Another amazing video! Your videos are always entertaining. I think you switched the species' locations. Here in North America we have parviflorum and calceolus is in Europe. Have a nice weekend!
Here in Ohio the ground orchids are coming to life. I wish the parks were open so I could take a walk and look for them. I would love to sit beside some and have lunch.
Lucky you have access to something like that even if on hold at the moment. Would love to see them growing in a park, forest, etc...I hope we can travel again soon to see them in nature 😊
How nice. I wish I could grow these orchids but it's too hot for them. I keep coming across your videos when I do searches so I have subscribed. I have liked all the videos you have that I have seen.
@@Orchidomania Ha ha thanks. And you're the first to call me right "Fear" and not "Scary". I live in Florida Tampa Bay Area. I had a small fridge once for a high land nepenthes. I was able to keep that plant alive for 10 months then it died on me. And later on the fridge leaked so I don't have it anymore. I could try again. The good thing is these seem tougher than delicate nepenthes.
How is the orchid doing now that winter is upon us. Hopefully she will come back bigger and better this new year. Loved the video. I would be tempted to plant an orchid I live in west coast in Canada but I don't think I am that brave. Love, love all your videos. Happy Holidays to you and yours.
Thank you KP 😊 Very sweet of you to say 🥰 Please share with whomever might enjoy it. As far as I know, the west coast is always rainy and mild compared to Montreal/T dot and they say the orchids are ok down to -20C...see here: hardyorchid.com/en/pflanzung-und-pflege/wachstumszyklus/ Right now the orchids are "sleepying" ...if you are familiar with the community tab on TH-cam you can see a picture I posted 2 months ago Happy Holidays 🌲🇨🇦
I planted one of these 3 years ago, and it bloomed evey year till now. In the Netherlands, on the north side, in the shade, front garden of my house, a bit protected by the wall of the house.
Thanks 🤞 I can't wait until next year when they should bloom again. Yes I planted them among tulips because that is a spot in my garden that fits all the criteria - shade, protected, moist but well draining soil.

Question I have a moth orchid that I managed to grow form seed. It is 4 years old and it's relatively small size. I also have a palm tree at my garden and I know that orchids can take their nutrients from just being in a tree. What's the best way to plant it on my palm tree?
Hi ...well I don't live in the tropics so I've never done that but I suppose you need to put it in dappled shade and tie it until the roots take hold or you could use a basket and hang it. I think the most important aspect is to not put it in full sun. Let me know how it goes😉
Great job, I wish you lots of luck and have a nice week! Thanks for sharing! ☺ 🌞 for Giovanni ❤
Thank you very much :) All the best for you as well. Giovanni says HI :)

Thank you Fear ...you are not so scary 😉 Where do you live? You can always try a fridge and then keep them in your house to bloom 😊

Hola Rosa :) No vendo estos y no soy un vendedor de orquídeas. Mi canal es solo ciencia, plantas y diversión. El idioma es el ingles.
