I moved back to my hometown because of this song. I couldn't end back up in the house. But the town was my home and embraced me. It has been 9 years and has been a blessing.
House that Built Me, is prolly the best song of Mirandas that gut hits me. The House That Built Me, is NOW buried under a parking lot. so even when I "go Home", I can't "go home" . it's sad.🙁 so many memories, just gone. 😢😭
Just came across your channel while looking to play Miranda’s video of this song. I listen to this song every time I miss my parents. My parents died a year apart from each other when I was almost 17. My mother and her 8 siblings grew up in the same house as me and brothers. We didn’t have much, but we did have love, food and a roof over our heads. I can’t go back and visit. I was forced to sell it or it would be condemned. There were bad memories and good. But, like the song says, it made me who I am😊 love your reaction. New subscriber! 🤟🏼
I just love your reaction videos and hearing your opinion about different topics. You come across as a really down to earth man, and I am enjoying your channel.
Love this song... I have subscribed.. I have listened to about 20 of your reactions today... Spent hours here listening... It's been a good bunch of music.. Of course, almost anything by Home Free is my favorite, but I have loved these other songs you have reacted to..
Thank you. I’m going through a hard time and your videos are so comforting. I wish I was your friend. Seriously though keep doing what you’re doing. Please.
My middle daughter swears that this is her song. All of my children handprints are on our back porch. She learned guitar in her room & on the front porch. The front porch is where we have (to this day) "porch talks". Her 1st fish was caught from our pond in the back. Makes me smile to think of it. My husband built this home for me to raise our children in. We saved every penny we could to build it. No Morgage. Our home & land truly has blood, sweat & tears poured into this place. We even carved our initials in a tree. Lol. It's not the material things but the memories behind it all.
This song is where I realized how much I loved Miranda. Her spirit and her passion are so incredible that anyone that doesn't fall just a bit in love with her is lying to themselves IMO.
Miranda is so talented. She can hit you with that outlaw country and then sing a beautiful ballad such as this. I don't know much about her private life and don't care. It's none of my business. She hails from the same part of Texas that I'm from. About 30 miles away. As much as this song touches me, there have been many concerts where she would get very emotional and she could not get through the song. The audience just picks it up and sings it back to her.
Dude u definitely became my favorite reactor i love how u actually react to all kinds of music hard to find people who appreciates music from every genre
That's exactly what I did when my grandparents passed, I went back to the house that built me in Pawhuska,Ok. I didn't take anything but my memories. I still drive by when I go back.
Oh man that was beautiful, never heard that before but brought tears to my eyes. Made me think of my mum and dad who have passed and made me miss them even more.
I just got goosebumps listening to Dion and Aaron Neville in Abraham,Martin and John. You really need to listen to other Aaron Neville hits one of the greatest singers ever was..amazing voice. He's in his 70s now..he is one of a kind. He can sing anything and often does it on first takes..truly amazing. Another great is Etta James in I would rather go blind a song she wrote. When I think of the greatest I think of Elvis, Aaron Neville, Etta James, Tina Turner.
Miranda lambert is seriously a big hearted beautiful woman..she saves animals.and she's been badly hurt like so many of us..please don't judge her..listen to Oklahoma sky..beautiful
I obviously cant speak for everyone - but as a survivor of abuse - this song serves as a reminder that I'm still here kickn., we make our experiences positive or negative.
Thank you! This song hits close to home as I have 4 other sisters and all of us grew up in the same house. My dad had heart problems and could not shovel snow or mow the lawn. They had to move and this is how I felt and still hard for me. I was blessed since a lot of ppl didnt have that. Much love! And you have a beautiful smile! ❤❤
This has always been one of my favorites by Miranda. I love it when she shows her softer side and just picking a guitar. So genuine. If you enjoyed this you would like "Over You" that she co-wrote with her now ex-husband Blake Shelton. And more laughing is awesome! Like joking about Miranda burning stuff down! Lol
I forgot about this song until I heard it on the radio yesterday. It's called - Help pour out the rain (Lacey's song) by Buddy Jewel. I really think you will like it! Would love to see your reaction to it!!
I love this song. I also love what you said. A great way to look at the things from your past you are not proud of-- Thank you for that. Just love you and your take on these videos :)
I love this song. I went back to see my homeplace, but it had been torn down. That's ok I still have the memories. Thank you for playing this video. It's my first time seeing/hearing it.
Dear M.R.M, have you ever gone back to look at your old home? I did a few years ago and the city had torn it down to build condos, funny thing I can still remember the pepper tree that grew in the front yard and the smell to this very day now. and that was more than 50 years ago.
You MUST do. Her song Ain't my mommas broken heart.. It would be great to see you react to that craziness. Especially since you always comment on her personality.. Cracks me up
Miranda is not "all bad girl "as the songs she sings. TIN MAN is just one of the many songs she wrote after she and her ex husband Blake Sheldon divorced. Through her pain she wrote so many songs that she won many CMA awards. I wonder if she will ever get over him.
I got to go back to my childhood home a few years ago, turns out a gal I went to grade school with lived there with her family. We met up at a party after not seeing each other in at least 15 yrs, and she said I could come over anytime. I took her up on the offer. It wasnt exactly the same (no brown floral 80s couch lol) but I appreciated that she let me come in. It wasn't much but it was home. This was a sweet song.
This song! Touches my soul, I cry every time that I hear it. It inspired me to go back to the neighborhood that I grew up in. There was nothing left of my childhood home, just a vacant lot now! It was like letting go of so much pain. I cried all the way home. I'm not sure why. I left all the pain behind, but it was also the pain that made me who I am and I am a good, kind and caring person. I made it out! I survived! I said goodbye.
Love your channel. What do you treat? I had my right lung removed Jan 7th 2019 and it followed with 4 additional surgeries through the back. I say a prayer for everyone that has cancer and for those that treat them. Don't pray for me. Had a great life and no regrets. God and I are buds. We'll work it out
generally not a country fan as underground hip hop and 80's punk are my usual thing. that being said I am a big fan of miranda lambert as she is an exceptional musician and makes country music enjoyable!
Real home videos from her childhood, and her home she grew up in.
This song hits me hard every time. Had a wonderful childhood. ❤❤❤
I have always loved this song... thanks!

This song won country song of the decade this year.
Thank you. I’m going through a hard time and your videos are so comforting. I wish I was your friend. Seriously though keep doing what you’re doing. Please.

This is a very good yet relatable song from Miranda Lambert. I thank her for bringing this song to us.
What a great way to say thanks for the roots you came from. Lovely subtle backing to the vocals.

This song hits my heart....

Wow! That's awesome
think most people can relate to this... i cry everytime so damn beautiful i love Miranda
One of my fave songs, thank you
Great song. One of Miranda's biggest hits. That little girl in the pictures and videos was Miranda from her childhood.
This song is where I realized how much I loved Miranda. Her spirit and her passion are so incredible that anyone that doesn't fall just a bit in love with her is lying to themselves IMO.
Country songs tell DECENT stories three times out of ten...and GOOD you-can-feel-it stories seven times out of ten. Amen. ;)

At some point in everyone's life, you feel this. Gets me everytime. Wish I could go back and buy the house that built me.Maybe someday I can 💗
Oh man that was beautiful, never heard that before but brought tears to my eyes. Made me think of my mum and dad who have passed and made me miss them even more.
Highly recommend Noah Thompson 2022. He was 20 when he won, 19 when his friend submitted him. He is awesome

Miranda Lambert singing Me and Charlie Talking is a sweet song.
This song almost makes me cry every time I hear it. I would do anything to get to walk around my old house.
My parents owned the home i was born in for 46 years.
I can totally relate to this one, and i love it!
Maranda Lambert writes a lot of her songs about her life her mom and dad use to be private investigaters
This song breaks my heart every time. I don't even relate to her in this video, but still.
This song makes me cry
Such a beautiful voice. Such a poignant song. I think that a lot of us lose our way and could use to go home and reflect.
It's not a good song, it's a Wonderful, Wonderful song, that stands up against any song ever written, maybe I need a channel.
Your sweet, gentle, sparkling spirit is the BEST part of you! Your mama sure raised an excellent human being. ❤️
Know I'm crying. This song is making me think of my childhood house
I obviously cant speak for everyone - but as a survivor of abuse - this song serves as a reminder that I'm still here kickn., we make our experiences positive or negative.

She's a TALENT...
Dear M.R.M, have you ever gone back to look at your old home? I did a few years ago and the city had torn it down to build condos, funny thing I can still remember the pepper tree that grew in the front yard and the smell to this very day now. and that was more than 50 years ago.

My favorite Miranda song!!
You crack me up!!!
That's a song that means so much to my children. And with them all growing up so fast, they really take the message of it.
This song! Touches my soul, I cry every time that I hear it. It inspired me to go back to the neighborhood that I grew up in. There was nothing left of my childhood home, just a vacant lot now! This was a massive hit…and for good reason!
Love your channel. What do you treat? I had my right lung removed Jan 7th 2019 and it followed with 4 additional surgeries through the back.
