I grew up upper middle class & now we’re below the poverty line. It took me a VERY long time to be okay with coming from more & living with less, providing my kids with less. But I’m home with my kids & I have an amazing bond & relationship with them because of it. I grew up being taken care of by other people because my parents worked so much. I didn’t thrive in my childhood the way I’m watching my kids thrive. I’m homeschooling them, and we have the kindest local community group. I got bullied throughout my preteen years. My perspective really had to change. I put myself thousands into debt to try & keep up with what I had before I realized we may not be rich in money, but we’re rich in what matters ♥️🙏🏻

“Rich in what matters” yes 👏🏽❤️🥹 that’s literally the most important thing
thank you for sharing part of your story ❤️ praise God because no matter how little money we may have, if we stay close to Him, he WILL provide, even when it seems like your barely getting by, or wondering how your going to make it, he’s always there and he never fails 🙌🏽

I literally tell myself this EVERY DAY because there are things about my home that I dislike that I used to allow to take up too much space in my mind. Life is much more enjoyable when we have a positive mindset. Yes, please include me in your prayers. Thank you ❤

It really is 😊 especially when most of the time we can’t really do anything about it then and there, so why let it consume our thoughts and take away precious joy from us?
      I will ❤️

Thanks ❤ I’ve been frustrated in my home lately and the Lord keeps reminding me that I can tackle little decluttering & re-organizing tasks (like you’re doing in your kitchen drawers) each day in like 15 mins instead of using the excuse that I don’t have hours a day to devote to it. Right now working through a closet that is going to function much better. God is so good and always provides

Omg I’m so glad I found you today. I use to watch your other channel and I was literally thinking about you. Bam the Holy Spirit help me find you. I’ve been dealing with so much as a SAHM. I have a 20, 11, 10, 3 year old. So all walks of life. It has been a struggle especially being 40 with a toddler. I have to say finding you bought me peace and I cleaned my home with so much calmness. I’m in my journey of finding Christ and it has been a struggle with choosing my time wisely when my toddler goes to sleep. I’m working on this journey and know I will turn to the Lord. I’m so excited I found you

I am the opposite. I love old things that have been handed down for generations. In fact my den looks more like a storage room right now because when my mom passed, I couldn’t part with so much of her stuff. I have got to tackle that room and figure out what I have room to keep. I’m very much in the grieving stage and it’s about impossible for me to think of parting with her stuff. I didn’t bring clothes and stuff like that. It was donated to charities that give them away to people
In need. I did however end up with some furniture, some decor and THREE sets of her dishes. I also brought home some of her nicer towels and blankets and some kitchen items. I’m praying the the good Lord will help me figure it out after the grieving process. Thank you for the video. ❤

I am the type who loves small kitchens! Compact is best to me! I don't have much storage but i have a hoosier cabinet holding a lot in other room & blessed to have a basement for storage & home grocery store. I know I'm blessed & i focus on learning recipes. But i have bought vintage used things for my interests-affordable decor. Agree with you! Making do. I think your kitchen is awesome. Thanks

Thank you 😊 🩷 I love that you love those things ☺️ it’s funny, reflecting back on the audio it probably sounded like I dislike all “old things” but I actually do like certain vintage / antique things. My daughters dresser is very old and has that vintage worn in old look to it - because it is, and I actually searched for months looking for it and bought it second hand because that’s the look I was going for 😅

Gratitude is very important, we must be grateful for everything and most for the life we are given by God, because without it we would not be able to experience what we have… there is a poem I love to listen to “we are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars we have a right to be here, and whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should” there will always be things that is greater and lesser than ourselves, acknowledge what we do have and be grateful once we are grateful we can ask for and gain greater things, however with what ever greatness we do achieve we must remain forever humble and grounded knowing that we came here without and we will leave without!

Love what you said at the end
      Job 1:21
And he said, “Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return. The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.”
