    I am running a water transfer pump. It is small, but i can all day dig. There is noise, but i idol it. I am running a 10-inch high banker. Good spray up the hopper. The hopper is the most important.

    You are running a vortex system on flat gold. I run a duplex system. I shovel until mud, then yabby pump. Vo-gus says reedy Gold is 22ct.

      Thinking about trying something different than the vortex 🤔

    Was it the 4700GPH bilge pump you were using? How did the kings power pack end up at the end of it? The 4700 bilge pump I have says it uses 16 a/h.

    • @onthegoldagain1246
      @onthegoldagain1246  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use a 2000gph bilge pump which is 10a I think. The power pack was only 1/2 drained, I was out there for 3.5 hrs but it didn't run the whole time. I'm very happy with it.

    That Jarvine riffle box thing you use , did you make that and slapped it in , or does it come with the highbanker ?

    • @onthegoldagain1246
      @onthegoldagain1246  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yer made the box up myself. The jarvine riffle is the old grizzly punch plate that came with the highbanker. I prefer grizzly bars over punch plate so made some of those too.

    I think that black mass you have there is a bushfire layer. It'll have some good gold at times. Back to the show.

      @onthegoldagain1246  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Mike you were right about the bushfire layer, in one of my latest eps " black gold" I found some more of this black mud but this time it was full of gold and yep also lots of charcoal. 👍

    I'm sorry but as I'm watching this video I get more and more frustrated on how you handle the paydirt. It's so clumsy and wasteful for all the work it takes to pull it out. Over shaking spilling and tossing everything about, I'm sure your losing 30-40% of the pay. Slow down just a little bit and stop being so ruff. The rest of everything I see you doing is great other than throwing away so much pay. Better luck man. I hope you find a patch where none of what I said will matter. Take what you need and throw away the rest. This is only my opinion.

    • @onthegoldagain1246
      @onthegoldagain1246  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Joe most of my panning is just test panning so I'm not too worried about losing some, just wanting to know the speck count. With the cons I only wash out the light stuff don't think I'm losing much. Have a good one thanks for watching. 👍

      @@boboharradine2673 I think you're missing the whole point. Its a hobby that sometimes gives you money back. Plus, in areas that have a deposit for bottles and cans, those usually get picked up by the poor or are taken in by the people that paid the deposit themselves. But you just wanted to be a troll didn't ya. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Simple
