This is just a beautiful interview. I'm so glad I found this and thankful to Roger for doing this. As a songwriter/musician/producer and huge fan of LRB here in Florida USA, I could listen to this conversation for 20 hours straight. I had the pleasure of talking to Graeham about vocal harmonies 20 years ago and he was so willing and helpful to help out a struggling songwriter and gave so many great tips I'll always be thankful. Thanks for this. I loved both this and Part 1!
Thanks Roger, was a massive LRB fan back in the day, not too well at the moment and had big day of listening to my old collection. Finished off with these interviews and the one with Beeb. Feel a whole lot better now - thanks Roger and Graeham.
I got their first album when I was 14 and have been a big fan ever since. The main thing with them was their sheer great musicianship and song quality. You could hear the attention to detail and the work that went into each song; the production ethos and skill was on another level. You will not like all their songs but you appreciate the care and skill that went into their writing, arranging and recording. This was a fave of mine and yes Ric Formosa, one of the best lead guitar players ever. Great interview, gents. Keep them coming, Roger. 👍
Loved listening to this interview Roger. I always find it interesting to learn of the history/background of a song and the recording of them.. I also find Graeham to be so captivating to listen to. I have always been a huge fan of LRB.. Started listening to LRB in my high school days and from then on.. thank you Roger.
@Roger McLachlan I can't remember if I congratulated you when I first watched this, but this stuff is wonderful. SO, so interesting. Thank you, Sam McNally.
@@RJRKM Yes that was apparent. I’m presently losing my mind with what is opened up by Track Isolation, and I’m revisiting some of the Stylus things, driven by the passing of dear Ashley. I think it’s safe to say we all did some good work back then Rog!
I must have been that kid in the bedroom, because straight away I knew exactly the double kick you were talking about in the song. The human brain just hangs out for this level of detailed variation. That is just a small part of how the team is so great. Excellent discussion. Thx for the time both Roger and Graeham.
Great job Roger ! LRB were a quality band . Great to listen to with headphones. I was 1st turned onto them 43 years ago . It was great to see and hear from Graeham I was LMAO , great conversation . My family (wife & myself with our 4 Children ) love the real LRB band .Most days I will play a song or album to put me in a good mood. Love you all , Robert
Thanks for another great Video Roger.......and a big "Thank You" to Graeham for being so intent on, and also having the talent for getting the sound you wanted.
Here I am listening to both of talk about how much work went into these great songs. I have many of the songs on a playlist. I turn the lights off and just enjoy with my headphones. Thank u very much!!

Roger I love these long form chats. Please keep them coming. So wonderful to have all of this history and as Greg Macainsh said “get it down on tape”.
