level 71?
@@FoxyJesus yes. Make sure you have a dagger or any other weapon with high base crit implicit. Dual wielding daggers makes it easier to deal crits earlier. If you need to be more tanky stick with a shield.
Definitely harder to play while dual wielding and also bringing your defenses up. But very rewarding once you did and got used to the playstyle. Glad you like the guide!
If you wanna see something OP and broken you have to try Lich or Necro. Trust me this build is balanced compared to some other stuff and it actually requires gear to perform well :)

Glad you like it. I found the gloves relatively quick. Should not be too hard to find. Otherwise just use Rune of Ascendance on any non-unique gloves.

the shurkiens skill is so broken it says i have no points to use but i can put points in the nodes and i have +2 shurkiens but it says lvl 20 though
This doesnt affect shurikens only.
Currently the +x level to skill affix visual bug affects all skills.

Hey. I believe the frailty passive node mentions it only works on melee hits.
The tooltip says frailty on melee hits, yes. But it works while only throwing chakrams at the enemy. So probably bugged aswell :)

Requires a bit more gear and min maxing to cap resistances but should be very powerful aswell. Havent tried it, but sounds fun to gear around it.

Its a random "common" drop. I would only recommend to play with the staff when you already have it. Otherwise do not target farm for it. Just use 2 rare daggers until you get fulgurites.
Im new, never played before, want found your build, going to try it, looks very fun. But how do i get the Fulgurite Shard? Tried google it, but did not find much info. Is it just random drop that drops anytime, or do i need to kill a boss that drops it or craft it?
It is a random drop but you can target farm daggers in the Reign of Dragons monolith timeline. You could also use your Rune of Ascendance on any non-unique dagger to chance the fulgurites. Its a gamble but there are not that many unique daggers in the game, so maybe you find one. Good luck!
Have you changed to focus more on life? I think dread mentioned your build in a video. Have you tried the new +life unique?
I did all the content with what i showed in the video so i personally dont need any upgrades.
The new amulet is probably BiS for mono and t4, yes. So if you need more life just use it.

Dude, I know all the guys from maxroll very well. We are CT's and play the game for many years already. And I like and use maxroll aswell. Really love this build, insanely strong, easy and fun to play. But I have serious survival issues when it goes to empowered monoliths. The main reason is that I have low health, at lv95 I am still at 1317HP. I tried to improve HP pool but can't find the items to do so. :/
Try to get alot of hp/vitality idols with resistances.
You can setup the lootfilter for it.
Increased hp on helmet/body armour/belt, hybrid health on boots/belt.

Glad you like it. I dont share my lootfilters. They are too strict and will not help you. I also think everyone should create his own filters since they are super easy to make in the game.

I'm sorry for a silly question, how do I get my shurikens to cost 0 mana?
On rings you can get the ''Throwing Damage and Reduced Mana Cost'' affix. Tier 1-5 already provides you with -3 mana cost which will make Shurikens cost 0 mana. Should be super easy to craft or find early on while leveling. Just highlight the affix in your lootfilter and you will never miss a ring with that affix.
Hey man first off great build! This is my first toon in last epoch and the damage has been fine with the 2 unique daggers. However the defensive side of it has been really tough even in 100 corruption monoliths. Ive got max res (and the throwing dmg leech blessing), now working on getting max crit avoidance with the blessings, what else should I be doing to maximize defensive aspect of this build?
100% crit avoidance, 60% endurance, 2k+ hp, high movement speed, should be your goal in empowered.
You could also swap to 1dagger+shield setup if you cant survive. Dual wielding is always risky. With more experience and playtime you will learn more about enemy/boss attacks, so its not always about the numbers and stats.
Hi TriKster, thank you for your great build and clear video explanation. I confused about Ricochet node (does not scale with points allocated) and Massacre (crit multi on top tree). Does it mean that if I allocate point to both Ricochet and Massacre node, crit multi on Massacre will not working?

The Crit Multi from Massacre will still apply, but i put 2 points out of (losing 50% crit multi) to get 100% crit multi from Ethereal Blades (100% pierce chance -> 100% Crit mutli).
So effectively we gain 50% crit multi with the skilltree switch to Ricochet once you are able to spam a 9 mana cost Shuriken.
If you dont play with the Ricochet node, because you dont have -9 throwing mana cost, you simply put the points into Massacre.

Go phys dmg first until you get lightning conversion affixes on helmet and body armour or 2x fulgurites. No need to spec into charged steel for conversion.

Lightning Shred is an easy blessing to get on lagon timeline since most of the other blessings are bad there. Shock is one of the best dmg ailments to buff a dmg type.
Fulgurites already provide 100% lightning conversion. At the end it doesnt really matter. I dont care which conversion does more dmg.
Lightning looks cooler and worked out perfectly with the additional flat dmg/conversion on affix.

You can already reach 17%base crit with shurikens. With Relic/passives i have around 60% crit + 20% added base crit vuln. The crit chance on daggers that i included in the build guide you technically dont need so i will update the guide some day because as you can see in the video i perma crit.
Crit multi as much as possible. 500% is easy to get and was enough for me to beat all the content.

Yes, i just think bladedancer is better because we can have more than 3 shadows up with it. Falconer is probably more defensive but with less dmg
can i ask you a question? if you convert your shurikens into chackram how does having + to more shurikans throw add to the damage? IF ITS CONVERTING into 1 chackram anyway
Check out Keen Throw node next to Chakram. More dmg per Shuriken.

Me as a noob, im lvl 26 now. Just got bladedancer. Where do i get that bo’s staff and those gloves? Is it random drop or is it from specific Boss? Should i gamble from vendor to get it? Should i use materials to upgrade gear or should i wait? Great guide 👌🏻
They are both random drops but you could target farm uniques in monolith.
Vendoring uniques is not possible except from soulfire bastion dungeon.
You could technically use rune of ascendance on gloves and daggers. But i would not waste my time on Bo's if you dont find it. Its just good for leveling.
But rare daggers will do the job until you get fulgurites.

@@maxelito7590 always a gamble so its up to you. If you need jelkhors aswell then you could try runes on daggers because there are not many uniques.

why do you care about getting bleed stacks up? don't you only need 15 of poison OR bleed for entry points?
A dev confirmed that the max bonus dmg multiplier of 90% is affected to ONE ailment. So getting 15 bleed/15 poison stacks on an enemy will grant you 90% each.

It is possible to proc SD with sync strike and smoke bomb. But we would waste so many points in their skilltrees for such a low SD proc rate. Umbral Blades and Shadow Cascade are the best skill to proc SD. You can get so many defensive stats out of sync strike/smoke bomb.

@@lorzkotzros smoke weaver has shit ton of flat dodge on it, makes it more tanky on SD build. Fulgurites are pure glas canon for chakram. So on chakram build we focus on pure dmg to destroy enemies before they touch us.

"Dynamics" gives you up to 30% mana efficiency for Sync Strike.
I'm a complete newb, but how are you casting umbral blades without it on the hotbar?
There is a node called Umbral Remnant in its skilltree. Whenever Shadows expire they leave behind an Umbral Blade. Therefore you can replace the skill with something else on your skillbar since the Shadows from Sync Strike+Shift will do the job for you.

Umbral Blades is broken since its release. Mechanically it just outclasses every other skill. Especially with the ability to proc shadow daggers.
You can run the same setup spamming UB instead of Chakrams and probably change shurikens to a defensive armour buff setup.

Entry Point is your biggest dmg multiplier in the skilltree.
@@timrains3469 i have to check again ingame if something changes with the newest hotfix. LE Tools still says 30% more dmg per point. And you can have up to 3 points allocated.

How do you kill your shadows so quickly so they leave the blade faster?
Shadows vanish after using an ability like Shurikens/Acid Flask/Umbral Blades/Shadow Cascade, or after a duration of 5 seconds.
So they immediately disappear after i use Shurikens by myself and then they leave UB behind.

This even doable from lvl one to endgame? with out recommended?
You can play this build without the recommended uniques. They will greatly boost your dmg, but mechanically you can play the build without them. Once you spec into Sync Strike the build will do enough dmg to bring you into endgame.

Umbral blades feels out of place and in the video you use decoy.
Why out of place? Its a throwing skill as shurikens, deals alot of dmg and helps with clearing.
I dont need UB in the skillbar when its an auto proc.

Shurikens/Chakram is a throwing skill, no melee tag. Use %increased lightning dmg, crit chance or crit multiplier.

@@raw_bigboy you need to convert it first with prefixes on helmet or bodyarmour. There are also idols/fulgurites daggers or the shuriken skilltree nodes that convert base phys dmg to lightning

You can pretty much level with this build from the beginning. Once you have sync strike you will not have any problems anymore.
Otherwise bleed puncture and umbral blades are strong leveling skills.

@@FoxyJesus yes. Make sure you have a dagger or any other weapon with high base crit implicit. Dual wielding daggers makes it easier to deal crits earlier. If you need to be more tanky stick with a shield.

Super guide and video, but honestly way too squishy. 90% of the players won't have the defensive gear to avoid getting one shotted.
Definitely harder to play while dual wielding and also bringing your defenses up.
But very rewarding once you did and got used to the playstyle.
