The Phaze II is my favorite ball and I use it every time I bowl. I am looking forward to that comparison. Beef And Barnzy said they pretty much take the same spot in an arsenal. I like the way this ball looks but I'm not shopping for a replacement for the Phaze II. Can't wait for that video!
What are your thoughts with this idol vs song other choices like you 4k Reality you did awhile back? I notice in a lot of your videos your way inside at that house as oppose to where I would be in my house lol. My current balls I use typically are Phaze 2. I try to step down to a trend 2 but I don't like that ball much, can't seem to make it work. Would this be similar of an adjustments. My other balls I have is a phaze 5, Reality, and Hyroad
Same with every new ball. Find me sponsored reviews that claim the ball is a dud. You can't. The ball skids, the ball makes a left turn, the ball hits pins. Seriously, 98% of ball reviews are 'this is the greatest thing I've ever seen'.
I threw mine in league tonight. We have 10 people on a pair. I threw 7/8 strikes in practice (blower 7 pin was my miss). It looked amazing on the fresh. About 3 frames into the 1st game, it just got too smooth. Looking forward to throwing it some more and getting a better feel for it!
I find this hilarious. I just drilled an og Idol that I had stashed away for a few years. The Idol is possibly my favorite sym ball of all time. Looks like this Optimum is a go getter for me.
Nice video Luis the problem is the same thing I always share with you NO VOLUME of OIL. I bowl at 8 different places only shiny stuff. I had the original Idol it was ok prefer the Phase 2. Thanks 👍
I believe the microtrax cover stock was released first on the original defiant bowling ball. I could be wrong but im almost positive it was the coverstock on the defiant i love that cover stock if its the same one.. the defiant is my favorite ball of all time..

Last summer, I averaged 156 on 4 different Nationals patterns, with a high series of 542. First night this summer on the 2017 doubles and singles Nationals pattern, 543 (189, 186, 168). Optimum Idol is gonna be a game changer for me, especially on sports patterns.
Would like to see this vs Idol Cosmos. Also, would this fit in a bag with an All Road kept at 3k and a Zen at 500, 2k? League I'm bowling in has a long, heavy oil house shot. Thanks
For a Pattern Video of the Optimum Idol I’d probably go with the 45ft Dragon Pattern and for a ball comparison I’d probably compare it to both the Harsh Reality and the original Reality.
You need to throw this against the summit at the same surface, if you look at the two side by side core numbers and core shapes, they look almost identical
The pro of my local lanes and I have nearly the exact same fit. He is nice enough to let me try his stuff.... threw 12 straight throwing his Optimus Idol. Im at at crossroads, the Phaze II is my benchmark so where would this fit???
The ball we knew was coming, we just didn't know the version we'd see. Watch out tour...we have a happy Simo that was crushing without an Idol in the bag :)
I’m a little excited for this ball due to the coverstock cause I believe it’s the same as the RsT-x1 and I’ve been having success with that ball. And I can vouch that if you miss inside, it will hook. I honestly might drill it the same as it. But I’m also a bit interested in the AI core cause all balls have been going in that direction recently. So we will see if I’m joining the idol fan club cause I’ve never thrown one. I would say comparison to the old idol, Phaze 2, and honestly any asymmetric ball and see how it compares to it

Ok, y'all. Another update with my Optimum Idol. Last Thursday night, on my sport shot league, I opened the night by shooting my first 300 ever! Also, I picked up the Summit Peak over the weekend and shot 247, 278 after struggling with the Optimum for 201 on a house shot.
Do you think this would be a good 1-2 punch with the TNT infused? I got the infused a few weeks ago and I'm looking to find something a little stronger for league as the infused is late game 2 or game 3 for me.

I am probably one of the few that did not like the original Idol, and I gave it to a friend after 20 games. I’m getting back to SPI after going through Motiv and B7 and loving the Summit and Summit Peak with the AI technology. So this ball is getting my interest, despite my dislike for the OG Idol.
Can we see it against the summit and summit peak? I think SPI is on to something with there A.I. outer core technology… I’m thinking about building an entire A.I. arsenal.

They should be bald demonstration videos. Reviews are subjective, your company sponsored videos are not subjective so it shouldn't be labeled as a review. Other than that, good content 👍
They're not reviews, they're sponsored videos. It should be made crystal clear at the beginning of the videos. Most ball 'reviews' are exactly that. Just get the ball, it will make a left turn and hit the pins for sure.

You're correct. This ball is AMAZING! STRONG! HOOKS! WOW! DEFINITELY BUY IT! CLICK SUBSCRIBE. sport patterns are different and call for different surface/core combinations, but the normal house shot bowler can go buy ANY new ball. Clone, DNA coil, jackal ambush, summit peak, journey, sky raptor, optimum idol, hazmat, ethos, etc. And every single one of those balls will play off the 2nd arrow at your typical house shot scratch league. I guarantee you that. Ball goes down the lane, ball makes left turn, ball hits pins. It's amazing how I can get my jackal ghost and supra rally, two wildly different balls, to rip the snot out of the pocket standing in the same exact spot, and hitting the same exact spot on the lane. Ghost rolls smoother and a earlier, supra is cleaner and snaps at 45 feet. Both strike as often at league. It's marketing hype dude. Unless you're bowling sport patterns, there's not much to house bowling except oooh, shiny new rock! Oh, I play my tnt infused off 8 at arrows as well, hits like dynamite.

Don’t think Luis can throw Brunswick branded balls, only Storm, Roto Grip and 900 Global.
