I love my medicaid. I couldn't be happier. I moved from Tx to NC last year, and NC had just accepted the expansion. I was found to have melanoma, which is very aggressive. They caught it early enough, and I just have a big scar on my neck now, and paid maybe $12 the whole time. Still have to go for skin checks every 3 months for the next 2 years. If I was still in Texas, I would have never caught it.

It's that a component of white culture as it has developed has been placing greater importance on things like work and being on time to work than say, education. And you could compare white Americans to other groups as well. In comparison to Germans or the Japanese, you could describe white Americans as not valuing time and being lazy while they are efficient and on time. The issue is that people don't really understand what is meant by these. They're descriptions of the social world, no prescription on social groups. This shouldn't be hard, but if you're stupid I can see why you might not understand it and say that actually it's the racist thing. That's not to say Ryan is stupid, just that he doesn't understand what's meant by that sort of cultural analysis and to frame it as an invention of white feminism and Robin D'Angelo is entirely false.
