just a theory. everybody thought yeonjun was the bad guy because of the past mv's where he looked sketchy and his concept photo said "guilty", they did that to confuse us because actually the bad guy here is beomgyu. he is trying to silence taehyun by suffocating him to death with the pillow because taehyun knows something and taehyun has the tag " suspicious " on his concept photo, which means maybe he is suspicious on beomgyu and yeonjun was covering up for beomgyu thats why everybody thought it was him. it was all a trick. and maybe thats why yeonjun has "guilty" on the concept photo because he has been keeping it a secret from soobin and the other members.
yeonjun is the bad one imo. He is controlling beomgyu. At the start u can see yeonjun giving beomgyu the ginger bread man which is clearly highlighted when beomgyu bites it which starts everything.
My favourite part is, *"friends don't understand me, understand me anymore. Friends don't understand me any, shh more" Yeojun my bias* keeps *bias wrecking* me 😭😭
This mv is so dark and creepy. I guess to put it simply I believe the music video is depicting chaos amongst friends who are now all hurting each other or seem to be killing each other with all the 'blood'. It starts off happily with friends simply hanging out but the moment kai took a bite of that biscuit he was given everything fell to pieces, in that moment you notice fire begin in the oven. Then on the couch when he pops his bubble gum, it was a metaphor for how they are all unknowingly hurting each other as you can see the others all smile while he has a blank expression, then the fire spreads and the tv turns red. There is a scene where beomgyu smothers Taehyun. Theres another scene where it looks like soobin (or yeonjun i cant remember from the vid) killed them all when they were 'playing' with the tomatoes and strawberries that they were throwing at each other. The fire has now spread to the rest of the house. Note the colour red throughout. In the last dance sequence their outfits have changed and become dark in comparison to the first dance sequence where they were dressed bright and cheerful. The dance move where they sung 'bad bad..sad sad' you can see they kinda collapse on each other, they are each others downfall, no longer understanding how they have hurt each other and need someone to save them. This is a bit all over the place but I just had to get all my thoughts down.

My Theory: Soobin is held hostage by "the cat" that's why no one can see him in this video, they think he is dead (they literally break into the house if you look closely). Taehyun is the only one who knows sth isn't right and can feel Soobin, he's also trying to figure out who is "guilty" between them. Yeonjun thinks he *IS* guilty bc he keeps setting things on fire without knowing (unconsciously). (Soobin is also suspected of Yeonjun bc of the bobble gum scene and him asking "who's the liar") Beomgyu on the other hand *IS* the real guilty one bc "the cat" is constantly possessing him and using him to destroy the others (like when he tried to suffocate Taehyun bc he was starting to suspect him). The only one I'm not sure of his role is Kai. He seems like "the innocent one" but him being the only one who's cautious in the bedroom scene makes me suspicious.

I also just want to add that the whistling in the song just adds to the creepiness and I love it (some people might not have noticed it, but it keeps going throughout the whole mv/song and it is kinda my fav part).

Taehyun and Yeonjun play around in the bedroom before Taehyun covers Yeonjun's body with the blanket. It flashes red as soon as he does. Onto the food fight scene. In the teasers we saw how the boys all got food stains onto their shirts. I am not sure if I got any of their names yet, but forgive me if I missed anyone. Onto the song: The song is so good. Definitely a different sound for them. The chorus is my favorite part. The layering of their voices though... Anyway, the person that stands out for this comeback for me personally is Yeonjun. He is my bias now.
Would you guys mind a bit of constructive criticism? I only bring it up because, as I'm watching your video, I'm noticing a whole lot of high end in the audio...like, the "treble" levels are really high...all the hi hats in the instrumental, and all the "S" and "T" sounds in the lyrics are really piercing... and I'm pretty sure that's because you guys are doing your live reaction with the audio coming out of your laptop...and laptops are notoriously high-end heavy when it comes to the speakers built into them... I get that you might be making these videos on a budget, and you don't have a lot of options... but you could do a whole lot for the sound quality if you would play the audio through a different sound source, like maybe a bluetooth speaker that has a wider spectrum of EQ? Something that has more bass response? Even with the microphone on your laptop, if you were playing it through like a home stereo, it would help cut down on that intense treble that's peaking during your recordings... LIke I said, just a suggestion... keep up the good work, ladies :)
