You've got a pretty huge chip on your shoulder. There are some good US comedians, like Louis CK. And I agree with George Carlin. But imo, in general, American comics are weak. Look at Daniel Tosh, Dane Cook, Kevin Hart, Jeff Dunham, Tracy Morgan, Carrot Top. Compare that with Jim Jefferies, Tim Minchin, Ricky Gervais, John Cleese to name a few
They’re just the perfect team, Noel is just so ludicrous and Russell just has the quickest wit, he’s NEVER at a loss it’s just incredible, they’re the best

i really love how Russell stays quiet, uses the time the audience applauds and laughs to come up with a witty comeback opposed to immediately respond where the actual replies goes lost in the noise. Smart man.

I don´t think Ayoade would feel comfortable. Brand is quick and witty but kinda tends to suck the oxygen out of every room. Noel is quirky and flamboyant too, but in a much more mellow way, so he complements Ayoade without overshadowing him. Sorry for my english, it sucks and I´m aware of it :)
