OMG THANK YOU!! I now have a chart with COVID-19 "Tested" vs "Ruled out, pending, dead"... that way I can compare what's going on with the testing. I really appreciate you giving me exactly what I needed to do to make this happen. Simple, straightforward, and easy to follow. Awesome!
This video truly got me out of a bind so I thought I could help you. at the end you said the labels could not be centered but they can. If you click in the original table that you put the words in and hit the space bar however many space you need to center it. It will work I did it.
I think you are asking if you can move the months to the middle of the columns. No you cannot. It is being centered on 1 axis and you are moving the 2nd axis to the side to make it visible.
Appreciate for this video it helped me, but struggling to align the primary axis with secondary. As in the video Jan Total sale is 270 {150+140} therefore the clustered bar and the Stacked bar{ Tea and coffe} should be aligned at same level. Here the bar is showing the total sale of Jan is less when compared to total of Tea +cofee individual sales. I tried to change the scale of secondary axis didn't come right. Can you please help to resolve this.
Thanks for your guidance, But your subtitling / revoicing at the bottom of screen with black background disturb me to understand the curser movement & actions, so pl change it to right corner with transparent backround
How can i make a 3 level stacked - 2 column chart. I have data for number of manpower for electrician, mechanic and plumber distributed by months having the baseline and actual values. I want to see the difference between the baseline and actual per month in a chart. Thank you.
I did this exact thing and when I change chart type, it stacks all columns not just the secondary axis!?! Why??? I am using Office 365. It looks like you're using an older version.
Hi there! I'm using excel 2016 and i do get the same issue like you. what i did was i change chart type to combo. and select the necessary column to be in the 2nd axis and change the chart type to stacked. and then it works.
Hi Ismael, unfortunately, you can't do it in the same chart. You can overlay multiple charts. However, if you add more data for additional stacks, you will just keep adding them on top of the current stacks.
Hi Ismael, you can overlay 2 charts, but make sure you like up the Horizontal of both and also make the Vertical axis values the same. If you want to put them in the same chart, you can do something like this, but it requires you to replicate the Budget or Single Column for each Product Grouping (Stacked Columns). Let me know what you think. Here is a link to what it would look like: www.exceldashboardtemplates.com/SampleMultipleStackedClusteredColumns
