It's a hacked arcade rom based on original MK2 rev 3.1 introducing new features, balancing, stage rotations, allowing the secret characters to be played by unlocking them with the right requirements, new modes such as survival and tag 2 vs 2 and more. You can play it on any mame, final burn and even on original arcade cabinet, if you want to play the plus versions mk2 is not the only one check out their amazing work on umk3 too. There is a new feature on service menu called Improved CPU AI and if you take a look at game difficult you will see that very hard is not the maximum difficult but 6 - ultimate so if you want to challenge an higher AI compared to the original one this game is for you 😅
