- This week we got to hang out with legendary fishing guide and outdoor writer Terry Lacoss of Amelia Angler Outfitters in Fernandina Beach, Florida. Hope about the Retro Wagon as Terry recalls tales of monster largemouth bass, kingfish, redfish and more with fellow fishing legends like Roland Martin, Orlando Wilson, Bob McNally, Earl Bentz, and more!

RETRO BASSIN' THEME SONG

This man is a treasure. Great, great stories. I loved the bit where he had a rod and reel and the golf course ready to go. Love that wood Cabelas trophy and his winning it with Johnson spoons. And a Snagless Sally! Woohoo! Also like how the shop is also his trophy room. So cool. "If you like to fish this is the place to live." Sounds like you moved to the right state, Chris! I think I'd go back to Mr. Lacoss just about every time I was going to head out, just to get some tips and advice. I assume you bought his books on redfish and kingfish. Haha! Just brilliant!
I plan to use his intel tomorrow!
Forget Tactical Bassin', Terry is the type of guy you need to be getting your fishing tips from. A lifetime of fishing knowledge all in one place. Great stuff!
I grew up in North FL, Terry is "THE" Man. It's awesome to see him still getting tight lines!
Love your channel, Retro! Still fish my Heddon Sonic lure from the 60's, and CATCH on it! I have to ask, who sings your theme song? Catchy tune.
Thanks,
Bob
This one is a classic, there's something about approaching your guest in their shop they are very relaxed in tourn they give a great interview 👍
Im in my mid 30s and love videos like this. I could sit around a camp fire and listen to any old timer talk all night. And i still love watching Roland , Bill and Jimmy on TH-cam. Thanks for getting the storys on film from another legend so i could watch it.
Another cool video brother!👍
I am 38 and this man reminds me so much of my late grandfather who got me into fishing and makes me continue to chase them. Thanks for sharing.
Awesome vid, as always! What a legend, that had to be hard of what to cut as I am sure there were A LOT more stories told.
I am going to be down with Small Water Charters the 2nd week of March for my 50th birthday present from my wife. You're welcome to come along if you have any free time!
That’s amazing, Robert! I actually let Mr. Lacoss just talk and didn’t cut anything…but I could have stayed and listened all day!
Love seeing a local legend on you tube
This was awesome
Excellent video !
Thanks for taking us through some memories! Awesome video. Once a fisherman, always a fisherman! ✌️🤠
🎣😀
You should see his wall of largemouth mounts!
@@RetroBassin man! I bet it is cool.
I’ve helped Macoy the last 4 years filming for Scott. My first time holding the camera was his bienville episode. That place is amazing. But my highlight overall is filming for Roland at the classic last year. That one I know had my dad smiling down.
Love this episode .
Good stuff, thanks.
Cool beans 🤠 love hearing what these guys know from many years of experience!
loved this great stuff!
Thanks, Kevin!
