  • In April of 2022, Anna Pfaff set out to tick an Alaska classic - the Harvard Route on Mount Huntington. With her partner Priti Wright, Anna romped up the 3,000 foot face of ice, rock and snow, but the climb would prove to be a life changing experience. Frostbite would force doctors to amputate most of her toes. As a professional athlete, Anna would have to come to terms with her new best.

Sorry to hear about this. The hyperbaric oxygen treatment sounds like BS. With all the technology and money that people spend on gear, I wonder why apline climbers don't just wear spacesuits with battery powered heaters in the boots, and a glass bubble helment with normal air pressure inside.

Superbe perspicacité. Dommage que Red Bull ne fabrique pas un casque assez grand pour votre tête.

she's a world class north face alpinist with multiple first ascents. she climbs in himalaya, patagonia, and antarctica. she has completed dozens of expeditions around the world, specializing in the remotest terrain. guess you missed her when you were warming up on all those little hills yourself.

Ill out climb you all day every day. I was born in Dayton Ohio but spent 18 years in Alaska. Skied, traversed and guided Denali many times. @loribarfield1330
