Cheers Jason, I am enjoying the macro at the moment.
Hi Charles, enjoyed the images and tips, I did however only manage to watch almost half of the video, the background music was so loud I became fed up decreasing and the increasing the volume.
Hi Richard, apologies about the background music, it sounded ok on my headphones but I'll bear that in mind for future videos. Thanks for watching 👍
Interesting and inpiring video, Charles!
Thanks David! Cheers for watching 👍

Great video
Just came across this video and I loved it. So simply explained. Thank you. I have the same light and have never used it much. Is it on a tripod.
Hello Charles, I just happened along your channel and enjoyed seeing your photos very much. 😊
Thank you very much Sandra 😊
Like Neil Armstrong, I have this afternoon taken the momentous accolade, it’s one small step for an automated algorithm one giant leap for me watching a Charles Palmer video and getting the first comment. It’s all downhill for me from here.
(p.s. Great results as always Chas!)
Straight in there Rik, not even managed to check it myself yet!
@@CharlesPalmerPhotography the Google knows I catch the tips on a Friday 👍🏻
Grazie! 🇮🇹
Great channel following
2:17 Really, you should increase the exposure to the right. Then, in post production, you make your adjustments to get the elook you want. In this way, you are less likely to be impacted by digital noise.
Hi Charles ,really enjoyed your talk on moody macro photography. I’m just starting out on my photography journey and I’m enjoying macro ! May I ask what tripod you use please ?
I have a question, Why must the music be so-o-o laud. The music is not the main theme, here. I do like your photos and the way in which you present your tips. Thank you
AGREED! Why do "creators" include unnecessary, distracting, otherwise loud and obnoxious "music" in a non-musical video??
Showing off editing skills????
Hi Charles, my 1st visit to your site. Can you please give me the details of the light and it’s tripod. Great tips for the lighting effect and something I am keen to try
Lovely. What tripod and head is that please?
What’s the external light you used there?
Hi Charles love your style, wondering if you could give me the details of the light you use, I was thinking something that compact would work on my landscape photography
Hi David, there is a link to it in the description, it was a pexel RGB light I think off the top of my head 🙂
@@CharlesPalmerPhotography thanks Charles
Thank you, Charles. I would be interested in knowing which tripod you use.
Hi Peter, I'm using a vanguard veo 3+ for most of my macro photography 👍
@@CharlesPalmerPhotography Thank you Charles
Brilliant video, thank you. Your best advice was to slow down and look around. It's too easy to gallop through and completely miss the subtle images.
"So today I've come out into the fu&%ing $h!te countryside" ... 😳😲 ... wait ✋️ wtf.
Everyone in the kitchen looking round shocked. Rewound
"So today I've come out to the Buckinghamshire countryside" phew. Turn volume up more lesson learned.
All good but far too much ‘back ground ‘ music for me. I watch to listen to the dialogue and not distracting music.
Thanks Warren, someone else has said the same, I'll be toning it back in future videos 👍 thanks for taking the time to watch and comment 🙂
Gratulieren jedes an Beruf & Hoppies können man sich etwas von Privat leisten ......
Amazing , interesting and joyful..🤩🤩
STAY SAFE , STAY CONNECTED
Hope to see you on my channel my new friend🤝🤝🤝🤝🤝
Wait a minute - isn't going from 1/500 to 1/1000 INCREASING, not DECREASING shutter speed?????
IOW - at 1/1000, the shutter is working FASTER (increased speed), than the slower speed of 1/500, no?
At 2:18 you said "If I reduce my shutter speed (from 1/500 to 1/1000) the histogram moves to the left - slightly underexposed'. So, you INCREASED your shutter speed - if I'm not mistaken - please advise.
I enjoyed the video, but was put of by the distracting music.
Hornise....
