Good job servicing the hub. I especially liked how you adjusted the bearings at the end. Thats the proper way to do the adjustment of a QR hub. A couple comments: it's better to clean the hub's cups without removing the dust covers. Yes it'll be trickier but you avoid damaging the dust covers. Also, you might consider replacing the bearing balls instead of cleaning them. They are cheap enough.
well define cheap enough. according to many bike shops it´s cheap enough to buy a whole new wheel hub included (in case of cheaper parts) instead of cleaning it. I definitely appreciate even the balls cleaned up and reused in the video but a note along that that part of the job isn´t so much worth it could do well indeed
@tomaskozler4856 Good point. Just cleaning and greasing the balls is better than no service at all. But its really hard to tell whether balls are getting worn. And since one took their time to service hub/freewheel, they might as well replace the balls.
Its already at the stage of breaking out the hub, have a check and maintenance for every 4 to 6 months depending on how often you ride on your bike.. always clean your bike after long ride..
You can apply a little grease to the balls of the bearing under the dust cover. Although usually these bearings are simply replaced, and the new ones already have factory grease
A visual guide to maintaining the bushing is good, but it is better to use a bushing with sealed bearings. At least that's what I do, since I got a rather ungrateful and dreary repair of bulk bearings.
OK, Bruder, wunderbares Video, Daumen richtig hoch.
1 thing about cup & cone system that most dont understand The ball is so much more harder than the cone & the cup. That meaning if the ball was broken then the cup&cone is useless , dont just change the ball , change the whole thing 😅
@@NiceBikeService Das mag schon damit gehen.

I enjoyed the good video. I am curious about disassembling and assembling the hub sealed bearing. Thank you.

Yes, the tool is the same for this lock ring

How do you pack the hub with extra grease to make it quieter? My hub is so noisy. Thank you.
it all depends on the model of the wheel hub

Stock bushings in most cases have balls inside, so we work with them🐱
